  1. I would not be surprised to see Shaw resign at a team friendly deal and also drafting someone.
  2. I like Hooker, but he Will be 25 in a month. (Same age as Sam) In addition he is coming offa season ending injury.
  3. San Francisco lost Garrapolo for the season today. Mr. Irrelevant of the 2022 draft was the only quarterback they had left. Brock Purdue from Iowa State went 25 for 37 with over 200 yards passing. Last player drafted in 2022. Dang, we should be able to find a quarterback in the draft.
  4. I would love to see Hendon Hooker do well. The reservation I have about him is that by training camp he will be 25 and coming off an injury. I would love to see him succeed, especially since he is a NC native.
  5. He will. Several of them have birthdays before draft. Good point.
  6. Looking at quarterbacks on roster and potential quarterbacks that will probably be in the draft I think it is interesting to look at their age. PJ Walker-27 Baker Mayfield-27 Matt Carral-23 Sam Darnold-25 Bryce Young-21 CJ Stroud-21 Will Levi’s 23 Sam Hartman-23 Hendon Hooker 24 Anthony Richardson 21 i think it is fair to ask where these young men will be in their ability to quarterback an NFL team by age 25. Obviously one of the most important factors will be the coaching staff of the team that drafts them. If most of these players “sit and learn” for a year before getting any significant playing time it adds a year to their age. I have to wonder how many of these players have the potential to be better than Sam Darnold is right now at age 25. I am Not advocating for Sam Darnold, just saying there is a lot to think about before draft day.
  7. One place I hope the Panthers really reinforce is the offensive and defensive lines. The ability to run the ball successfully is demoralizing to the opponent. We need depth.
  8. I do not see any names that make me feel more comfortable than Wilkes. The players respond to him.
  9. I just hope that whoever the Panthers draft is vetted carefully for character issues, leadership traits, taking instruction, willing to learn, the intangibles. There have been so many washouts who had the physical traits but were not successful.
  10. I may be in the minority but I had rather work for Tepper than Jerry Jones. The Spanos family appears to be squabbling over control of the team. I actually think if you won in Carolina you might have a reasonable amount of security as a coach.
  11. This draft will tell us what Fitts is about. I think he has learned a lot.
  12. Yes! (But please vett them throughly for leadership and off field issues . I.E. Zach Wilson)
  13. Eason is gone, but honestly He had to be at least as good as Baker.
  14. Offensive play calling is as bad or worse than the quarterback.
  15. This defense is playing lights out. Offense needs to help a little bit.
  16. Need some 1st downs so as not to wear the defense out.
  17. Corral may not be good, but I still think we need a bigger sample size with a decent OL.
  18. I just find it hard to believe we will not take a quarterback in the first round even if we trade up.
  19. No one on this list jumps out as being head and shoulders above Wilkes. The rest of the season will tell us a lot.
  20. We don’t know what goes on in the locker room. It appears the players like PJ and want him to have a chance. As long as I see the team effort I will go with Wilkes.
  21. You need a mauler at center. I am so tired on seeing this team get in the “Red Zone” and having to either pass or do an end around run because we could not get enough push to impose our will on the defense. We need Bozeman.
