  1. Makes me think that Morgan never had his stamp on a lot of the roster depth. That's a good thing.
  2. The crazy thing is Teddy was statistically our best QB since Cam and it's really not that close...
  3. Lol he wanted to, but he did draw a line at that guaranteed money.
  4. He was such a good young QB. The off the field stuff looks to have ruined him. What a poo show that was…
  5. He looked good against our backups
  6. Where is that guy mocking us for not drafting Gore?
  7. Yeah that’s too much but he was signed before the market crashed for RBs. We overpaid and it wasn’t that huge of a contract.
  8. For a RB? Maybe. I guess it depends on the definition of “great.” Regardless we shouldn’t throw money at him after drafting Brooks.
  9. Something cheap I’m ok with after a great year.
  10. I wouldn't extend Hubbard unless he kills it this year. Our investment in the OL should allow a lot of RBs to play great. Brooks should eventually be RB1 so unless we are signing Chuba for something pretty cheap, I wouldn't do it.
  11. The fact they were able to ditch a young star like Watson and walk away looking so much better so quickly is amazing. They get to avoid all that off field poo now and have a new and probably better franchise QB.
  12. Both things are true. We should have drafted Stroud and he ended up in a better situation. He didn’t have to say that. Could have left it at some things were beyond Bryce’s control and he will be fine. One thing about Stroud in his interviews, he pretty much tells it straight. He isn’t a BS fluff kind of guy.
  13. Slowik is legit. I wish we gave him a stronger look. Slowik, Stroud, and Ryans gave them a freaking amazing offseason.
  14. Stroud would have probably played better here, but not as good as he did in Houston. His OC is from the Shanny tree and had full control of the offense. Even Stroud will tell you his situation was better, in fact he did. https://www.si.com/nfl/2024/02/07/c-j-stroud-passionately-defends-panthers-bryce-young-after-woeful-rookie-season#:~:text=You can't make a,comparison to that of Stroud's.
  15. Yeah someone will throw at least a 7th to prevent him from hitting waivers.
  16. They may trade him. I heard the Falcons are interested in him. He is what WR5 for the Texans?
  17. “You are never going to read the backside first on a rollout.” That should answer some questions on why he hit AT vs DJ on his PA rollout. Not that it really needed explaining but some wanted a different read.
  18. Lol right? I’ll take the open 17 yard “check down” every play if it’s allowed by the defense. You would be dumb not to. I think some people play too much Madden…
  19. Put it this way. Only Purdy average more YPA than Young did in that limited series. If Young goes from 5.5 to 8.8 playing a decent amount of games we should be happy. It's why overly critiquing it just looks silly. The main concern is can he do it in the regular season against good defenses.
