  1. If the Panthers can’t shore up the Offensive Line, may need to consider sitting Bryce Young so he: 1. Avoids physical injury 2. Doesn’t get ruined mentally and starts getting happy feet like David Carr or Sam Darnold. One of his main assets is his composure and that won’t stay there if he is running for his life on every pass play.
  2. Thomas Brown should be given playcalling duties. Frank Reich should focus on getting this team ready to play. They look totally undisciplined and unprepared to play big boy football. Fix that offensive line Frank
  3. Yeah not looking any better tonight, thank God it’s not the Jets
  4. That defense is legit though, top 5 for sure. That goes a long way
  5. Unfortunately it may be. It also makes me question the glowing report outs from camp.
  6. Post your thoughts and reactions here about how Panthers are portrayed. Hearing Quinnien Williams brag about 10 sacks in joint practice seemed a bit over the top. But then again our offensive line is trash
  7. Just goes to show you, you can never draft enough offensive linemen for security. These guys get fat and happy if they don't feel competition coming.
  8. Notice who’s holding the pads
  9. Yes they’re my expectations and others clearly agree. Who are you to speak for what’s realistic? winning this weak division IS realistic
  10. Several of the recent posters don't understand the topic here. It's expectations of the season. All I'm saying is I'm not willing to lower my expectations for what this coaching staff and GM needs to achieve this year. This same offensive line won 7 games last year. This same defense has now been upgraded, so expect them to perform better this year. QB, while a rookie, is still supposed to be better and give us a better chance to win than Baker or Darnold, or PJ Walker, etc. etc. etc. That's the topic. Playoff or bust is the expectation.
  11. we're talking about expectations, try to keep up. If you expect this coaching staff to win 7 games like Wilks/Rhule with lesser talent and better coaching staff, then I don't know what to tell you.
  12. Haha some of you may be ok with giving the Bears a top 10 pick next year but I'm not. This fanbase loves mediocrity lol
  13. I feel like OL depth has become such a need across the NFL that you can get away half assing your way through the NFL and not have to work hard to get better.
  14. I'm pretty sure Fitt and Reich both said they're expecting to win this year. You're giving them a pass even when they say they should be competing for the division title?
  15. This is a fair point, I absolutely think Fitterer should be on the hot seat and be fired if this team underachieves and hands the Bears a top 5 or top 10 pick. I still think this coaching staff has enough pieces to have a winning record.
  16. Indeed - but I remember it felt way worse than Seifert's though.
