  1. We do need to resign Bozeman ASAP. We also need to find out if Cade Mays can make a decent rotation piece on the OL.
  2. Regardless of how the remainder of the season goes, it is the consensus of most that the Panthers first draft pick will be a quarterback. What positions should the Panthers put a priority on for the remaining picks?
  3. Stroud, Young, or Hooker. I do not see another quarterback I would draft with a top 5 pick. It is early to annoint PJ yet, a lot of football left. However, it will sure be interesting if he continues to shine.
  4. Truthfully D.J. Should not have taken his helmet off. However, the problem I have with the penalty being called is that it is not consistently called across the league.
  5. In all fairness Butker has had some rough going a few times. The one I miss is Gano.
  6. Unlike Darnold and Mayfield, PJ is the only quarterback I have watched that did not have “happy feet.” I honestly think that helped his accuracy and velocity last week. I hope the first mistake he makes he does not get yanked. I want Wilkes to have enough faith in him to let him play until we see him succeed or fail and honestly can say he had his chance.
  7. We could have traded up to get Herbert. You could lose out and get the #1 pick, but if your GM does not make wise draft picks you will be in the same predicament year after year. Drafting is part skill set and part luck. I think this year will be a good barometer of Fitterers capability, assuming he is still here.
  8. I agree. There is a lot of football to be played yet, we will see how it plays out. However, I agree with you about Campen and Chris Tabor. They have made a positive difference. I do hate to think about losing them with a coaching change. I think this next game with Atlanta may tell us a lot.
  9. I agree with this post. However, it is worth noting that unlike the 3-0 start with Darnold it appears we finally have a franchise Left tackle and the offensive line appears solid. We have some key pieces in place. This team has more talent than people give them credit for.
  10. Some of us are Boomers. We want to win now, or see our team give their best effort. I don’t want to drive halfway across the state to see a team play that is not trying to win. A good GM can build a team without “tanking.”
  11. Hooker does not hardly ever throw an interception.
  12. If Fitt drafts a quarterback that will be a legitimate NFL starter he will help his case. If he misses he will probably be at Gaston College with Rhule.
  13. “Trading back” is not always wise. We obviously need to use the #1 pick on a quarterback. If we have a superstar WR or linebacker available at #2 we need to fill those positions. We actually may not know how Good the receivers on the roster are until we have a quarterback that can get them the ball.
  14. I know it’s Hendon. Spellcheck. Dad is hall of fame at NC A@T, brother plays there. Quarterback, but not starter.
  15. I don’t understand this. If you are that afraid of PJ he does not need to be on the roster.
  16. Wherever the Panthers pick I hope Herndon Hooker is there! NC native at that.
  17. 1432 yards passing this year for Hendon Hooker. NO interceptions. This young man is from NC, Dudley H.S. In Greensboro. 10 passing TD’s, 239 consecutive passes without an interception. His father was a quarterback at NC A&T University, school hall of fame. p
  18. Look at his touchdown to interception comparison. He is very accurate. From Dudley High School in Greensboro.
  19. You ever notice the teams that “tank” often “tank” on a regular basis? You give your best effort and often good things happen.
  20. If someone can coach CJ to turn around it will help.
  21. I hope now we can find out if that was truly Fitt or he was doing what he was told. I honestly believe he may be ok, but we have got to quit trading draft picks.
