  1. I mean any of our wins this year could be considered that. I get that this happened when we were out of the playoff race, but Rivera was just too bad...
  2. To lose to Haskins would have been painfully obvious we were tanking. We held out CMC towards the end and played our younger players. That’s pretty much all you can do unless you pull a Pederson....
  3. The owner when he said it was a 3-5 year rebuild process when he hired Rhule.
  4. If we trade up to 2, who do we take? Wilson? I kind of want to trade to 3 and pick Lance or Fields...
  5. If the top 4 QBs are gone, Sewell is a great back up plan. Extend Moton and we should be set at OT for a while...
  6. Don’t let that poo end this game. They did that to GB all game long. I guess the WRs need to start flopping if their jersey is grabbed...
  7. If you get cut from the worst team in the league it just shows that you probably shouldn’t have been drafted that high. He simply wasn’t worth the money. The Bucs gave him a one year deal worth up to 3.5 million to validate that point. So comparing him to CMC seems a little ridiculous right?
  8. I would like to see Mahomes vs Rodgers in the Super Bowl. I’m just glad the Saints lost!
  9. Stafford, who many are wanting us to trade for, isn’t far above him. A 3rd or less for a young Darnold makes more sense that a higher pick for an older Stafford.
  10. Well once the Jets trade their picks for him, he will have .... to block for him and .... catches passes from him, while handing it off to....
  11. After what’s happened with Darnold, I’m surprised he wants to be a Jet. That is a huge market though and they just hired the man he he wanted as a coach.
  12. I wish they wouldn’t talk him down too much. I would hope (wishful thinking) someone else wants to take a gamble on him and we can trade him for some sort of compensation. A team like the Colts with their line might think he can be serviceable there. Wishful thinking I know, but I don’t see the strategy in down talking him. It also lets every team know we are wanting to draft one if we can’t trade for one.
  13. He isn’t great but lead a good Minnesota defense and running game to the playoffs. He also won 5 in a row with the Saints ( again elite defense and offensive line). All I’m saying is if we miss on a QB, there are other options to make this team better and competitive even with Teddy. The position will obviously still need to be upgraded next year. If we can’t trade up and all 4 of the top tier are taken, and we miss on Watson/Stafford, this might be our plan C.
  14. I think he has a good arm, but so does Lance. If we can get Lance at 8, keeping all our picks, I’d call that a win.
  15. He absolutely is. We just don’t want to recreate what is happening in Houston. Watson is playing in his prime, but with little help giving him a worse record than we have. If we give up too much for him, we won’t have enough cap and players to make our team any more competitive than the Texans were this year.
  16. I get that. I just dint think he fits what we are trying to do. Build long term winning sustainability. He is at the end of his career and we are entering year 2 of rebuild. I’m wanting to draft a young QB, but Watson being 25 and one of the best is obviously tempting. I just don’t think we should trade away any assets for another rental QB.
  17. A 32 year old QB doesn’t need to come here and help our young team develop. He should go to the Niners or Pats or a team that is more seasoned.
