Broncos and Niners are rumored wanting to trade up just off the top of my head.
-
I’m the same way with Fields or Lance. They just have so much potential. I want to see what our staff can do with a raw player that talented.
-
I think a lot of players had issues in the Big 10 with the late start and constant delay/canceling of games due to COVID. It’s another reason why I’m high on Fields. He had a couple bad games in a very unusual year. He was great his previous year and still had plenty of solid games and flashes of greatness this year.

Josh Allen has great explosiveness for a QB. Lance is bigger that Hurts with a stronger arm. He might not be as fast, but he has the ability to be a much better QB.

Any relation to Danny?
-
It’s a shame. The man had a huge opportunity...
-
People are waaaaaay too attached to these athletes....
-
Yeah, did he have multiple? Regardless he was pushed through way too quickly for the freaking Supreme Court.

I’m talking about rich people getting accused of sexual assault by a large number of victims, see Matt Lowery, Bill O’Reily, Harvey Weinstein. Again he will get a chance to defend himself, but it doesn’t look good...
-
That’s not necessarily a good thing. 16 accusations gets most people fired in almost any other industry...
-
Did you say injury? Fitterer is interested now...
-
Ok so would you rather A. Trade up to 2/3 and gets Fields/Wilson/Lance, but lose our second round pick that could be used for a LT or B. Miss out on the top 4 QBs, but walk away with a potential starting LT and a project QB in Mond/Newman/Mills. Best case is obviously one of the 4 fall to us at 8 or we move up while keeping our 2nd pick, but teams may want that pick for us to move up...

That’s why Daley looks like just depth unless he stays healthy. I’m not saying this is a great line or even good, just not terrible for being this early in the offseason. We threw in some vets only lost Okung really who couldn’t stay healthy. Compared to our usual status of our offensive line this is trending in the right direction. Iriving/Scott, Elf/Daley, Paradis, Miller, and Moton is our worst case scenario. We are definitely picking up more talent in the draft and have cap space in case a vet becomes available.
-
Fields has a great deep ball. Just saying...
-
Relatively speaking of course. The whole right side is back with our center. Daley is capable at LG if Elf struggles. At least Cam and Scott have experience at LT (I’m hoping we draft one too). I also think Irving will do better with our zone blocking than he did last year.
-
Cam, Elf, Paradis, Miller, Moton with Scott, Daley, and Little as depth before the draft isn’t terrible....
-
If we have leftover cap it carries over next year anyway right? I think these moves just keeps our options open for a big time player if one becomes available. I’m sure it was originally leaving space to bring on Watson...

Straight to the point.

Nothing to complain about so far which is a good thing.

He didn’t run because there was nothing to gain from it. He wanted to show scouts how good his arm is, no one is really doubting his legs. He was clocked in with GPS (which is actual game speed) at one of the top speeds when he was playing. Honestly 40 time shouldn’t matter for QBs, but Trey has been clocked in the mid 4.5s by a performance manager. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sportingnews.com/us/amp/nfl/news/trey-lance-40-yard-dash-pro-day/apq8te72kumr15kvotxfb3ljr

We can keep arguing and assume a bunch of things we don’t know or we can just wait and let the system run through these cases. The number of victims seems way too high for Watson to be innocent, but regardless it doesn’t look like the Panthers are waiting around to find out. Hopefully we will draft a solid rookie and as far as Watson goes, I hope the truth comes out one way or another.
-
I mean he can develop into a decent starter with the right cast around him. Maybe like an Alex Smith? 4th round QBs are backups usually IMO.
-
The guy is very competitive and seems to be a perfectionist who is constantly working. He just doesn’t have the tools to be drafted in the early 1st or maybe 1st at all. 2nd/3rd round is where he SHOULD be, but he will get over drafted because he is a QB who lit it up in college. He would honestly make a decent replacement for Drew Brees in NO...
-
Any indication on which prospect is their top preference? (Outside of Lawrence of course)
-
I kind of like Moton at RT. He is elite there and was decent at LT. I hope we draft a LT in the second and let Cam, Paradis, Miller, and the guy from the Vikings compete for LG, C, and RG. Cam can swing out to LT if the rookie needs time to learn.
