  1. welp i was wrong about the speakers looking the same, but at least i found it!!
  2. All true. The one deciding factor in this- Bidwill is a worse owner than tepper. I have seen more than few rumors about murray on the trade block this off-season. I believe if not for his injury, the market would have been hot during the trade deadline. That contract is super scary too.
  3. I think i still have one of these or one very close to it in my mountains of "stuff". Im a old great depression farmer at heart, just never thrown away anything.... The speakers looked the same, but I remember it having 2 tape decks.
  4. They started out soooo well and far better than anyone could have guessed.....then the defensive geniuses looked over the weekly games, they found solutions. Thats always been a key point- what happens after the league breaks your system apart?? Constant game of trying to stay ahead, making adjustments, and finding solutions. I swear the last 3 panthers HCs struggled hard at those 3 things...
  5. Hill is one of the very few true difference makers in the NFL that are non-QBs. I think JJ is the only other WR on his level. He does in fact change the game and is a big play in waiting each snap. I was shocked to see the andy reid trade him and they didnt get the right value in return either. Much more to the story, per normal i bet. Felt like a smitty and newton deal....
  6. You are right. Plus im about 99.7% sure they will cut thomas soon after the season. Just to add tremble is a bright spot in this awful season. The best part is hes still only 23 years old. If only christ and horn stayed health, Id won my side of the "top 5 panthers draft class" with @kungfoodude
  7. I was legit shocked when he re-entered the game after going to the tent. Hes also not played at his same lock down/seat belt level since his return. I swear besides a couple players the remaining talented players are so frustrating.
  8. I got a 35$(org 89) raycon boom box from bjs clearance. Its about as loud as the 15$ Chinese speaker I got off amazon with good reviews. sorry this added nothing to this thread..
  9. I honestly think peppers doesnt care about the HOF.
  10. Im sure I posted Id much rather give up two 1s and pay lamar than the young trade. Hes about to be a 2x league MVP, thats one short list of greats.
  11. A RB specialist in 2023?? Is that not about the least valued trait a NFL coach can have now?
  12. His family is close by?? Loved bryce young? Enjoys challenges? Wants to work with evero? Depending on his relationship with stanley it could be alll for not. I mean if any coach comes here and turns this squad into winners, they would be legends.
  13. LOL at betting for the panthers to cover ANY bet. Did everyone forget that other 14 games??
  14. Not a fan nor would hate if he became HC. All that could change if I knew who hed be hiring at OC, WR, TE, OL, etc. I mean thats my biggest issue for any HC, who are you hiring at those important spots. Cause given the poor talent level, you need coaches that can do more with less talent.
  15. You see the carolina panthers even with the least talent are not in the worst team situation. Denver, cleveland, and maybe arizona are worse than the panthers. If not for herbo in LA Id say Spanos makes them worse than panthers&tepper.
  16. I think brady was a "game manager" in his first 10 or so years, then he evolved. Plus I think hes the only QB to pass for more yards in his 40s than 30s. Far as Purdy goes, my main man and QB guru Steve logan loves him. Hes always had a great eye for talent and gained my trust. Hes not a game manager, hes a legit different maker whos had 4 terrible games while fighting injuries. For sure take him over young.
  17. Fittererers job was to follow what rhule wanted. I get what your saying and its true- no one on the outside knows truly what fittererererers role in all the draft picks, trades, and contracts. He cannot take only the bad when a trade is poo, same for the good. I was just pointing out how he was able to gain picks form 3 players that had negative values/ getting cut. The baker, cj henderson, and Shenault trades were my favorite low risk high pay off types too. Sure baker didnt work out, but only a 5th was used. Id say its a minor win for the other two, given each had super low salaries while playing snaps.
  18. Yea that was a great deal that first year and then came that extension after robbie was crying. I agree the panthers should have held firm. Again rhule was the boss and that was one of his choosen ones...... One great year followed by a disaster year that somehow fitt got a 6th and 7th for a ultra toxic guy. He did nothing for zona and been off and on phins PS this year.
  19. I swear anderson was signed for like 1yr 6 mill and then came the 2 yr 30 some million deal. It may have been a 2 year deal the first time and that was a bargain at the time. Robbie held out for a new deal and got it. Then rhule was fired and he became a cancer. I also think he got a 6th and 7th for him after the cancer deal. Still minor but everyone thought he was tooo toxic for any other team to touch.
  20. I feel fittterererer just has done what rhule, tepper and other coaches wanted. Sometimes you need to be able to say "No". I dont think he was able or could. I wanted to give fitttererererrer some time after he gained some control after rhule. But the facts are the roster has the least talent out of the 32 teams. That is one rough deal to overlook. He did trade greg little, daley, and robbie anderson when no one on earth believed it was possible. Again just far too many negatives to positives. Those are tiny positives too...
  21. My guess is there will be 10 or 9 HC open jobs. Some unknown or lesser known guys will be HCs and watch out for college ranks getting picked. Simply not enough HCs to fill given many of the fired ones will not get another shot(ei ron rivera, reich, etc...)
