So Im not the only one still gassed about that play.....soft-ass funch, never felt the same about him afterwards. That one play could have lead to a SB run, it was that important and panther had enough. Shocked at the contracts he got after leaving as well, the dude had more hamstring injuries than anyone in NFL history. S-O-F-T!! -
100% A NEW STRENGTH COACHING STAFF!!! Fans dont realize but the one coach that players spent the most time with is the strength coach. Panthers look and play weak, that falls on the strength staff. I dont have the data, but it also feels like there are more injuries on the panthers (than average teams). The current staff is the remains from rhule aka baylor bros. Total joke in this billion dollar league not to have the best training staff out there. Huge mistake by tepper and org.

Which franchises are known as the most well run?
Basbear replied to Panthero's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is a good point and right, I have overlooked them too. Think about their division- 49ers, rams, murray. Those are not easy games and you got 6 of them each year, but somehow you end up with a winning record. They do belong along pats, steelers, ravens, and packers. -
bro, disagree with this. Hes familiar with NFC south and been practicing against one of the better offense minds for years. Hes a good age after being the NFL youngest HC. Hes coached both sides of the ball at high levels. Hes not my first choice, but I wouldnt be upset if tepper went off his current path and surprised named him HC. If you look at what hes done at LA, theres not much there after you take away darnold. Still puts on a stiff defense.

Will Scott Fitterer go down as one of the worst GM’s in NFL history?
Basbear replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
welllll i guess its not a trade even if it was two 1s for a used up player. Plus its hard to call the byce trade already one-sided. -

Sean Gilbert still has that, for now.... Far as finssssererererererer, the beaguals had a what 1-31 span. Whoever that GM was, i think it was the owner mike brown..... Jets had similar times as well. (gene something) Millen was worse as other said. -
Yea I agree. If I was still watching the NFL like 10 years ago or in the states, Id pirate the hell out of them. I believe capitalistic is one of the best ways, BUT me myself are a terrible one. Id do not over consume, I buy stuff at thift stores/marketplace, do not care about fashion fads etc, nor eat out much. Honestly nearly got everything I need, which is why I know the NFL doesnt care one bit about my lack of fandom. I do miss spending the winning cash and talking trash form the FF stuff, I will admit that.

No issues! You are right, NFL is a drug and I do have a panther addiction. Far as NFL at one point I had like 10 fantasy teams, as of two years running- zero teams. Just to add, honestly I got super sick of allllllll the gambling ads being forced each tv break. I had thoughts of the same, "Im done". It was bad enough with allllll the booze ones and fuging gambling right after&before the game breaks. Then the stadium/team sponsored ones after years of banning it??? Just panthers now. Im one of those super weirdos about addictions- I can be a boozehound and train smoke, then days later not touch anything for years. Then start up again, same deal. Same about foods, quitting sunkist was harder than cigarettes.....

Yea, I do think fisserereererer approved frank and once things got rough he folded. tepper has been fooled twice now, both were different ways. I do think him not picking many of the staff also made him check out as well. He was like "this is going to take years and who are these coaches?!?!?"
-
I do believe frank was under heavy pressure about starting young, could have been a reason he gave up too. It does feel like byce in practice is different come gameday. Thats part of being a HC, you got to know fools gold when you see it. I think frank just wanted no part of "fixing" byce with knowing it may take til the off-season. He didnt even want to fix his terrible footwork, so bizarre.

dam shame panthers cannot trade with them...

Back in the stone age........all rookie QBs sat.(rare cases started) Then the draft picks were getting too much money to sit. * This is my opinion lots of college system elements were brought to the pros and they worked. SO it was easier for the transition. Byce should have sat, but 20/20 etc etc. I mean the main issue is Stroud and for a small first 5 games Arich were named early starters and had success. Its near impossible to sit byce when those two are out there winning games and being difference makers.

I thought you asked when his offense would win a SB? Mcvay uses parts of it and won. I was just try to say mcvay was found by shanahan in the famed group.
