Its weird cause Gil Brandt said he hear good reports, then a couple days later cut. PS is not big time stuff, you mainly play the role of that weeks QB on the scout team. Learn lots of plays and get time against the 1s. Not bad for someone like Newman, it does hurt bad when you are a OTA cut....even more while its at a teams weak spot too. But many times players are cut not cause of skill or talent, it could hes a jerk, pissed off the wrong person, late to a meeting, fought with a important teammate, gambled, walks around naked too much, smells bad, etc etc.

How about the panthers make a cat bro trade with jags for Gardner Minshew, 6th or 5th is what the price is. Cut Grier and let him go do the cry part like most Instagram stars do in the cycle, he could milk it for months. Walker is now your PS guy. Only issue I see........Minshew would beat out Darnold thus making the panthers trade a 2+ for the backup........BUT only a 6th for the starter and hes cheap too...

I think Finesser himself said the trade Giants got was better than the one offered to him, I think it was overheard during the long offseason recap vid. Bears upped their offer cause he kept on falling and were scared about losing him. I think the panthers offer did not even include the future 1.....

I got them at 6-11. I feel the playoff talk is one more year away. Just like many teams, the play form the QB could put the panthers in the playoffs this year.

You are correct, that 3 is a hard one tho. Roddy White, Horn, Vjackson, Moose, colston, Meshawn(what are the rules for this?) are a few that give a young Evans a run for 3....in fact I would place Roddy White at 3 this year and by seasons end Evans would pass him.

The thing that hurts my take is Horn already looks like a 5 year pro. His father has been getting him the best coaches since he could walk. Just the best rookie CB last year Jeff Okudah looked like a street UDFA, Tony pride played better..... It just happens with rookie CB, horn does have a decent chance at breaking that tho. I am not putting anything with Horn exceptions-wise. Horn does need to practice with oven mitts til he can hold his own....then start with the Sherman slick holding 800 IQ lockdown tech...

If they are running the zone blocking system, I think he could give panthers quality snaps this year. Up the middle he'll be gaining big chucks. More impressive the second time and he does decent hands(recs) too. I hope both CMC and CHuba are on the field at the same time for a few snaps as well.

If youre like me and not huge fans of the following big time moves- Elf, Erv(seen where hes already in a red jersey), and ginger cringer. The draft on the first two days and only Marshall I super pumped about....well I can come to a understand with this. Normally CB struggle hardcore as rookies, Slater may have been the better choice....but Horn is a panther and he was the best healthy CB. But just getting rid of Herniay gives the panthers a successful off-season.

When the falcons traded up for Jones, I thought they waay overpaid. 100% false, Jones ended up being one of the best WR in NFL history. He had abnormal size and skills for WR, moved like a fast twitchy 5'9 slot but was a real 6'3 230 LBs....He also overcame foot issues that I thought were going end his career in the middle. Hamstring last year and hes on the end of a elite career, still a threat tho.

I thought Finesser should have not trade the 2nd pick and drafted Eichenburg. He had the best chance to start this season, last real LT in the draft. I just do not see how a 32 inch arm Christ is going to work as a LT, unless they go FULL zone blocking w/ heavy movement(which would hurt Brown and Moore...). Chirst ends up at OG, LG and thats where my odds are. LT just needs to be at the top of needs (unless ginger...) AGAIN next year.... Only way those ranking work if your include QB. Otherwise its a dumpster water take to believe Pre-2020 Curtis Samuel is worth 12 freaking spots. PFF has lots of predicting and projecting in those ranking, so again its up to you and that stat statement as their guide. David Moore, Marshall Jr, and Smith are better than 2020's 3-6, PFFFffff should moved panthers into the top 5 ranking. Plus Dallas at 2nd over all...... I try all I could, drink up and be merry my guy. Drink up that pre-season 2020 8th overall panther ranking as well. You hit on two things that stuck with me. The volume of children, I seen 50+ and it 100% wrecked me. You like I never felt sorry for myself, plus I prided myself on not complaining at all.
