Panthers release first depth chart of 2024
Basbear replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's my deal, I was following a couple years before panthers media picked up the term. I thought well "sure yes Id like to draft a guy that's similar to JJ watt".....but like you said the results have been buns. I've de-valued it cause after years the results are poor. I thought during- well the NFL is moving more and more towards less contact/hitting/tackling. I felt the track stars would finally make their way on the field, but......not the case % wise. I was thinking "Al Davis was right alllll along.....". I think a huge issue is the training for those RAS events, they nearly have the events down to a science about training. It gives you a false sense cause Jimmy Bowers has been training on his 40 yard start for weeks and shaved .857 off his time. -

Agree on all and Im a former RAS nerd. I still feel if you're in the 5-7 rounds and you have a two guys with similar grades, pick the higher RAS guy. But the return on these guys is poor, thus making me drop the value. Season has not started, but if Dan gets near NOTHING out of the first three draft picks, that's got to be discussed. Like you said least talented team and Dan is struggling to add.....time to look else where. Pressure is on. I mean besides 4th rounder Sanders, I doubt anyone has any impact minus some ST snaps. He may have found a couple UDFAs, but that not going to cover his draft. -

Panthers release first depth chart of 2024

Yes, his first draft is already being tested it feels. Plus not using the wavier claim while being 1st. Then his FA class was odd as well. I get projecting your QB and all, but spending 163 million on OGs......ugh. I still feel given the state of the roster being at the lowest point in panthers history, he needs yearS to even start to fix this. I did love his Johnson trade and he had got great value for a 2nd rounder with getting a future one to replace the young trade loss. Cap-wise he's already got a mess with the 50 million dead space and next year is looking like 30 dead as well. He needs to correct the huge issue there, so he can waste more on OGs...... 1st thing he can is simply get talent. -

Jamie Robinson is listed as a NCB and the last guy there.....RIP. 6th rounder Crumedy is behind some no name guy. For Me having TMJ in the top 6 is a little surprise. -
Even if you included rookies, BY is player with the most to gain form live snaps. What in the wide world of sports is going on?!??! The only only only reason I see is if Colbert and/or both starting are too injuried to play. Like they feel hes in danger or some BS.... Still he needs to PLAY, period!! fuging silly mickey mouse BS going on about young.

Back again, doesn't the mind control the legs?? Or the nervous system that sends the signal to move?? How did he press the chair buttons??... -
I foresee Nathan Peterman as the next Panther QB

That's a odd way to spell Nathan Peterman... -
Panthers shore up tight end room with a Sunday signing

I know the name and its a good signing at this point. -
Brother you better start. Reports are he's having trouble with the calls and has about 5 ultra low snaps each practice.
-
Browns just recently cut a former starting one and he's only 28- Brandon Allen(sp?)fyi I think the rams were planning on making Colbert the starting C and Allen won the job the last week of TC. there's Conner Williams and he stated last year , but coming off a ACL. Took a physical and the reports are he wants more money. seahawks are like the Panthers low on cash. after that, its awful thin. Honestly Larson whom played here many moons ago as a super sub, is the best pick. Just sad, they have not had a NT in 2 years and now in 90 man camp with no one that had a single NFL snap and only one college player that mained C. poor young.....

Sounds to me like they need to get him a better fitting cleat. I bet no one has even thought to out-fit him with custom ones. -

Why didn't professor X just move his legs with his mind powers?!?!? -
The last small bit of " draft give a fug " was near gone after that trade for the the injured brooks. The one spot you could say " well at least there's some depth there " was RB with Hubbard, inches, and blackshear. Even had penny in here and you know some UDFA would have turned some heads too... It felt like the last straw, then to hear Morgan go " The RB are important to us ", ........well for the past 20 years the league has de-valued them Danny boy....same for your 3rd round pick...... Brooks needs to break some panthers records now to make people forget. My friend said a couple days after the draft- "Dan just drafted like he was still playing".. too true. Should have just kept fox or even RR along fuging Marty herinay, cause it felt just like it they were still here but the team is much worse.

I believe he was outside, but that was before the injury. Seemed to be on a good path. I mean time-wise its been over year and he should be in great current shape.
