They may be the most level headed fan base though. I don’t see it happening unless they lose 2-3 in a row

Sounds about right

I remember him last year doing many commercials and posting on social media with his hot model GF. May be a coincidence but he got hurt early. One can't help but wonder if he let the foot off the gas with his offseason training.

Panthers at 26th, but how in the hell do the Bucs get 29th after winning the superbowl? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2021-nfl-strength-of-schedule-ranking-for-all-32-teams-heading-into-the-nfls-inaugural-17-game-season/ Here's the 2021 strength of schedule rankings for each team (combined 2020 record of all 17 opponents, combined winning percentage). I disagree, it's best after there is some tape on him. We don't know what offensive scheme Jets will even run.

I never cared about the schedule release day
-
Not a chance 1. Rodgers wants to go to a SB contender 2. Panthers can’t take the risk of trading valuable assets to have Rodgers decide to retire without warning
-
True, but I think Horn and Marshall will also have immediate impact
-
I still think Horn makes more immediate impact but this was great to see https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ranking-the-top-10-instant-impact-rookies-for-the-2021-nfl-season-kyle-pitts-jamarr-chase-head-of-the-class/ 6. Brady Christensen, OT, Panthers Have to get one offensive linemen in here, and I didn't want it to be a first-round pick. Too obvious. Quietly, Christensen is the likely Week 1 starter for the Panthers at left tackle, protecting Sam Darnold. Sure, he'll battle it out with 2019 second-round pick Greg Little, but the former Ole Miss star hasn't come close to meeting expectations early in his NFL career and has no connections to the current Carolina staff. Christensen's BYU film was pretty darn clean. And it should have been for a 24-year-old blocker with 38 games on his college resume. He moves well for his size and was a quality battler in pass protection with high-end balance.

complimentary article about the Panthers draft by Yahoo Sports
NAS replied to BlitzMonster's topic in Carolina Panthers
He basically said that before, anything past first 16, talent level drops to about the same as second round -
I think they would have drafted Lance if available

Scott Fitterer: We want Sam Darnold to just flush what's happened

I like them both for different reasons. Arnold for pass catching and Tremble for the nastiness he will bring in the run game
-
Al Davis overdraftes for athleticism in 1st round. It’s exactly what you want to look for in an undrafted rookie. At least there is hope they may be able to developers him into a future contributor
-
I think he's spot on
-
apparently there was some drama in our draft room
NAS replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Explains why Tepper was so happy to talk to Christensen when he was finally drafted. I think that was a huge relief that he was still available. -
As I've stated before, I just hope Darnold isn't damaged psychologically and that he will gain confidence and his mojo under Rhule and Brady. I'm excited about the possibilities.

Our old friend Emory Hunt gives his thoughts on NFCS draft
NAS replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
That was intelligent analysis with actual substance -
6 starters this year or in 3 years?
-
It'll come down to money and where he thinks is best for him.
-
Yes to this, I hope Christiansen starts but Leno would be good insurance policy
-
Does Kuechly actually scout college players, I thought it was just scoutting opponents for upcoming games, etc.?

Bold prediction - Shi Smith will turn some heads in camp. Reminds me of a young Steve Smith based on size, speed and style of play.
