  1. Sttoud was terrible yesterday, inaccurate. Taking too many hits really does affect one’s confidence and composure. I still think he’s already proven what he can be but it also shows what a fine line it is when you don’t have your weapons like Tank Dell or don’t trust your protection. He will bounce back btw, How this Texans team is in the playoffs is mind boggling
  2. Joe Brady is making quite a name for himself. He has really evolved as a coordinator, took the fall here unfortunately but glad to see he has used it to become quite a formidable assistant
  3. I always called out Thielen as the exception but he’s not someone you can target deep consistently due to lack of speed. But overall WR corps is very subpar, Coker will do well once he gets more experience. XL has been a disappointment to me, he started off promising but has regressed for whatever reason, could be his injury issue but concerned about his lack of ability to separate
  4. It’s kind of a WEE character nickname. I don’t think he likes it because of the reason for it, people losing their jobs because of losing to him and the lowly Panthers
  5. I love that he’s doing all this even after he’s been paid, shows integrity and character
  6. Penix looked impressive in his debut
  7. He actually said he would have thrown to Sanders where he had leverage in the red zone. Bryce just didn’t target him
  8. Showed some love to JT Sanders, says he’s A big fan
  9. You have to learn as a team how to win, it doesn’t automagically happen when you restart next year. It’s not Madden i still think we lose to the Bucs and Falcons because they’re desperate to win the division which means we’ll be back at #5 probably
  10. Good take, we couldn't even enjoy Cam's prime years because people always found faults with his game.. not accurate enough, not enough touch, doesn't throw with anticipation, not a leader. You don't know what you have until it's gone.
  11. We’ll be back at pick #5. We’re not good enough to beat the Bucs or Falcons away who are desperate and battling for the division.
  12. Bryce would 100% exceed what Bo is doing in that offense, I have zero doubt.
  13. A franchise QB in my mind is someone you feel good about giving a second contract to. Will he ever be on level of Mahomes, Lamar, or Josh Allen? Not even close, but those are unicorns. If you're chasing those you're usually going to swing and miss and be bottom dwellers. I am frankly tired of that. We had Baker and Darnold and didn't have enough patience with either of them even though they're clearly franchise caliber QBs. I think Drake Maye can be that guy, I do wish sometimes that we were able to draft him, a local kid and all. But I am just happy that there's hope with Bryce and this coaching staff. Let's build the roster and see how it goes next year.
  14. Looks fairly balanced actually, a couple of those deeper throws were drops. Do I need to post Bo Nix's passing chart from Thursday? It was 80% checkdowns or behind the LOS yet everyone praises him and Payton for being offensive gurus. Bryce would have better numbers if our team can actually run a screen, but we get almost no YAC with those. This is the offense we have at the moment. I do think Bryce can do more once he gets more weapons that can threaten consistently down the field. XL was supposed to be that guy but we shall see
  15. Once you can forget what we gave up for him and just look at him for what he is you start to appreciate what he can be and that he gives the team a chance to win. Was he worth the trade? No. Can he still help the team win and be the franchise QB? I think Yes. He's shown he has the ability in moments to be more than just a "game manager". He made some big time plays yesterday and over the last few week. If he can do that consistently for 4 quarters, he becomes a true difference maker.
  16. Bryce Young was the highest graded player for the Panthers against the Cardinals per PFF with a grade of 93.0 4 big time throws (a pass w/ excellent ball location and timing, generally thrown further down the field and/or into a tighter window) 0 turnover-worthy throws
  17. This is true, but he did his job within the framework that's all you can ask for. The gameplan worked
  18. Wait until all the Bryce haters wake up haha Bryce would have been a perfect score yesterday if not for a couple of throws. One was not throwing it to Thielen in the middle of the field and the 3rd and 2 on the last drive of regulation. He rushed that throw and needs to set his feet and complete it. He still has a long way to go to reach his potential, needs to get more consistent but yesterday was a great way to bounce back from 4 turnovers last week. 3 TDs, 0 turnovers, 226 total yards. Solid day.
  19. Me too, shouldn't be trucking people with his throwing shoulder but it shows he's got that competitive fire in him.
