Every time Bryce checks to a play its a run that goes nowhere lol
-
My stream was frozen for almost that whole first drive for the Lions. Can anyone tell me how they scored??
-
0-17 is very possible with this team. If you have an offense that cant score touchdowns to save its life thats going to be a big problem
-
That wasn't a terrible first drive but it crucially didnt result in any points.
-
How about that Tommy Tremble whiffing badly on Hutchinson on that Laviska run? That was pretty terrible
-
I dont think there's enough evidence to overturn that catch

What would you give up to draft Marvin Harrison Jr.
Pantha-kun replied to CBird's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think that's impossible while missing a 1st rounder in 2024. I think the best you could try to do is trade our 2024 2nd and 3rd (they're most likely near the top of the rounds so theyre bit more valuable) , trade Burns AND Brown, and trade 2025 1st and 2nd. Basically trade away all of your high picks for the next 2 drafts and your top 2 players on your team. It would take a kings ransom like that for any teams to even entertain the idea. And it would completely fug the franchise for the next 3 years most likely. Just missing that 1st rounder in 2024 is a deal breaker I think. No ones going to trade out of a top 5 pick in the draft and not even be able to swap to another 1st rounder. -
Is Frank Reich telling Bryce who to throw to on each play?
Pantha-kun replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lets make a bet. If Bryce is a bust you get banned for life. If he turns into a pro bowler I get banned for life. Theyre several times better than Minnie Mouse here. -

Tell that to CJ and AR, Einstein. They also have rookie Head Coaches and dont have the greatest staff or stocked with pro bowlers all over the roster. Im with this team until I die, deal with it. I aint no band wagoner that stops watching when the team goes on 6 consecutive losing seasons. -

Did well enough to lose the game on a game breaking fumble 6 and almost threw a pick 6, threw for 0 TDs and barely over 200 yards. In what universe is this considered "doing well"? Were you one of those galaxy brain rocket scientists that said Bryce did well throwing 2 picks to the same defender in Atlanta and they score off those turnovers and use the momentum to win the game? You Bryce nut huggers are beyond ridiculous. It aint all his fault but you guys are deflecting so much blame from him its nonsensical. Its almost like youre saying its 95% everything else and 5% Bryce when hes making game breaking mistakes and not even remotely scoring enough to have a good chance of beating some very beatable teams weve played, maybe minus the seahawks. -
Multiple first round picks lol. You can kiss the 2025 1st and 2026 1st away to go along with not having a 2024 first for the Bryce trade. That would be the ultimate move to bury this franchise for a good decade.

beleive me, the Dalton point is a salient one. Dalton isn't some incredible talent. He's a decent backup journeyman vet QB. The fact that theres such a huge contrast between the two when Andy vs Bryce is in the game is an indictment on Bryces ability to play QB at the moment. Especially given he was the #1 overall pick. Your argument would hold more water if Bryce was some mid or late round project that we had minimal expectations for. But given the context of the situation of how Bryce was brought in here, its currently looking like a horrible draft decision. Until proven otherwise

Believe me, they ARE laughing their asses off at Bryce and us right now. I was listening to a podcast last week and a Falcons fan said he was glad we got Bryce instead of CJ or AR. The other NFC South fans are talking so much poo now because so many Panther fans were gloating in the off season wed run the division with our QB who was obviously better than everyone else in the division before even setting foot an an NFL field. The crazy thing is so many people bought Bryce jerseys before he played. Are yall still rocking those jerseys right now?
-
I just really dont like how some of your are just blowing it off and acting like 90 percent of this isnt Bryces fault. Its mind boggling. If you are that dude, you make plays despite this bull poo around you. Im not saying you magically make the team a super bowl contender. But if Bryce was a competent QB we wouldnt look like a wounded duck with him manning the offense every Sunday. Andy Dalton really put a thorn in some of you apologists arguments. Because he actually made the offense look somewhat competent. Both him and Young played bad defenses in back to back weeks. Same coach. Generally same players. Same team. If the playcalling was really that big of a deal, why doesn't bryce ask for different ones like Andy did? Is it not a gargantuan indictment on Bryce himself if the coaches refuse to call down the field plays for their #1 overall trade the farm for QB, but not do the same for a backup QB? That makes me think theyre trying to hide some inadequacies Bryce has had behind the scenes, because there is no other logical explanation. Why would you basically coach to lose your job lol
-
thats the only way any of this plalycalling makes any sense logically
-
It works both ways man. Even if Bryce doesnt have the most ideal pieces he should be able to do SOMETHING. Which he hasnt. Which is the god damn problem. At some point you're simply deflecting all blame from Bryce when Andy Dalton in the same Offense had it moving like a well oiled machine at times.
-
What do you think Bryce is angry at here?
Pantha-kun replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
So Bryce cant check out of the screen calls or ask for better plays like Dalton did? OK. -
This is the most damning statement on Bryce ive seen yet. And its probably true. Hed be seen as a mid round project.
-
that is a huge part of my point. You dont do all this poo for a QB that needs to be in a perfect situation to be productive. Or even mediocre. I dont even think Bryce has been good enough to be called mediocre. 0-1 TDS a game and at least 1 game breaking turnover for most games is not even backup level production. Andy Dalton showed you what a high quality backup QB should do vs Seattle.
-
My main point here. Not Trolling. My Main point is we can be critical of Bryce and still be passionate FANS of this team. Bryce has the ability to change to be a decent or good QB? Maybe. But I have not seen it on the field. If he does show something eventually? Ill cheer him on just as loudly as i did cam. But until then I will poo on him as hard as i did Teddy, Kyle Allen, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, and PJ Walker.

I call horse shi.t. Yes the players , coaches, front office, owners were different. But you know WHAT??? Bryce apologists?!? Cam's rookie year, i had hope bc he was bringing that energy and explosive plays even when we were losing. Im not seeing any of that from Bryce. Not even a fraction of it. I was yelling at my TV in college, jumping around, shouting for joy. Running around my dorm like a crazy person because Cam was killing it man. Despite the loses and the bad team. But this guy? Bryce? No fuging energy. No explosiveness whatsover. Same with Reich. The team adopts the personality and energy of the HC and QB. and Reich/young both have the mliktoast low energy non chalant attitude that upsets me. There is no DOG IN THESE MEN. Cam mentioned at least once when he came back to play for us the last time and I heard him say it again last week in a podcast . The panthers are missing Players that truly understand what it means to be a Panther. Players that actually care about what is going on and keep themselves accountable. There's no foolproof way for me to know that isn't going on. But I have a feeling it is. And it all starts out with the HC/QB. Thats why Im so down in the dumps right now about this team. I feel like I have no god damn hope.

At this point Teddy has outperformed Bryce by a massive margin. Go back and actually watch those first few games Bridgewater played.
-
Teddy Bridgewater and Kyle Allen have outperfomed him at this point in time. Not saying Bryce cant get better. But right now? It looks BAD. I totally agree with you. Its not that bryce is throwing 4 picks a game or whatever. I can live with mistakes with a rookie QB. Its just the lack of explosive plays, lack of energy, lack of emotion, and lack of any sort of impressive throws or running ability that has me fuming that we traded up all those assets for him. You do that for a QB that has elite accuracy (like Stroud) or elite atheltetic traits (like AR). Doing all that for a QB that his only great equallizer is how smart he is? Is stupid. Ryan Fitzpatrick was incredibly smart. Did that make him one of the best QBs in the league???? You could say that same for a lot of former QBs that eventually went into coaching.
