    Oakland’s defense played pretty poorly too. I think fans are just excited because there is a chance we can be competitive again on Sundays. The Bengals probably beat us, but with Dalton we probably beat bad teams more times than not IMO. I still see the 6 wins and will happily take them.

    Luke just said he is a firm believer that a majority of the NFL would have taken Bryce at 1 as well. He has been a scout. Look they got it wrong and it’s far from the first time this has happened. I don’t know why it’s so mind boggling?

    Stroud was linked to Reich’s style of QB. That’s the reason he was originally projected to go here. Young was still the consensus QB1 in that draft. I don’t know why some people refuse to believe this. Luke just said in his recent interview most teams would have taken Bryce 1. Vegas had Stroud, Bryce, Levis, and Bryce again. See how it jumped around. It’s not some fortune teller. I just posted an article on how a majority of the picks right after Bryce went against Vegas odds. Again Vegas just wants to make money. They could care less about anything else.

    Oh yeah something got leaked during draft month lol. Something gets leaked all the time and it’s usually a lie. Everyone knew Levis wasn’t going 1. It got more people betting.     I understand that and who knows what was said between him and Fitt. Once the decision was made he will obviously “back” it. It’s not getting out that they are in disagreement on an important decision.

    I don't think he was, but I am also taking the "he backed his boss's decision on X" with a grain of salt. We will just have to see how different it looks with him actually running the show.

    I'm just looking at when he was the actual GM. Backing a decision his boss made is a kind of gray area IMO.

    Scott is out backup to Fuller who is out. Who is our 3rd string safety? With Chase and Higgins poor safety play could be awful...

    We traded back with our 2nd first to get the Rams 2nd next year. So it was more like Burns for Brooks plus a 2nd next year plus $30 million free in cap space which was used to sign players like Clowney and Hunt.

    Doesn’t Dalton’s current contract have voided years? I think that makes it difficult to extend him after this year.
