We are in QB purgatory but we have not drafted any in the first round yet so this take sucks. We have to draft one in the first round

He’s a third round pick, not a first rounder, nothing says he can’t be a backup but we have to see how he develops. -
Lol ok I actually think we draft a QB and let him develop behind PJ if he continues playing well. But if the new QB lights it up in training camp then start him

He may still be a backup material but most QBs can’t make that throw. It’s probably a short list of Mahomes, Josh Allen, and a few others. That was an elite throw, moving to his left, off balance, and throwing a 67 yard pass with accuracy

He definitely belongs as a backup.

Baker is terrible, way worse than PJ or Heinicke.

Pretty much the same player. Good enough to win a few games, but also remind you why they’re not a franchise QB due to inconsistency . PJ is a solid backup but just like first half today he will not be able to carry this team into the future. He has limitation in seeing the field and missing wide open throws.
