Yeah he used Otton in his one season as a play caller. He just doesn't have much to work with here. I still see Tremble and Evans getting out on routes though and obviously JT was drafted to be that guy whether he works out or not...

I'm not a fan of Pickett but why are we saying he has a "noodle arm?" He has small hands no doubt but he arm was always average to me. His velocity is clocked in the mid 50s. Nothing elite but not a weakness either. Nothing to really be excited about but he is a younger upgrade at the backup position. I'd still like to draft one to develop though.

Oweh just signed a similar 4 year $100 million (68 guaranteed) again I would always look at the guaranteed, but yes another edge just signed something similar and Oweh isn't great against the run.

I believe Morgan was high on him during the draft. Yeah I get it though, if one of the better offensive minds doesn’t want him… red flag.

Yeah I'm not sure what more fans can currently want. We are trending up with a bright young core who is only going to get better. We started off terrible but are on a hot streak now that everyone is healthy. We won 9 in a row, beat some of these top tier teams, and like you are saying are 17-2 with out starters playing. We also have a lot of draft capital moving forward. Our coach seems to be getting comfortable too.

Yeah the Bevell thing is weird but it’s nice to have his experience for our younger offensive staff. I’m just glad DC isn’t calling plays because that was a lot for him at this point in his career and he wasn’t that good at it honestly.

I kind of like it because play calling seemed to be a weakness of his. Having a vet play caller in Bevell to help Idzik learn could be good. Plus I think Canales is too green of a HC to try to handle play calling too.

Making the playoffs as quickly as he did after what he inherited was impressive. He inherited the worst team in the league with a depleted roster, missing draft picks, and a QB who just had a historically bad rookie season. I mean it's hard to get much worse. I wish he would hire someone to call plays because I think that's his weakness, but maybe he can get better there as he gets experience.

Darnold, Mahomes (3), Stafford, Manning, Flacco, Eli, Rodgers, and Big Ben were all 1st round QBs some had to get traded to better teams and Brady makes up 7 of the other wins. So I'm seeing Hurts, Foles, Russ, Brees, and Brad Johnson as the only non-Brady QBs that weren't originally taken in the 1st round. Foles and Johnson were absolutely carried by their loaded teams. So the odds of drafting a Super Bowl winning QB not in the first round are really low and two of the recent 5 not named Brady are QBs you wouldn't want to really build around. Hell Foles is probably available right now. If you are looking for any sort of odds from this data is might be to sign a former 1st round QB that struggled on a bad team or keep drafting 6th round QBs and hope they magically turn into Brady.... There is also the build and elite defense and plug whoever you want back there with Hurts, Foles, Russ, and possibly Darnold.

The bright side is that if our offense shits the bed it is looking to be a nice QB class next year. Kind of a good year to have a tough schedule as weird as that sounds.

Allar in the 4th would be a steal

Lloyd and a solid edge would do absolute wonders for our defense.
