Thing is Andy was already here. Drew had a full off-season&season with Daves system and others coaches helping. I got not clue how Drew would do here, there's barely any in-game snaps and Ive never seen him in a practice setting. He should be NFL QB "cheap", that's one of the biggest reasons cause panthers barley have any cap space. Plus it seemed the staff when after him, but lots changes in a NFL year. Dave could be all-in on rookie to pair with this very young team.

I honestly dont know. All I heard is he has matured greatly after his first 3 years and he was going pass for pass with Geno. It was a coin flip about who Seattle was going to start, they picked the older player and geno has played great. Dave canales staff went hard after him, I heard Dan Morgan offered nearly top backup pay. Drew picked giants cause he wanted the easiest path to starting. You got to believe some team or teams are going to toss bags of money at Christ. His 2022 LG tape is top tier. He's shown upper level play at C and LT without reps. I'd almost say if the Panthers were in great cap shape- tag the guy. *with intention of trading him He's going to get some 5 years 80 million deal, if not more.

@Jackie Lee @outlaw4 Dave and others had drew in Seattle. They tried to sign him this off-season, I heard big backup numbers. Drew thought giants backup was a faster path to starting.... He should be cheap as well. Not that Im some super fan, just reading leaves and using history.

The guy could have easily taken the easy road and got his UGL repaired. Then he would be done for this lost season, but this guy is different. He found the largest elbow contraption in the world and kept playing with 1, 2, and 3-7 record. It's his first year here too, not like the team could have forced him. Hunt is a force and gets plenty of love, lewis deserves similar praise with the defenders knowing he's playing hurt.

Both are not ready. Besides Daniels and Stroud(who's dealing with team issues), no other young QBS since burrow should have played. Teams are basically just taking new borners and tossing them into deep waters and see if they can swim. Daniels could be headed back to earth once he gets an injury or DC find his weakness.

I can tell you this, coaches know within few practices if the QB can play or not. Dave knowns BY is severely limited. He's also forcing BY to be on edge, good for a player that been on the best teams since HS. He needs pressure. I can even go back, way back.....when the redskins drafted heath shuler and Gus Frerotte. Mark "stink" Schlereth said within 15 mins the OL knew Gus was the better QB.
