  1. Yep, this has gotten very odd. I mean not to rail on the guy or nothing, but did people see him at the combine?? https://x.com/nflnetwork/status/1895222232458330529 I mean Stacy dales is 6'0, but is she also 230 LBs?? He was a monster in film many times, but the eye test here is down right puzzling- Thats the smallest 6'4 296 person Ive seen. I maybe fooled by camera angle, but geez, he looks like a LS...... Plus has any other OLmen or DLmen lost 25-35 LBs ?? I think shemar lost weight, but he showed up looking like a Greek god and had insane measurables. Plus sure others are not doing drills, but Graham didn't do nothing drill wise. He is only guy I know of that "lost" 25-35 LBs and now gained back 10. I did learn he said his heel is injuries for the main excuse. (???) It's super sus. That PED rumor maybe legit.
  2. I seen somewhere they had 13.7million leftd in cap space. They at least 6 million for draft picks (unless they trade etc). Normally teams want to carry 10 million into a season for injuries. Soooooooo... I know this too, during the season the Panthers had to readjust d.j. wonnum contract cause they needed more for all the IR. At seasons end they only had 34,000 in space. It will be some 3million per deal and offered to both, but its only one contract.
  3. Yes, Evero is clearly on notice. I thought he would be a HC by now, he's lucky the Panthers didn't fire him after this history bad year. Scott did not fix nor help the defense, Im not going to defend that. I still think he could easily be cut and this is much about nothing. I felt your way about brenton bersin and I learn to blame the scouts, coaches, the GM for not bring in better players to keep the Scotts/bersin types off the roster. There's still time for that, it wouldn't take much for a UDFA safety to out-play Scott... Brandt and Dan got to upgrade this roster.
  4. No, but Im not a big fan. I mean start talking 4th round as the only cost and ....
  5. He's coming off a ACL injury(talk of him missing week 1) and one of the biggest cancer divas along with 31 age. Bonus-
  6. Michigan had there pro-day. He didn't do much, some drills- no 40, 3 cones etc etc. His weight is 306 up 10 LBs from combine Said his weight " His body is used to fluctuating weight " hmmmm He said teams do not care about his weight after watching film, surrrrrre pal..... I don't think he helped his draft stock or fully answered the weight questions, given his answer was "they don't care" which is a lie.
  7. Brother Im no Nick Scott fan or nothing. I feel its near impossible to judge players when the defense by some medics was the worst in NFL history. Have you ever been in a job where every-level had incompetence?? I started a job within the first week- I could not trust the drivers, the dock, or the machinist. I found myself looking after and re-checking other peoples jobs, well guess what- My management job suffered. I told the bosses son, they could not remain in business and as soon as I started I put in my two weeks. 1.5 years later after long time contracts died, they closed shop. Arob and many others (DL)had to play more snaps than normal. They were playing PS LBs signed form other teams in the late weeks. That's a recipe for disaster, especially for safety group. Colin Jones was able to play on those Panthers defenses and he was not a NFL DB, but the remaining 10 on the field made it so that 11th guy didn't matter. Half the 2024 defense group was not the right material, it makes everyone look bad. I mean the out comes for Scott are the following- never plays a down on defense or is cut during TC. Limit the harm, lols!!
  8. Im now 100% buying the Panthers main target is Mykel Williams.
  9. Normally this website has good history of players injuries, but not much this time https://www.draftsharks.com/fantasy/injury-history/julian-blackmon/10689 So I dug up a old stand by, its fillled with timeline news of their history, still good for games missed and overall feel for a player https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/julian-blackmon/6952/news
  10. You know what, I changed my mind. Whoever first said Mykel Williams knows the Panthers pick. Thats my top guess after I thought no one was going to know. Mykel Williams is the pick. 99%
  11. To all the Warren fans, back in Nov he was around late 2 early 3 ranks....
  12. That is the question Ive been figuring out to answer for weeks. My first answer was - I believe the LT run would start at 8. A team that wants the top OLmen, Panthers would be the team to dealt with. There's like 3 OLmen that could be draft here. Banks, Campbell, membou. Ashton Jeanty is the other. If he falls to 8th, it could force some team to jump up for. Sanders could fall until 8 and QB always bring a steep price. That's five names.
  13. You called a couple of the them too, I looked forward to your prediction!!
  14. I don't like it from the fact you can cause permit damage. I mean if we are Superbowl, then pop pills or inject the good stuff or whatever to play. Playing hurt is a big part of ball, I just felt two weeks and a young healer would be fine. He could have improved his numbers rather than hurt his draft stock. This is after the fact, unfair to mykel. My father sprained his ankle to the point that duke doctors wanted to perform surgery. Last minute they tired to case his foot in stead and see if that would prevent having extreme surgery. He got home and couple days pasted, called up his father in law HS football coach. He told my pops to cut off that case and dip his foot into the coldest water he could stand for 20 minutes followed by the hottest 20 minutes. Repeat 5 times. He did and was finally able to put weight on his foot afterwards. It finally got better and started to heal.
  15. Agree. This is just the David Moore of defense. He knows the system and his role. Willing to play 4 phase STs. Able to spot stater in dire times. Most important- cheap.
