Bring in Trey Lance to compete. Draft a mid to late guy as QB3 if the value is right.

So I think he does play it on certain packages, they just aren’t that common. Yeah I’d like it to me more flexible myself.

Does Baker count as far as playing great? Or Goff? It sounds like aside from Burrow they just needed different teams.

I also like the blatant hold on DB within the first couple seconds that was ignored.

They asked about it and the answer was we play primary zone defense so having Horn shadow changes the whole scheme for everyone. Seattle ran this with Sherman he never switched sides. Evero has almost indirectly mentioned us not having a good enough defense yet from our pass rush to our secondary to leave players in man. So he is using Horn to take away a section of the field and making adjustments around the rest. I’m not sure I 100% agree, but it does make sense and provides a legit reason IMO.

Yep the 10 games he played without Brady he was barely getting 50 yards a game and then he retired because he knew it was downhill from there.

We can’t do anything about the QB anytime soon. He will keep getting chances, especially if we keep winning.

Yeah he was a great pickup by our front office on a cheap deal. They also turned this defense from historically bad to maybe dare I say decent? Oh and we actually have some OL depth as we have had more different lineups than any team in the league. Good job Morgan and Tillis!

Crying about a player within a hour of one of our best road wins maybe wins in general in a while is ridiculous. Just relax and enjoy it. We haven’t seen this in a minute.

They were worse. All backups assume from Icky with one OG being third string. Dalton had Mays, Moton, and BC for part of it.

I thought he got married like a year after his was drafted? He also has the same attitude it just works when the team is backing it up with wins and he is playing great.

Henry would be an outlier and a future HoF RB. Using him as a standard should be malpractice. They also don’t have another expensive RB to pair with him like we would.

They aren’t doing a 3rd for a RB rental. A 4th is great value this point in the season.

You want them to sign a 28 year old RB to pair with the 27 year old one we just signed? Remember people wanted Foreman paid with us and he disappeared from the league a year later. Don’t sign older RBs, especially in a contract year. We probably shouldn’t have signed Chuba either as we are already looking at the next RB to sign.

I don’t think his production is sustainable with a banged up OL and better defenses on the horizon. Like I said his value will never be higher. So I’m taking that into consideration along with the drop off in value from Rico vs a healthy Chuba/ETN.

No one is giving a 3rd for a RB rental for half a season. So your other option is letting him walk for nothing next year.

Getting value for a RB that was always a one year rental is smart. He turns 28 before next year and is in a contract year. It’s not like we have no depth behind him. Chuba was a bogus holding call from XL away from having a solid game and we need to see what we have in ETN. Our OL is made for run blocking and Rico feasted on some terrible defenses. He played great and his value will never be higher. Selling high is not short sighted IMO. Especially on a RB who won’t be here next year.
