I could see Tepper moving the team.
Stuart Smith replied to Brent Gregory's topic in Carolina Panthers
I live 120 miles up 1-85-40 from Bank of America Stadium. There are plenty of people around me that have had PSL’s from day 1. As fast as North Carolina is growing there are plenty of people to support a winning team that are willing to drive well over 75 miles. -

It is 120 miles from where I live to Bank of America Stadium. I travel to a game down I-85 on game day I see others from my area who have PSL’s. (If they haven’t sold them) NC does have a large tv audience for the Panthers. The Carolina’s have been cursed with ownership groups with both the Hornets and the Panthers. -
A lot of replacement players who otherwise might not have seen the field are getting an opportunity. Hoping that someone can show promise. Donte Jackson needs to be replaced for sure.

Evidence of Tepper meddling in football operations?
Stuart Smith replied to TeppersEgos's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes. He has been less visible the last couple of years and that has helped. However, over the years he has forced some trades that hurt the team. He also has had Charles Oakley Banned from MSG because he was critical of the Knicks. A lot of players will not play in NY because of him. He has some type of facial recognition installed so he can see if someone he doesn’t like enters MSG. The Knicks are off to an awful start this year. -

You must know I am a Knicks fan and a Panther fan. Lucky me. -
Selling a home and the related commisions

That can be true, but in some markets demand is so high that your circle of friends can help find you a buyer without ever listing it. -
Selling a home and the related commisions
Stuart Smith replied to Cullenator's topic in Huddle Lounge
In my humble opinion I suspect that is one reason national firms such as “Open Door” and others have been successful at penetrating the home buying market. People see another way than paying high commissions to their local real estate sales people when they have other options. -
Minnesota.

I don’t see anyone beating their chest. What I see are fans glad Bryce shows improvement and put us in a position to win. I see an offensive coordinator who knows how to move the ball around. Baby steps, but a positive day. We usually lose this type game.

We need an offensive line that can protect a quarterback.

I would fire Reich at 0-7

The lack of urgency in preseason with all the new faces was a red flag for me. You have a rookie quarterback who needs to be on the field. -
Trade Burns? Why? You have a GM who can’t evaluate the value of draft picks acquired. The same GM can’t evaluate talent talent. Wait until the next GM and let him make the decision. It will not be long.

If Tepper is smart he goes after Jim Harbaugh.
Stuart Smith replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper needs to hire a proven team President and let them make football decisions on coaching hires, football related issues. He needs to look after his other “Apppaloosa” business. Of course, we know that won’t happen. We need to see what Thomas Brown does. -

He has to know his decisions to date have not been Good. Whether he ever decides to hire some competent football people and listen to them instead of micromanaging is the larger question. -

I always felt Tyrod Taylor was a decent quarterback. I believe he is as good as Geno Smith. I also believe this will be Rivera’s swan song in Washington. -
Let's Talk second round WR prospects...
Stuart Smith replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
Need to see more of him. The NCAA did him a great disservice by not allowing him to play earlier. This will be his best year to show what he can do with Maye. -
If he had played in the preseason it might have helped. His first 3 games were basically his preseason.

Offense has put defense in terrible shape on several occasions. Turnovers giving other team short field.

I have been long suffering with Fitterer. I have defended questionable moves and honestly blamed most of it on Rhule. However, it is obvious now that Fitterer is not capable of evaluating talent.
