  1. So the Colts fans were complaining about his predictable play calling as well. It followed him to Carolina. The Colts also immediately looked better when they replaced him the following year. His staff (some of which HE picked) were going behind his back because they no longer believed in him and his players gave up on him. Reich was 100% part of the problem. He constantly called WR screens to his oldest, slowest WR to the tune of doing it even when he was on the bench and having to use a time out. Come on now, he isn't some poor victim here....
  2. Reich agreed to the staff and it's one of the reasons he got the job over Wilks. Also Duce Staley was a Reich hire and he is one of the main ones who went behind his back in frustration (yeah a vet assistant coach that he picked was frustrated at him. Doesn't really sound like he is innocent to me). I'm not giving the man a pass for failing miserable at a job he signed up for. Roll out Bryce, do some presnap shifts, do some run heavy offense with play action in there. He kept it predictable and boring to the tune of defenses knowing the exact routes. Yeah Bryce limits the offense, but go out swinging. Reich was just collecting his check and the players (and some staff) knew it.
  3. Maybe he didn't realize what he signed up for, but the man straight up gave up. Yeah he was in a tough spot but he was given a lot of cash to attempt to do a job he wasn't really interested in doing after a game or two. You have the players give up on you and you can't keep your job.
  4. I think he is a better weapon. TMac only has 2 games this season with TDs. Yeah Hunter has a NFL QB throwing to him, but still you get him enough looks and he will make some plays. I’d prefer Hunter with his explosiveness and fire he plays with. TMac is solid though.
  5. If Morgan is wanting a dawg he picks Hunter. Hunter never really has an off game and is a competitor/playmaker. Also if you are picking Hunter this high you make him a WR/weapon on offense. I think in this scenario we would have signed a vet QB before the draft. Hunter, XL, Coker, Brooks, and JT could be fun.
  6. He lost the staff and locker room. I know there were things out of his control, but he pretty much gave up. I do miss the screens to AT, even when he is on the bench.
  7. I hate that I put too instead of two and can’t fix it…
  8. Big school OL late, too solid pass rushers, a mid round CB that could be our CB2 sooner than later, safety help, a shifty WR later in Horn (possible special teams immediate help), oh and a potential franchise QB in there. I’m loving it!
  9. Also keep in mind our DL isn’t great so OL are probably getting through making our LBs life more difficult. Especially a rookie one. Having DB back next year will make life easier on Jewell and Wallace. I know Luke loved having Star up front keeping guys off him.
  10. Double digit tackles his first couple starts. I thought he caused that goal line fumble but I could be wrong. Athletically he has everything you want. He was considered pretty raw and needing time to develop at this level. The fact that he is playing and contributing now is impressive. Looks like he had a bad game which is expected thus early. 9.5 RAS score. He might be slowing down on the field to try to figure it out. https://x.com/MathBomb/status/1763379469765488690?lang=en
  11. I feel like we invested in this OL, took a RB that can catch high in the draft, drafted a pass catching TE, and a big target WR to better evaluate Bryce AKA help the QB. Now we know Bryce isn’t the answer but we still have this whole “evaluation” setup on offense which could be good for a rookie QB. It’s not a bad time to draft one honestly. Maybe sign a vet WR and extend BC and your offense should be ready to grow with a young QB. Use FA and the rest of the draft on defense.
  12. It wasn’t directed at you. I’m talking about the people acting like it happened over the offseason just to fix the OL. You have been spot on.
  13. Yeah the biggest fallacy is our defense being great last year and suddenly "gutted" this offseason. Our defense couldn't stop the run last year. Then we lost Burns, gained Clowney and Wonnum, lost Luvu, gained Jewell, Lost Bell, gained Fuller, lost Donte, gained Dane, also gained Robinson on the DL. The problem is our injuries... DB, Wonnum, Dane, Shaq, Jewell, Clowney, Fuller and Tuttle all have missed significant time with some missing the whole season. That's 8 players who were all penciled to be starters on a team with no depth.
  14. I think it's pretty universal that Sanders and Ward are the top 2 QBs in this draft. People may not like him because of his dad, but he is talented.
  15. I'm not against drafting a QB depending on who we can get in FA. I kind of like Ward as of now, but a lot can change... Edge is a huge need, I'm just not sure there is one worth the top pick. If we trade down it really opens up our options.
  16. Trading up is the last thing we need to do IMO…
  17. It worked out well for the Chargers too. Got Rivers plus some picks. Tell whoever is itching to get Sanders to draft Ward and offer us Ward, a young player, and some picks.
  18. I want Godwin in the slot as our vet, XL, and Coker on the outside. Godwin also knows DC’s system. Offer BC a cheap extension and our offense might be pretty set. This is assuming we draft a QB early…
  19. And no one picked him up in the entire league. Still signed by us and now is on our active roster.
  20. We were a complete cluster when he got here. When he got here we were the worst team in the league who just drafted Young and Mingo in the top of the previous draft. We had no 1st and still have no 2nd and our cap situation wasn’t great. Yeah he was probably offered a HC job a year too early but you have to give him some time. This isn’t a quick fix. This current draft class is showing a little promise, let’s see if they can stack another solid one next draft.
  21. It’s kind of a young offensive core in XL, Coker, Brooks, and JT to grow behind a decent vet OL. Not the worst idea. We need to spend some money on defense in FA and other picks. I wouldn’t mind bring in a vet WR like Godwin as well to help a young QB plus he knows DC’s offense already.
  22. Yeah I think he was playing hurt last year. He had that groin injury before the season started. He is a decent back. Nothing special or anything but decent.
