    The man put his body on the line in that Clemson game and played injured while crushing that team. He has a desire to win and was pissed at dropping in the draft. That was a “I’m going to make you regret passing on me” look. There is nothing wrong with that. I hope he does well in Chicago, but I hope Horn becomes the next Revis even more!

    I’d prefer Newman later as a backup/development guy. With the right coaching I think he has some potential.

    Certain WRs as in the only ones he faced? You really have no clue... He played 30 games and only ONE WR has over 50 yards. It was the best WR in college and he had 60 yards. You may be upset with the pick, but stats don’t lie.

    Our staff may see Slater as a G. I’m ok with the Horn pick. I look forward to finally have a decent secondary with a pass rush.

    Be reasonable and give him a few games to learn the speed of the NFL. Many analysts have him as the top CB in this draft.

    He shut down every WR he faced in the loaded SEC. Only one had over 50 yards.     That’s with any draft pick. If you pick a CB in the top 10 you are thinking he is a shutdown corner. He definitely was in college and has the pedigree, height, speed, and attitude to be. Only weakness I see is he can be too handsy, but he’ll most “shut down” CBs are handsy, they just don’t get called.