  16. At the beginning of draft research, I saw plenty of comments that Tmac was slow etc and not a yac guy. I watch him run away from DBs and get plenty of yac. I feel the key these anti-Tmac people are missing is QB play. That zona QB is awful and the reason for most of the 50/50 balls, Tmac would be open and wait for the broken duck pass to reach allowing the CB/DB to close. He still won. Im no warren fan, but just like him, Tmac was 100% of the show, the focus was stopping him.....it didn't work. Draft him Brandt/Dan!!
  17. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/44024373/nfl-draft-prospect-mykel-williams-was-injured-whole-year-georgia According to Williams, he played the whole 2024 with a bad ankle. He said "I played at less than 60%". I wonder if his ankle is permittly damaged then..... I don't get why a top ten guy wouldn't take a couple weeks off to heal fully. They had plenty of elite players to win without.... odd.
  18. I wasn't the biggest fan either, I just didnt like he was fitttererererers right hand in making the worse panther roster in history. I swear the 1995 team would beat them, easy. I do believe him when he says, he wants players that are all ball, that's their main focus. Many say that, but I believe Dan truly believes it. If you are not about NFL football, he will get rid of you fast. Ill say this too. Marty Herniay and Dave Guttlegut(almost with oher, but...) spend years trying and failing to "fix" the OL *with depth. Dan Morgan did that in one year. Sure he spent 163million on OGs and I disagreed, but it was worth it for one year. He got a HUGE mess on his hands, just the lack of talent is mind boggling. It takes time, years to fix the amount of problems. He's fixed the OL with deep depth, found a young HC with upside, attacked fixing a weak DL. I know this, he is trying and getting some positive results. Draft is super important like most years, he's got to nail that 8th pick...... its a long way to 57th. Trade, pass catcher, a difference maker is of great need. It matters big time the result from that pick.
  19. Not to poop on this, but I do not see him as a 3-4 fit. I mean hybrid DL and he's a freak. Freaks are easy to fit, but he's too small for end this year and he's never covered TEs, WRs, or RBs on passing routes so OLB is a long path. There's always pure 4-3 guys and pure 3-4 guys. Same for pure zone CBs. I think Williams is gifted and tough, but he's a pure 4-3 guy.
  20. @Bear Hands I think this is first year, maybe since 2014, I feel no one knows the pick. Shaq(2015?) was called by Zob, I remember it clear. Each year since someone called the pick couple weeks before. Still time to past until the the real news is leaked, but right now no one has the Panthers pick correct.
  21. I think you're on the right path. We only have one draft to go on with Dan,Brandt, and Dave. If you focus on that, it was showing they drafted for 2 years into the future. Like you said, football stuff happened with brooks re-injuring his knee. The Wallace and Sanders picks look better today than they did draft day. Even part of XL could be a 2025 reason. You never want to rely on rookies to start for you especially at QB, CB, DL, LT..... I've looked over the roster, roughly its 19 on offense and 19 on defense with 2 STer By my numbers, guessing, think like Dan, history, etc etc. They need 2-3 WRs 2- TEs 1- returner that's either RB or WR *But like you listed future needs will be RT and C ___________________________________________________________ 2- edges/OLB/ends 1- DLmen 2- Safety 1-2 MLBs *No true future issue, its the same right now.. 1- Kicker rough numbers= 25 offense + 25 defense + 3 STers = your 53 roster. I think you could lean on PS for some insurance about 2026 problems. Raym could be the backup C in 2026(they gave him big UDFA money and he stay on the roster for half year and PS the other) Brandon Walton could be a super sleeper pick to replace Motown. He followed the staff from TB and stayied the whole PS yeat. The coaches must like him enough Dominique Dafney comes from the best TE coach in college, he could serve this year as #4 TE and maybe #3 in 2026.
  22. This is game changing- New Orleans Saints 2017 Draft Picks: Round 1, Pick 11 - Marshon Lattimore, DB, Ohio State Round 1, Pick 32 - Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin Round 2, Pick 42 - Marcus Williams, DB, Utah Round 3, Pick 67 - Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee Round 3, Pick 76 - Alex Anzalone, LB, Florida Round 3, Pick 103 - Trey Hendrickson, DE, Florida Atlantic Round 6, Pick 196 - Al-Quadin Muhammad, DE, Miami
  23. They never had one, that just shows how hard they come by. This one is close just not the total kockout, but elite talent is there. Round (Pick No.) Name College Years with Carolina 1 (11) LB Dan Morgan Miami (Fla.) 2001-07 2 (44) DT Kris Jenkins Maryland 2001-07 3 (74) WR Steve Smith Utah 2001-13 4 (106) QB Chris Weinke Florida State 2001-06 5 (143) S Jarrod Cooper Kansas State 2001-04 6 (175) RB Dee Brown Syracuse 2001-02 7 (211) C Louis Williams LSU 2001-02 7 (227) TE Mike Roberg Idaho Weinke was a OK backup and Cooper was a ST demon. Just need a couple more to at least make the team for years. Still ranked great and best Id say in Panthers history.
  24. Just no matter how you do(within reason), if you get 2 top level starters and 1 top backup/STer. It's a good draft. Anyone that disagrees, pick a team that you hold in high draft regard. And look at the draft history, what I said remains true. There are course changing drafts, were you hit on 6 out of the eight picks and your team changes for the good. Seahawks, saints, rams have had them and the effects last years...
