How tall was Drew Brees?

Is it possible that teams could look at todays results in the NFL and realize it is worth a draft choice to select a Field Goal Kicker? It seems that most teams try to use recycled well traveled kickers with mixed results.

Snow should have been on the bus with Joe Brady.

No serious injuries we know of.

Week 1 General Discussions - Talk to me about the Browns
Stuart Smith replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Exactly right. I look for them to be run dominant. -
Some of the linemen and signings this year will need to be resigned more than likely. We will more than likely need to resign Baker. Even with Darnold off the books it will take a creative front office to keep our core together. I hope Baker works out so we can build the Defensive line interior.

Does anyone else think we could win the South?
Stuart Smith replied to Stuart Smith's topic in Carolina Panthers
I honestly believe that was the reason the Panthers acquired Laviska Shenault. I may be wrong, but I would not be surprised if he was used in the backfield some. -

I hope that CMC is not over used, he wants to be in on every play. I think Rhule has learned by now we need to develop options if McCaffrey gets injured again. -
Tampa has Tom trouble and has lost a few pieces, Atlanta is in full rebuild, New Orleans still has Jameis. (after also losing in the Watson sweepstakes.) I honestly believe this Panther team has enough pieces to win the division. I just hope the injury bug stays away.

Panthers trade Dennis Daley to Titans

I have a feeling he’s the new Chubba. -
Panthers trade for wide receiver Laviska Shenault
Stuart Smith replied to joemac's topic in Carolina Panthers
The biggest complaint from Jacksonville fans is that he dropped a lot of catchable passes. I am sure film of him was looked at before the trade was made. We will find out if this was sour grapes from Jacksonville fans or not. -
I think his contract expires after this season. Some correct me if I’m wrong, but I think we will have dead money in we cut Erving now.

I would keep Mays over Dennis Dailey. We shall see.

Baker Could Be our “Brees”
Stuart Smith replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
I too believe Fitterer is a legitimate GM. Has he made mistakes? Yes, but it looks like he has learned. The question I have is about player acquisition and draft picks. I wonder if players are chosen by Fitterer and approved by Rhule, or it is by draft picks and free agent signings by committee? While Rhule may have the final approval I believe Fitterer does his homework. -
Corral vs the rest of the rookie field
Stuart Smith replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
The focus was on Baker-Darnold. I would wager that other quarterbacks mentioned have had more coaching than Corral. If he is able to recover and develop into a solid backup It will not be a wasted pick. It looks like Baker was taking him under his wing. Odds are that Baker will be #1 next year anyway. -
Abdullah we should have kept, he could catch!

I see I am not alone in remembering Chubba was Rhule’s wife’s pick. Joke on draft night because he did so well against Baylor.

I wonder if Cade Mays could do a better job at center than Eflein, you have to wonder.

Will it be smart for the Panthers to think about drafting a quarterback in the next draft?
