  1. True, but I think Horn and Marshall will also have immediate impact
  2. I still think Horn makes more immediate impact but this was great to see https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ranking-the-top-10-instant-impact-rookies-for-the-2021-nfl-season-kyle-pitts-jamarr-chase-head-of-the-class/ 6. Brady Christensen, OT, Panthers Have to get one offensive linemen in here, and I didn't want it to be a first-round pick. Too obvious. Quietly, Christensen is the likely Week 1 starter for the Panthers at left tackle, protecting Sam Darnold. Sure, he'll battle it out with 2019 second-round pick Greg Little, but the former Ole Miss star hasn't come close to meeting expectations early in his NFL career and has no connections to the current Carolina staff. Christensen's BYU film was pretty darn clean. And it should have been for a 24-year-old blocker with 38 games on his college resume. He moves well for his size and was a quality battler in pass protection with high-end balance.
  3. He basically said that before, anything past first 16, talent level drops to about the same as second round
  4. I think they would have drafted Lance if available
  5. Previw of things to come? https://instagram.com/stories/griffinz_23/2568421792160221278?igshid=136kaaqe5grzl
  6. I like them both for different reasons. Arnold for pass catching and Tremble for the nastiness he will bring in the run game
  7. Al Davis overdraftes for athleticism in 1st round. It’s exactly what you want to look for in an undrafted rookie. At least there is hope they may be able to developers him into a future contributor
  8. Explains why Tepper was so happy to talk to Christensen when he was finally drafted. I think that was a huge relief that he was still available.
  9. As I've stated before, I just hope Darnold isn't damaged psychologically and that he will gain confidence and his mojo under Rhule and Brady. I'm excited about the possibilities.
  10. That was intelligent analysis with actual substance
  11. It'll come down to money and where he thinks is best for him.
  12. Yes to this, I hope Christiansen starts but Leno would be good insurance policy
  13. Does Kuechly actually scout college players, I thought it was just scoutting opponents for upcoming games, etc.?
  14. Bold prediction - Shi Smith will turn some heads in camp. Reminds me of a young Steve Smith based on size, speed and style of play.
  15. True, but I like the bet that Rhule is placing on himself and his assistants, that they can coach and develop players and that's our ultimate competitive advantage. That's what he's done at Temple and Baylor, and he did it with a roster last year that was on paper supposed to be drafting Lawrence this year.
  16. Did you see the video of Brown playing basketball, he is quick for a big guy he just can't run for long. Keeping his weigh manageable (say around 325 lbs) will help.
  17. I agree with this. Darnold will be playing in a much better system, one in which Teddy passed for more than 3,500 yards. Justin Fields went where QBs go to die.
  18. You’re dating yourself, they’re not for high schoolers
  19. Can we have Rhule coach the Senior Bowl every year? It seems to have made an impact
  20. They had a good draft, but I think noodlearm Matt Ryan is their weakness. Play press coverand dare him to throw deep with Brown and Burns breathing down his neck
