  1. Yeah I was agreeing with you. His stats are pretty impressive, but he is still a risk and somewhat of an unknown.
  2. It’s easy to make decisions when Smith is wide open in front of you.
  3. I like Fields better honestly. Better size, speed, competition, no injury concerns...
  4. It will be good to see how Mac can throw downfield. I wouldn’t go crazy if we get him, I’d just prefer Fields or Lance by a wide margin. Now if they are on the board and we pick Mac over them, I might cry a little...
  5. They had one case? It made Hill drop in the draft. I personally wouldn’t want to see either of them as a Panther. However, Watson has now 22 cases? Big difference...
  6. Potential and ability to be the best QB in the draft. It’s definitely a gamble, but if he hits his potential..... look out NFL.
  7. He ran a 4.4, says he wants to be in the 4.3s for his Pro Day. 4.2 isn’t happening.
  8. Jackson getting that much money makes sense why we didn’t sign him. Love how our defense is shaping up! Could still use a CB, FS, and another DT.
  9. Aren’t these Teddy attributes? We need someone with arm strength that can stretch the field also. Keeps the defense honest and helps CMC see less players in the box.
  10. More than likely for worse. I’d be ok with this if we have a Lance or Fields behind him.
  11. I guess that (while nothing that big of a deal) was on camera. The Watson thing is just accusations right now with no presented evidence. Once the NFL or courts make some sort of decision on this, then the sponsors may have an easier time terminating the contracts.
  12. It’s a bad look for any team that trades for him right now. It’s not going to be cleared up by the draft so if someone trades for him they are ok with all of these accusations. It could also have a very bad locker room effect on the team he goes to.
  13. I’d honestly prefer Fields or Lance over Wilson. I think they have more potential, no injury concerns, and NFL bodies.
  14. Oh yeah the line should still be addressed, especially with Tua’s injury history. LT just wouldn’t be as important as it usually is. Still prefer Fields and Lance, but I don’t think this is a terrible option. Should also cost us less draft capital to acquire him if Miami pursues another option.
  15. Let’s not derail this topic with Watson crap. The Tinderbox is where that belongs. This thread is about Sam Donaldson.... wait?
  16. Our line graded out average and Davis was one of the better RBs at making something out of nothing. He had the best in the business in CMC for several games then got Davis who was one of the top backs and getting yards after contact. DJ, Anderson, and Samuel were one of the better 3 set WRs. Two of the got over 1000 yards and Samuel just got paid after his year. Our offense needed a TE and could have used an upgrade at LT (wasn’t bad when Okung played) but comparing them to the Jets..... not even close. I want Fields or Lance even if it involves a trade up. I wouldn’t complain if we got Tua some how. Staying put with Teddy is probably my least favorite option. I could maybe get on board if we overhaul our line. However buying low on Darnold, trading Teddy, and getting a Mond, Mills, or Newman in the later rounds would be another option. Not ideal, but we would save money (assuming we trade Teddy). Darnold can start with Mills, Mond, or Newman developing behind him. If he does terrible and we aren’t convinced by whoever we draft we try to get our guy in the next draft. I’m just saying it’s another option that just trying again with the same guy who couldn’t get a game winning drive in like 8 attempts last year after being in the league like 5 years.
  17. I don’t think it affects the line and receivers that much. Vick was lefty and so was Steve Young. The Eagles players looked better than ever Vick’s first year and the Niners didn’t miss a beat when Young became their starter. These guys are the best of the best a minor tweak like that won’t hurt then too much. Plus Tua is young and would be leaning our system. It would take a year or two for the offense to hit its stride regardless more than likely.
