  1. like him leading O-line meetings and being so far ahead in the playbook. yeah, good times.
  2. Remember when Cam was injured and couldn’t throw medium-deep passes and defenders could just sit on routes? That’s how I’m seeing things are with Bryce. Except Bryce isn’t injure.
  3. The hate extends to both Bryce and Tepper because if Tepper had made the right choice it would’ve turned the franchise around last year.
  4. Stetson Bennet has never taken an NFL snap? I’d put our guy Plummer above him.
  5. Glad it was nothing major. Bryce: I’m just so grateful that nothing happened. When it was happening I was reminding myself and my teammates that all we gotta do is trust the pilot. Let’s trust the pilot on this one.
  6. We need to bring in a QB who can push and has the capability of replacing Bryce, not back him up. He needs a fire lit under him.
  7. Will keep the whole family in prayer. keep pounding!
  8. don't need any hope there. he WILL light us up lol.
  9. The trade to #1 would be been ok if we had just taken Stroud. Thats who I wanted. We’d be singing a different tune today had that happened. but ya know, we’re stuck with Bryce so gotta hope he succeeds I guess.
  10. how about we just sit him for the year or indefinitely. addition by subtraction.
  11. I'm guessing the flip side is him getting injured in a "meaningless" preseason game?
  12. The Patriots in recent years have been responsible for injuring our guys during the preseason so I’m ok with Bryce sitting. It’s a win-win regardless the way I see it. 1.) Plummer outplays Bryce and the staff, hopefully then, goes with the hot hand. 2.) Bryce is kept healthy for the season and even with the improved offensive line and receivers, Bryce continues to put up his rookie numbers. This will only lead to, hopefully, the staff seeing that they played to his strengths in building a scheme to maximize his strengths in short yardage passing, only for him to continue to hold the offense back, to selecting his successor in upcoming drafts.
  13. I've followed this team since 2003 and what I've picked up along the way is that what the team shows during training camp and pre-season is indicative of their performance during the season. From what I'm seeing, the outlook for this year is not so good and a huge reason for that is QB1.
  14. The Patriots have historically injured our guys, so it's a great idea to sit 1-2nd stringers. Let the fringe guys play.
  15. dude is a straight up cat with 9 lives for sure.
  16. we might not, but now it's highly likely Ian Thomas will.
  17. Like Cam said, there are game changers and there are game managers. From what I’ve seen so far, Bryce will never be the former, and he can only hope to be half of the latter. He’s supposed to be Skynet according to the S2 but I never saw it.
  18. So Smitty is teaching Mingo how to bail out his QB? Love Jake but Smith bailed him out more often than not
  19. he aint got no time to think about how many months have 28 days. it's a trap. he must've heard "how many months ONLY have 28 days." but the question that was asked was "how many months have 28 days," which would be 12. math? shoot. I majored in music early on so that I only have to count to 12 max.
  20. To my untrained eye Bryce looks exactly the same as last year. Yeah these are short clips but what I see is that his demeanor is the same (out there just to be out there). Is it "normal" for QBs to practice that way? I'm from the philosophy that how you practice is how you show up when it's time to perform.
  21. No worries, no offense taken. I never knew that about the Stephon character but it makes sense. I’m something of a 90s kid myself.
  22. I was just saying Steve in general, but you're right it was technically Stephon.
  23. Hope he balls out so that we can change the narrative surrounding his size. until then, I’m 5’10 170lbs and look bigger than him.
