NO meme, he was the Panthers best player sad as it is.

those 6th and 7ths, go ALL-IN or focus on OG, DB, and LB. The hit ratio for those three groups is much higher than others. I mean rookie kickers are no better than the street FAs. TB drafted one in the 2nd round and he ended up on panthers and five other teams shortly. The "all-in" part is the Greg Hardy's and stefon diggs guys. Even a guys that has some injuries, that at one point was ranked as a 2nd rounder. Just take higher risks at that point or go for the solid OG, LB, or DB. If you find a starting CB, its 20x the worth of a "starting" kicker that is one year away from getting cut. After sanders my next favorite pick was Michael Barrett, I think he's got a similar chance to replace Shaq same as the 3rd rounder wallance. I loved what the pats did when they drafted milton with maye, that's how you use the late rounders. The waste is drafting a guy that is out-played by a young street FA.

kicker is weird about the value it carries. Darrin has said what you did and I agree unless the team is a upper playoff or just firm playoff roster. If its a solid team, you need to have one of those top kickers. The pressure is totally different kicking in a 14-3 playoff game than a end of season 1-14 game. Kickers' value is based loads on the type of team they are on. Plus I've always maintained its beyond dumb to waste draft picks on kicker, punter, or LS. Like you said there's the elite and bunch of guys ranked 10-25 and then 20 more in tier 3. Teams are always cutting good ones for whatever reasons as well. I make the similar statements about backup QB. WHo cares about the backup on a 5-12 team..... but if the roster is stacked, its your top job to get a great backup QB. I'd even say its a top 10 position on a playoff team. Everyone thinks it was Brady was the reason for those playoff wins and Superbowls, but I member Adam Vinatieri winning plenty of those games(ugh..). Justin Tucker is another example and he's finally got old this past year. KC has a elite one too........ It's a super important part if the whole team is playoff bound.

icky was free to stunts, biltzs, and twists last year- same for the whole OL. that's when I gave up on campy, zero improvement form week2week. OL was not listening, then reports of tepper, fittererererrer, tepper wife watching OL drills......I'm out. Lastly how does this guy think he would coast on his "good" rookie season??? the whole time campy was giving help to him and holding his hands. then he entered season 2 and thought it would repeat?? I got just little more faith in ickys turnaround over young's. He should have gotten benched last season too. He must workout, cause you can not be a team that's looking for LT, QB, WR, and edge at the same fuging time.....SOMEONE has to step up!

You either need to do waaay more drugs or waaay less drugs, your current intake is not right. Sorry I can not advise on which path to take. -

How does anyone trust drugs these days? Only path I see, is using a test kit. -
Where will the wins come from? (my early predictions)
Basbear replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bro they shouldn't have won those 2 games either. It took a couple 4th down conversions and 2 last second FGs. I hate to poo on fellow fans thinking 8 wins is within reach, the odds are nano size. I do not know the future and there are surprise teams each year, but the Panthers are not one of them this year. Young would need to break records and evero would have to win assistant of the year. This team lacks talent, young talent to be more correct. The best thing going for them is the piss poor NFC south. It took the heavens opening to beat ATL and they should be favored by 17 this year. Even in the worst division them barely won 2, this team is B-A-D. -
None of them are form NC..

You'd just smoke up the profits, tho.......

Bryce is tough, but those two are light years tougher. Plus I can not name another sam mills or Smitty clone......my 1930s football is weak. That's the deal the odds are stacked against him. Plus my biggest issue was there's no- elite trait to make up for his size lack. Vick was a small&short NFLer, but he had elite movement and speed to make you go " I DO NOT CARE if he's 5'9.75, he just scored a 75 yard TD in which the defenders ran into themselves!!" He does have the rules are made to over protect QBs, unlike during Vicks era. Not to mention vick had a cannon along with elite wheels. -
I heard yall wanted Bryce to bulk up this offseason

I think giving Brady the #1 spot will be a huge mistake. The other mistake was giving Brady that insane contract, what a joke. Greg was a natural and still finding his pace when he talks too much. He should get the #1 spot back when Brady is done after this year.

If they add chips to the football, how will bryce young throw them?!?!?!

Every Big-Time Throw from Bryce Young and CJ Stroud in 2023
Basbear replied to Happy Panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I felt the Cam vibes on the huddle with Bryce, in fact its almost there. Threads that have no mention of young, turn in them. Only deal is Cam had tons more supporters/nut huggers. I honestly hated talking Cam with 90% of the huddle, in many eyes he was perfectly accurate with all his throws and if he had a legit great game the true haters were missing in action. Cam board is now a Bryce board... -

Yes they were in the Panthers shoes, but the deal is they had talented players on the roster. 49ers hired the same firm that Panthers used, they gave lynch a 6 year deal and he never been GM or scout. I believe he was doing color commentator games. They gave chip Kelly one year and before Jim " I only eat meatball subs" Tomsula one year, huge mess. Shanny is one of the best young minds in the NFL and he did save the 49ers. That's want panthers need a savior..... It is hope for the Panthers, just need talented players and NOT to trade them away or over pay them.... -

Canalas came out a while back and said he wanted a vet type QB3, odd with Dalton. All reports Dalton's has been a great mentor for young. I agree with you, In the 5th I wanted them to toss a pick on a QB and had eyes on Jordan Travis. Even at that point the hater rattler would have been welcomed in my eyes. I liked what the pats did after drafting maye, Milton has some talent. Purdy was drafted a long with lance. Cousins was drafted with rg3. Panthers already had delhome, I doubt that happens again for some time. They shouldn't be scare to add legit competition for young, this is the NFL. -

The people at the top of chiefs. bills, and 49ers the owners, coaches, GM are just light years better than panthers. Purdy was a life saver for 49ers, otherwise lynch and shanny would have been fired. I seen a recent report that after a few practices shanny told York purdy was the best QB on the roster. Better than jimmyg, lance, darnold. I hope Morgan and canalas show they close the gap, at least tepper spends plenty.......
