  1. I get it he started poorly last year but he showed what he can do in second half of the season. Let’s hope he can rediscover it soon
  2. There are no basic throws to make though, everyone seems to be blanketed
  3. He is a young player learning to be a professional. Hopefully he won’t need a second lesson when it comes to staying in shape and preventing soft tissue injuries. Get well soon Coker!
  4. Yet most of them wanted Thielen to be a third option at best and most wanted him traded. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t. I personally think a healthy Renfrow will be better in the slot than Thielen and excited to see what others will do in rotation.
  5. It’s funny how we brag about WR depth but if one guy gets hurt the sky is falling. It’s time for others to step up. Next man up you whiny bitc*es.
  6. First two years DJ Chark: free agent Hayden Hurst: free agent Diontae Johnson: free agent Terrace Marshall, Jr.: free agent Jonathan Mingo: traded Miles Sanders: released Laviska Shenault: free agent It’s wild that some of these were WR1 and WR2 at some point
  7. Get well soon and keep pounding!
  8. Tyler Huntley just got cut by the Browns
  9. 7-10 Canales and Bryce get another year
  10. That’s concerning the worst thing you can do is think about it that’s how you get the yips
  11. Who’s that lol, I haven’t heard that name ever called by the announcers
  12. We don’t have any young defensive players to spare we’re already super thin
  13. I agree and never question those people being true fans, just sayin' we should learn to cope and try to remain civil lol
  14. I get that we have PTSD from 2023 and first two weeks of 2024, and sucking since 2019 doesn't help. But are we really going to go into full meltdown every time Bryce or the offense have a poor showing? I think we need some serious therapy if we're going to get through this season, but then again winning cures everything. Yet even winning teams have dreadful games, so this message board is going to be one giant rollercoaster ride. Maybe we just need to get over the fact that Caleb Williams will probably play like an MPV under Ben Johnson and just take these 4 steps to recovery. 1. Impact Stage (or Initial Response) This is the immediate aftermath of a traumatic event, characterized by shock, fear, helplessness, and anxiety. This was us in 2023 after realizing that the entire team sucks and Bryce is not the superhuman point guard that can overcome an atrocious offensive line, having Chark and Mingo as your primary receivers and an aging Thielen as your only redeeming option. 2. Denial Stage (or Numbing): During this phase, individuals may downplay the impact of the trauma, try to avoid difficult emotions, or even deny that the event occurred. This is a coping mechanism to protect oneself from further mental anguish. Too many of us had a hard time accepting that we may have given up too much to draft Bryce. We made excuses for him, for the coaching staff, for the terrible roster decisions. We talk him up to be something he's not which will only delay the healing process when he struggles in some games. He's not a once in a generation type of QB who will take you to the promise-land without much supporting cast. 3. Intrusive/Repetitive Stage: As the denial phase subsides, individuals may experience intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, nightmares, and increased anxiety. This can be a very distressing stage, but it also signifies a willingness to confront the trauma. THIS IS WHERE WE ARE NOW: Every time Bryce or the offense have a poor showing, we experience flashbacks and increased anxiety producing reactionary tweets and full blown meltdowns. 4. Rescue/Processing Stage: In this stage, individuals start to come to terms with the traumatic event, potentially revisiting the location or ruminating on what happened. Feelings of confusion, despair, and anger may be present, and it's a time for beginning to process the trauma. But there's hope, because as we start winning again then the intrusive thoughts and flashbacks start to fade and may not completely disappear but they become more and more manageable. I believe Bryce can be a top 10 QB but as long as you accept the fact he'll need a complete and balanced team to win a Superbowl then we'll be OK. If anyone needs to be told, this isn't a Bryce bashing post, in fact it is the opposite of that. I believe in Bryce as a franchise QB, I have just come to realize that chasing the perfect QB is a recipe for decades of misery. I believe Bryce will have a really good year, but he will still have games that may cause us to have "flashbacks". Let's try to enjoy the ride, shall we? Cheers
  15. Personnel isn’t the issue, I will let you guess why else he may have turned down the job? What has been the one constant since 2018?
  16. I think am more concerned about this offense schematically than about QB or receivers. Even when Bryce makes a good throw the receivers are never able to gain YAC because they are marked so closely.
  17. — 38 points — 528 total yards — 31 first downs — 9-for-16 on third down
