  1. Want the panthers to hold firm at 8 or a 49er like trade offer happens. Be happy with Pitts, Chase, Sewell, or a personal want Kwity Paye! Since the Darnold trade, I dont buy the QB talk. Ive given up the keys to the Lance spaceship..... but would support him if the panthers go in that odd direction.
  2. Ive seen somewhere the panthers had already meet with Pitts 3 times. History and recent history shows TE rarely get picked in the top ten. This draft has 4-5 QBs, 3 WRs, and 2 OT/OLmen that are ranked right next to Pitts or above. Its possible he will be passed over. Im a TE nut, but will not say a stud TE is worth more than a stud WR.
  3. Hes 20 years old and already a bear. Slater looks in better shape currently.
  4. Before I got further, answer this simple question- Was the week 16 win against WFT worth 2021 12th overall, 2022 1st & 3rd, and 2023 1st? Yes or No.
  5. Win culture are wrong, 100%. BUT the one saving grace form that mistake is this- Im about 90% sure theyd kept the 3rd pick, even after 49ers insane offer and drafted Mac "*******" Jones. ] Plus LOLOLOLOL at the win culture morons thinking that win is worth more than 3 firsts(one being 12th this years) and a 4th.
  6. Im not Slater guy either, but one of biggest issues for rookie OL is they need full season of NFL strength program. Slater is about the only one who doesnt need that, idk about Sewell even with his good pro-day. He had the best 3 cone too, that is one of the best tools for OL success. Derrick Brown looks the part and all, but Id rather gone with Beston, Wirfs, or Wills.......LOL at Daves pick being the current worst one form the group. Glad hes gone too.
  7. Got to put James Hudson somewhere on this list, he maybe in the top 5.....
  8. Safety is my and many other teams least valued spot out of the normal 22. They always drop. I think at the 39th pick the smart pick will be either DL or OL(even if they drafted OL in the 1st). But panthers are not known for smart moves. Plus the best spot for depth on the panthers seems to be safety.
  9. Thats me after the Darnold trade. Each still have some level of hope they reach the Panthers. Pitts- its ultra rare for TE to be draft in the top 7. Especially with stud WRs and QB on the same level Chase- 4 or 5 QB land in the top seven. miami listens to their Bama QB and takes Waddle. Chase falls to panthers Sewell- QBs, WRs......O MY!!! Sewell acts his age and needs coaching....shocking huh? Penalize him for convid-out, fine by me if hes there for panthers. Simple math only 7 players can be drafted before pick 8. If 49ers take Jones that greatly helps one of the non-QBs to fall to the Panthers. All they have to do is wait and not take the cheese like 49ers did.
  10. The defend Watson crew have gone away like Watsons tiny itchy towel when his Instagram masseuse enters the room. Watson needs smarter friends, how on earth do you not pay off these women and get help.
  11. God dam Bama for making these "2nd" pro days a thing...
  12. Not after Fritterere pushed more money into the future years. _____________________________________________________________________________ Pitts, Chase are my picks if Sewell is gone. My personal pick is Kwity Paye.
  13. I got no clue about what type of front Snow wants. My guess is they dont either. About using Brown, Id much prefer its NOT NT role. No idea about KK, it may have been lip service about him coming back. Form looking at the current DT free agents, it does have some names. 45 got MUCH higher grades on DTs than I do. IMO maybe 3-4 worthily of 1-3 round selections. For me starting early 5th/late 4th it picks up fast to where the value is worth it. Fox should have a big role for the DL too. My guess is Phil wants to both 3-4 and 4-3 looks with the same group.
  14. Im with this, even though I hate taking a high risk with the first two picks.
  15. Im giving him a listen, feel I need 3 lines of coke to understand.....
  16. Got-to coach these guys up! Im still unsure if he can handle OT, but I know thats where he'd start for me. He did a fine job in the SEC, where the best DE/OLBs are. The one-on-one drills are little unfair to OL too, still he did struggle. Hes one of those "depends on how the draft falls" types.
  17. True, I still dont have a good grasp on what type of DT they want/need.
  18. WTFs released 5 players, one of them is TE Thad Moss played for Brady at LSU. He was at the top of my UDFA 2020 list, still need TEs. I think panthers already have 72 players signed, if you add 7 rookies that only leaves 11 open spots. Past time, need to start getting picking...
  19. MF about any Steve "basketball "expert" " Smith opinions...
  20. Huddle needed this badly, thanks @The Huddler
  21. I like Little some, as in 4th round love. Unless theres a insane run on OT and hes there in the 3rd round, sure. I did catch some of the pro-day, he didnt look NFL ready. I know there was some 2019 1st smoke and then he had a injury AND then he opt-outed. He looked like a drive bar bouncer and his numbers where meh as well. But Im an line-whore(mainly DL) and he plays OT, so why the hell not.
  22. Not bad at all and this could very well happen. Its unheard having 5 QB go before 8, but this is the year it may pop the cherry. One minor issue is Grant going 2nd is tooo soon for me and I know Rhule raved about him. Safety maybe the one spot with decent depth(depends on Chinn too). I really like Sam Franklin at safety and the coaches like Burris big time. Just not a spot of focus for me in the draft.
  23. My best current one- https://fanspeak.com/ontheclock-nfl-mock-draft-simulator/draft.php?d=xfrhxe Every single player draft here, has a chance to start right now. 8: R1 P8 TE Kyle Pitts - Florida 39: R2 P7 G Alijah Vera-Tucker - USC 73: R3 P9 OT Dillon Radunz - North Dakota State 113: R4 P8 CB Trill Williams - Syracuse 151: R5 P7 EDGE Shaka Toney - Penn State 193: R6 P9 OT D'Ante Smith - East Carolina 222: R6 P38 LB Tony Fields II - West Virginia
  24. Word is Moton wants top LT money, thats 23+ million per.......Its been that way for years too. I say tag his ass again in 22, explore trades and either play it out or get some picks. Hes in the top 8 RT, no issues off-field and a great pro. But Im not willing to coming to even 20 million per for Moton. Need to plan for a Moton-less future right now. Since 2017, Ive been begging for the panthers to draft 2 OT each year!!! By 2019 I gave up and asked around. Seems the old staff mainly John Matsko viewed every OT after the top 5, as street level talent...... So they never spent a mid-late rounder on OT, nothing to develop "cause current street FAs are just good". Look Im aware that college rules have made it difficult, but you can not give up, thats horse poo. Im ALLLLL for adding talented players and first the draft falls to where Sewell is the first and Jenkins is there at 39, DRAFT HIM.(so long no medicals issues). Jenkins can play some OG this year, or be the best insurance. I mean come trade-deadline and panthers are out of it and Some playoff team has a Stanley injury hit.... deal Moton for boat load of picks..
  25. Most important part of the draft. BY FAAR.
