Chase doesn’t even get doubled that much anymore. Higgins is a legit WR. A little big of an injury history though…

Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson
ForJimmy replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Antonio Brown, Leveon Bell, JuJu, Mike Wallace, etc... all struggled when they left. The Steelers let them walk for a reason. -
Sure there were some good ones, but the ratings coming in every week let us see that the interior was failing pretty miserably. Inconsistent OL is terrible for a rookie QB. No one was hating on the OL these first two weeks when Young still looked bad because they did their job. It's why I am kind of leaning towards drafting a QB this year. Our OL is pretty solid (probably Moton's last year), we have young weapons to develop/grow with the QB in XL, Coker, Brooks, JT, and sure Mingo for shits and giggles. Our defense will probably be bad still but I feel like it's quicker and easier to turn that around once you get a QB.

I was under the impression he had good arm strength just struggled reading defenses at OSU. Good to know. Yeah he is a undrafted QB at this point if he even signs anywhere...

Just get a good return for it. I don't want to drop too low for a meh return. I'd love the get the Raiders to part with Crosby and some picks for it (wishful thinking). My dream would be trading the Raiders for the haul I mentioned, they get Sanders and we still land Ward. There is also a chance our staff falls for Ward.

Try to trade back with a team in love with a QB should be Plan A. If you don't get a good enough offer and like Ward as a franchise QB then you take him. If you aren't sold on a QB you have to draft BPA which might be Hunter at WR?? I don't see a pass rusher that's a clear cut number 1 at this point. If that changes then you take that player... You have to walk away with a franchise player if you are picking there.

Who is our great player you are wanting us to pay? We paid DB who can be a cornerstone player you build around. I agree with paying great players. DJ isn’t a great player though. He is a good WR2 who also isn’t the best for a locker room. Throwing teammates under the bus, giving up on routes. These aren’t the type of players you extend while struggling. -

Our team is the worst in the league. We don't have many good players that are worth overbidding on for a second contract. You do what the Lions did. Auction off players for picks and build a new core through the draft. Chuba is good, but looks better because of our pricey OL. -
REPORT: Panthers will not trade Chuba Hubbard

Jewell looks like he is healthy again. He would make sense. He played under Evero for several years in Denver so he should be familiar with it. It will also help Wallace to have a veteran like him playing beside him. -

He did this in Pitt too. They traded him off while needing another WR. Not to mention no one else on our roster is acting like DJ. Get frustrated on the field and yeah I get it, it’s an emotional game. Complain to the press during an interview and giving up on routes (he is part of the problem he is crying about) are just dumb IMO. Not something you want during a hopeful “culture change.” -
Yeah I was hoping he might be a possibility for late round project QB but he is stinking it up….

They are renting him as a WR2 for the rest of the season. Let’s see what we get in return for him…. -

Yeah and if we want to overpay a WR we are better off throwing money at Higgins in the offseason. He is much better. -
I like him, but I'm not getting excited until we actually draft a QB. I was all fired up when get traded up about Stroud and @LinvilleGorge warned me not to get attached to a player before the draft.

Cool so instead of scoring 7 we score 0. We still get a pick and remove a veteran who is setting a terrible example. You do see him giving up on routes right? Guess who also has the most INTs when targeted in the league out of WRs? I will give you a hint, he is a Panthers but not XL, Mingo, or Coker.... -
What would a successful game for Young look like?
ForJimmy replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah if you can't operate in a pocket, defenses will seal those edges and try to make you. Both is ideal, some can survive just in the pocket if they know how to maneuver well in it. Brees actually excelled at that which is why he isn't a good comparison.... -

Coker actually looks good, but are you expecting us to look a lot worse without DJ? We are looking historically bad. Might as well develop some young guys if we are going to get demolished every week... -

With the amount we have spent on OL we shouldn't have to pay for RBs. Just draft a RB2 with a late pick to play behind Brooks or sign a cheap one. -
Maybe Plummer is just that bad….
