Carr, Lagway, Meste, Raiola would all still be underclassmen who can return for more NIL money. CJ Bailey at NCST is another QB who could make a nice leap next year.

You don't trade away one of the top LTs in the league when you don't have a valid replacement and your QB thrives in a pocket. They also traded away Kenyon Green OG to make cap space. They were wanting to make their defense elite at the expense of their offense which worked but Nico getting hurt followed by Schultz during the game absolutely finished off what remined of their offense. Those 2nd and 3rd round rookie WRs could be good, but they need some more time as most due picked in that range. I'm sticking with ALL QBs need protection and weapons to be competitive in this league. CJ for example wasn't playing that bad all year when he had his TE and WR1 healthy, his rookie year was and will be an outlier for the reasons you already mentioned. This playoff game was also an outlier for the reasons I mentioned.

This one would be nice! Sadiq and Hill are two immediate starters and some OL depth pieces are always appreciated.

All QBs need weapons and a decent OL. Bryce didn't have it his rookie year and now the Texans have gutted their OL to make their defense elite. Throw in CJ's only weapon, Nico, being out and yeah it's though to play well through all of that.

I'd think most rational fans are happy with his playoff performance. Most just want to see him have consistency and his lows not be so low throughout the regular season.

I think he will go to NYG if he goes anywhere.

I would prefer someone from the outside to help grow Dave or Idzik as a playcaller. He has some potential but there have been several games where he was simply outmatched by his opponent. Dan leaving it to Dave means I kind of doubt it will happen, but it would do this staff a lot of good if it did.

The hope would be that people under/around that OC would learn some things from him.

I'd like to get Allar if he drops past round 3. Seems to have all the physical ability and I'm not sure Penn St has the best group around him aside from TW two years ago.

Seems a little mentally week to lead a NFL team. I know Darnold seems to have turned his mental issues around, but he wasn't having them in college on a loaded team like Beck did in UGA.

I'd love this pickup. A big upgrade from JHJ. Cade Otton from Tampa would be another nice upgrade. He is scheduled to be a FA and Canales has already worked with him in Tampa. LB, Edge, FS, and now OL should be big priorities this offseason.

@Shotgun told us he didn’t really want to stay in Carolina like halfway through the season. He has a family member that knows him of if I remember correctly.

I agree. Speedy YAC guy and TE. Coker and TMac are a solid combo.

Icky had a great year. He played the last couple games hurt, but he has looked like a solid LT for us. Obviously we need to get his knee checked out but he earned an extension in my book.
