Mahomes to Kelce is one of the most dominating connections in recent football history. Bridgewater to Thomas or Manhertz is laughable in comparison since none of those guys are any good. Bridgewater couldn’t hit an open DJ Moore in the end zone and literally cried about the play call being the problem like the dude is that horrible lol. The closest we had to KC was Newton to Olsen but we obviously have to upgrade big time to even come close to that again on both fronts.

Mahomes is an incredible talent but man seeing him operate with the type of coaching and people he has had at the skill and other positions always reminds me we gave Newton a combo of Rivera/Mike Shula/Ted Ginn with terrible lines as our best support like really lmao

That’s what I didn’t like about that decision. Teddy never felt safe to me. It’s a line between getting to be so safe and being a winner which comes with some level of risks. Our guys made a choice and I understand that but damn so far Rhule has looked at Bridgewater, Walker and Haskins( I know he didn’t sign with us but we had interest) as our qbs. It’s like damn QB is so important and in limited action we aren’t doing good

At the time I didn’t think of QB and Ive always been a huge Newton fan and I thought Mahomes was a talented prospect (but nothing compared to what he’s done in the nfl) but holy damn the dude is fire. He’s got good coaching and talent around him but damnI didn’t think it was gonna be that level

Puts in perspective what the Panthers did by keeping Rivera and hiring back Marty Hurney for our franchise. Rivera literally had some of the worst defenses the last few years with McDermott gone when players told us how important he was despite the nfl and people giving Rivera all the credit by constantly giving him the defensive genius moniker. The same guy as a player I’m told slipped his hand down his butt crack and licked his own azz butter. People were more invested giving him coach of the year accolades and justifying his horrible coaching to spite that evil Cam Newton for our limited success. God I wish we had McDermott as our coach.
