  1. I'd say we've gotten better since trading him.
  2. For the first time in his time here, I actually felt confident and hopeful in his play. Every third down I had hope that he would convert with his arm. The last time I felt this way was when we had Cam.
  3. Suddenly his play doesn’t make him look 5’9 anymore. Mighty Mouse.
  4. I thought it was going to be OBJ vs JNO all over again at one point in the game.
  5. If we continue to play like how we played the chiefs, and grow from it, shoot we going undefeated all the way (Channeling Jameis Winston).
  6. The negative Nancy in me (or objective?) says that they had a bye week to prepare for the Chiefs. However, it’s one thing to have a good plan and it’s another to actually execute it. For all the flack he’s received (from me as well), Bryce seemingly has put his head down and worked his tail off and his play is giving me hope. The first 18-game Bryce showed no progression whatsoever. He gets benched, comes back, and has shown steady progress every week he has started. I think I’m starting to see what the Bryce lovers and unconditional defenders were saying all along, and I hope he can show that on a regular basis for the sake of our QB1 position.
  7. Ian Thomas has to stay. Dude is legendary. (/s). Tommy can go as well. One pass hit him in the hands for a TD and he dropped it.
  8. Bryce played like a grown man today. We didn't punch it in but I felt he made some good decisions to avoid negative plays.
  9. Canales making him earn the job seems to be paying off.
  10. Good: He's improved on basically every area. Bad: He's still developing. I've been sour on him but the guy is proving me wrong by showing steady improvement since coming back as QB1.
  11. Refs were on full force in the 3rd quarter.
  12. that throw he made on the run to Thielen in the end zone that resulted in PI, my jaws dropped. I had never see him do anything like that before. the ball hit Thielen in the hands. whatever it is Canales is doing it's seemingly working in developing Bryce.
  13. who the hell did we have at QB1 today. that was awesome. I hope they start him again next week.
  14. Refs making up flags now to make up for that 2nd quarter where they were "forced" to throw flags. THey're making an apology to the chiefs for sure.
  15. That ain’t old school because it’s not the NFL shield.
  16. No way, we cannot afford to lose a franchise staple in Ian Thomas. Make that guy a Panther lifer because he deserves to be in the ring of honor one day with #80 retired.
  17. Bears looking eerily similar so far to the 2023 Panthers. I think we know why.
  18. I think Evero’s contract runs out after this season? If true then I’m not sure if him getting hired away for a HC position will net us a third rounder at all. Unless, they secretly extend him this season. edit: found that he has one more year on his contract after this season. He can stay or most idealistic scenario would be like what has been said: he gets a HC gig, we net a third rounder, hire Saleh, Saleh gets hired away after 2 years, we net another third rounder. (then proceed to miss on each third rounder in the draft)
  19. the first two games of the season really hampered their numbers, so I'd say the other rookies on the list have at least a 2 game lead lol. Coker didn't even play until week 5.
  20. This is true. I think guys like TD, Luke, Jake, Gross, Trey Boston all have been positive and hopeful about Panther moves since they retired or left the team. They'll give their opinion about things but arent overly critical. Steve Smith has been critical but since becoming a media guy he's become more neutral, and since being part of the panthers media team (I think?) he's been more Pro-Panthers. Cam has been honest with his takes which I appreciate, and I think being PC in the media is something that won't suit him. Therefore, it makes sense why they'd prefer to not have him around media wise.
