Ill help with this- Panthers defense was only half bad, while the offense was full bad.
-
Im a little surprised pete has not forced his way out. He still wants to coach, love to have his guidance here for carales. Very odd treatment hes gotten form the team he won a SB for, same for bill who looks locked out.
-
Look at how tepper cares for his khakis, no wonder jim harbaugh wouldnt come here!!
-
I seen a stat thats very hard to believe- all 32 teams have a different OC since 2022. Just insane. No team has anyone staying around to figure things out, its a constant turnover for teams. I mean how lucky are the KC or LAR are for having the 5 or so years perfecting their offense. Just seems the current times, you need to learn a new system each couple years.

Any idea of what Young is doing in the offseason to improve?

EVERY damn thing about being an NFL QB! -
Brandt Tilis hire official - Executive VP of Football Operations

best hire this off-season(thus far). a smart guy that knows how winners spend their cap. great asset for the next few years of this rebuild. -
True, I truly thought 2022 were great hires, just had no leader... These guys are walking into a burning building and being asked to rebuild it once the fire is put out....

Berine Parmalee reacting to reading vince mcmahon texts messages ...
-
They hired Rob Moore former NFL WR and hes been coaching WRs since 2014. Nice find and he may need to suit up with the unit the panthers have....
-
Good(not great) hires, all of them. Weaken the bucs big time.
-
Not bad, much preferred this bunch over the young rumored ones. Goodwin is a winner and a big deal getting him away from the bucs. Plus I dont know if its part of the plan, but parmalee and moore were NFL players. Moore was legit good, i think he nearly had 10k rec yards. He may be able to start here...

RB edit lols...
-
Looking like the bucs should have fired todd bowles in order to keep the offense staff there, thats the 4th coach they need to replace now.
-
Goodwin is a WIN too. I didnt know he was zonas OC for 5 of their glory years. One of the better resumes on the panthers right now. Plus this weakens the bucs!
-
Missing a bunch- RB, WR, TE and assistants to each including OL and OC. Id much like to see a new strength coach as well, that is one of the best moves to make. Big time under-valued spot and the panthers played awful weak(minus luvu&brown).
-
Joe Gibert is good one! My god does he have one tough job ahead, but at least hes got real experience. Bucs OL has had some panthers like injuried filled seasons that he had to deal with.
-
Hire seahawks or just reported bucs OL coach. Thats one for the "good" job hire..... darrin gantt called the campy stuff total BS, still given the field of play I was ready to move on..
-
I swear this is word for word the same response I got when I questioned most of rhules hires. Ill try to calm down some, rhule flashbacks scar'd me deep.... he even talks like rhule....... Im already willing to bet this will be the youngest offense staff in the league... Not if theres no contract, most of the bucs offense staff dont have. Once pete was fired, most of the assistants are "free". Both the seahawks OC and DC have already took jobs else where, the DC is now phillys DL coach(downgraded). Bears got their OC and I think he brought another seahawks coach along with him. Others have took simlar jobs too. I didnt want rhule, but thought he should have took advantage of dallas all-star staff that was free during that time. Hire the best available, not your inexperienced drinkin bros....

"Please improve and stay healthy"

O that reminds of a good rumor I heard- tepper only hired the sportsology after ben johnson told him no. I believe it was the lock on panthers guy that said this.
-
This is going to give rhules staff a run for most inexperienced offense NFL staff. Does anyone need to tell carales, its fine to the coach and not his assistant?? Its perfectly fine, i swear....
-
This feels too much like rhule, hiring a bunch of people who never had their NFL role. If you go down the list of rumored assistants, they are all like carales. The lot of them have been ONLY assisting the coaching staff. Hes had the chance to hire from both bucs and seahawks coaching staffs, but hes picking mostly 2nd&3rd tiers. Just disappointing. This OC guy coached the bucs WRs one year, his time at seattle was spent getting coffee and drying footballs for the QBs. The guy tapped for STs, was a ST coach for one whole year in 2020. The OL guy only has 4 years helping hold pads. Again just like carales career assistants to assistant coaches... I get this will be a yearS rebuilt and all. Just the only hyped hire is #2 GM tilis...

Fun fact about Izzo. You can list his pro bowls as a special team ace, but do you know what his greatness feat as a player was?? / . / , / Noope all wrong. Izzo claim to fame was not wanting to leave the sideline during a game(in case STs were needed), so he used a cooler to take a dump on the sideline and no one caught him in the act....

I was refurring to Idzik. For canales, its very odd for reports that state "pete was his mentor, best friends etc" when canales was passed over twice for OC.
-
Very young and nearly no NFL experience, I hope he gets some gray hair on the offense staff. Feels too rhule-like, but everyone hires their friends.... I take it canales will be the play caller no matter the OC, maybe jim caldwell will fill the former HC role.
