I believe they will put a KC, unless someone gets nutty with a Jimmy G offer. In 2022 trade Jimmy g for a 2nd/whatever and roll with Jones(I still can not buy it)/lance. Jimmy was traded to SF and they still made him wait one month before starting. That system for a rookie/anyone takes time to understand. Kyle doesnt want to ruin a QB by throwing him without basic undestanding of his O.

I 99.9% sure Friterer called to check in. Reed was also known as a great locker-room guy and teammate. It was said Reed wanted a long term contract, dont know if can be fit into in panthers plan. Reed may can not get a long term deal either, check himself and take a one year deal. I think panthers have a decent chance, like 35% to sign Reed.

I dont blame players for taking the big money, bank account > maybe playoffs. Besides the top level players, not big difference if the 3rd string Center is a superbowl winner. Nice to be called that the rest of your life, but superbowl rings dont pay bills/taxes. Unless you can guarantee me a superbowl win in the contract, Im going take the bigger contract.... Our owner/coach broadcast to the world his intense thirst for adding a QB, MORE than a few times. Im not surprised that other fan bases feel this way. Only way they should move up two spots, if they LOOOOVE a QB and other teams have offers as well. They must be real team offers, not fairy tales either. Dolphins are easy to read, it looks like have a WR in their plans. I would be pissed if the panthers trade up and come the 8th pick Sewell/Chase/lance is still there. Frittererer needs to have a clear mind. 8th will have a elite rookie talent with the way the draft is unfolding.

Players been playing 17 games worth of snaps for years now, plus if you reach the playoffs its more games so well. I'll start with the pre-season first- 1st game starters play about one quarter +, 2nd game the same, 3rd (most times) full half+, and 4th game a couple of series. +/- depending on teams and some elite starters dont play at all or none of the 4th. Add all that up its over a games snaps. If you have a deep playoff run, thats at least 3-4 more games. Ugh.....the patriots had a 10 year run in which certain players had a full season more than other team/players. That was a inside joke during that time with them, signing a pats contract came with taking less cause contracts length didnt include playoff games(certain bonuses do, not high amounts tho).

Fanspeak is simple as well and you can pick different ranking boards. Ive used others (draft network, profootball network etc) and always came back to fanspeak. The others with trading, just too far unrealistic for my taste. Thats a down-side about fanspeak, no trades. They update as well, give it a couple rounds.

Going "madden bro" on this, but on my mock drafts my go-to for 2nd round is Jalen Mayfield. Hes there about 80% of the time and a great follow to picking a QB first. I know after the 2nd panthers pick, the OT value falls into space. Had some luck with getting Little and Smith around the 4th, but if you want a stater level OT, you must use one of the first two picks.

Huddle also wanted Watson at all cost and it did not matter if the OL was Mud puddles and snow cones. Point out what happened to Cam, no one remember...... Point out Watsons ACL tears in each knee.......sticks head further in sand. Point out Watsons record with team with similar talent level, head is further in earths core. I want the same thing since Fittererer started, patience. Team (even with luck) is at least one full year form being a playoff maybe. Focus on adding young talent and depth across the WHOLE team.

Theres truth in not wanting a QB to sit on the bench for 2 years. I agree its not wise and you waste 2 years of cheap QB. I just feel they will not be in another position to get a QB of Fields/Lances' level in the coming years. Either of them would be the 1st overall in 2022 and who knows maybe 2023-on. Just to add, you have the rookie QB for 8 years of control, the option for 8 years. 5th year and 3 tag years, so him sitting on 1-2 isnt the worst. Besides they could take the bullet(dead cap) and trade Ryan in 2022, start a true rebuild. Best QB in the world sat for 1 year and signed a half billion deal. Ryan is also at the age where injuries start happening more too. If you feel the QB is elite, you dont pass on him cause dead cap QB issues.
