I I agree we need more depth. Moton has not missed a game in forever. If these injuries had happened earlier we would have been hurting for sure.

With injuries to Brady Christensen and Austin Corbett is the offensive line a concern for next season? Will they be ready? Hopefully we resign Bozeman.

Remember there were defensive coaches fired and not replaced late in the season, could be something to consider. Also injuries. -

Scott Fowler Observer column on coaching hire

I don’t know if it would have made a difference on defense, but if I remember correctly he let a couple of coaches go on the defensive side and did not replace them. -
If you are going to try to sign a vet with the same ability as Shaq then just restructure to get his contract in line. Players who stay with the team that drafted them usually have ties to the community. It may not seem like much, I know it is a business. However, if I knew a team was being fair with me and I would not have to move my family It would be important to me.

If you put J’Mar Chases and Tee Higgins on the Panthers even Sam would look better. Chase looks like a man among boys.

He wasn’t the day the Panthers beat Detroit.

No way. You seriously think Wilkes would take DC position after being turned down for head coach?

Watching Sam Howell for Washington, wishing we could trade Sam’s. We have missed opportunities while Rhule was here.

Receivers not getting separation. Is that on them or the O.C? Just asking.

Official Panthers at Saints let's get this over with GameDay thread

I had a wild thought. Could the plan to not play Burns be to see what the DL looked like if someone offered a crazy trade package for him? -

Let Bountygate go somewhere else. Josh Norman trying to cover receivers from his coffee shop. -

Receivers no separation, are they trying to get open? -

Exactly. Michael Jordan should not be on the roster. -

Jim Harbaugh flirting with the Carolina Panthers UPDATE
Stuart Smith replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
A similar thought has crossed my mind. I am not a “Sam lover” or a “Sam Hater.” The facts are that Sam has the tools to be a very good quarterback. He has shown marked improvement this year regardless of what the haters say. We have put a lot of work in Sam to just let him walk and start for someone else. That would truly show how inept this franchise is. I believe Harbaugh had looked at film and this factors into his thinking. -
Wilks Set This Team Back
Stuart Smith replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wilkes did what he could to make this team the best it could be. He came within a couple of plays of having the Panthers winning the division. A terrible call on a player for taking off his helmet, one stop by a cornerback against Tampa and this is a different conversation. Wilkes is doing what any of us would have done, trying to save his job or have a worthwhile resume for his next landing place. If Fitterer (or whoever the GM is) does their job as well as Wilkes has this team will be in a much better place to start next season than we were this season. the -

I would like to know if the comments by Bart Scott were the way he really felt or someone above his pay grade was aware of what he was going to say and encouraged it. We may never know.

Rapoport and Pelissero talk head coach openings
Stuart Smith replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Something that people overlook about Tom Brady’s (poor for Brady’s Standards) year is the fact that he did not have the same personnel to work with. He missed Gronk perhaps more than anyone, his replacement was terrible. No matter the quarterback you have to have him quality weapons. If Sam Darnold had Mike Evans, J’Mar Chase, or Justin Jefferson he would have look much better. One example is how much better Kirk Cousins did with Justin Jefferson. Maybe it’s the Panthers receivers as much as the quarterback. -
Meanwhile Taylor Moton never misses a game.
