I understand, right there with you. Little cap space with little talent is the worst. I just want some sort of stable OL, before putting a highly invested resource behind it. So many example, recent examples - Luck, Burrow, Carr, CAm, darnold. Each where ruined by awful OLs. I DO NOT what to repeat recent history, Ive learned and aware. Great part is, with some luck....2022 the panthers will have a stable roster and ready to compete for a playoff spot.

All the rumors point to him wanting LT/top tier money. All Ive heard about Moton is hes a true professional. Hard worker, no off-field worries, and very smart. No idea about how his agents will handle this. Honestly before it gets messy, you could tag and trade him. Personally I wouldnt pay top LT money. He could play out the tag if thats the case. A issue is RT money is very close to what LT money is now. If you only will play for top LT money, sorry we do not know youre able to play 16 games there. Play the tag at LT and go form there, if thats his issue. Other options tag&trade/reach a fair contract.

How long have the panthers been fixing the OL? The new GM came form Seattle, how long have they been fixing the OL? You also have no issues with Watson behind whatever OL the panthers have in 2021, forget even going to ask about depth.. I always hate it when the good ones leave the living. It seems booze had its iron grip on him, but he still made real efforts to give back to the people/community. Going to be a sad day when Warrick Dunn is gone too, NFL needs more Warrick Dunns. Thomas Davis has done a great job and hes retiring this year too. List the starting OL, LBs, TE, CBs, and top depth/backups. Keep in mind panthers cap space, which should be around 40 million. fyi 13 is needed for moton tag, 10 rookie pool, and 8(maybe 10) for in season signings. After you figure out what type of OL and top backup youve made, would you put a star QB behind it without fear? fyi remember David Carr, Burrow, Darnold, Cam and Luck when you think about this. Thats me, its a toss of the same coin. One is better currently, but the is other is younger and more years. Before Kerr got convid, he was looking like a legit starter/top-rotation player. Hes a great locker guy, hes popular among his peers. Plus I like to have a few of those types- happy, hard-working, earned everything types on the roster. I like Roy, hes on the same path as kerr imo. Its a tad redundant with two that play the same spot. I still want a legit starting DT next to brown. Who knows Roy could show up to camp ready for that role and force the panthers to start him. Roy plays hurt, Rhule and me love that trait.

What about Norwell, Turner, and D Williams?? Each either where 1st team ALL-pro or 2nd during their time here. ALso resigned R Kalil, could have let him walk or trade him. So for about 3 full season the OL was Norwell-Kalil-Turner-Williams. Kalil also made 1/2nd ALL-pro. Before MKalil, he signed Michael Oher. He was still "young" at 28 and had a bad concussion that ended his career. So again tired to replace LT... Drove his van to the casino and place 55 million on 75, it busted hard, but he tired. SO all you people that make that statement, need to re-think it. Plus did I mention he had negative cap space for the first 2 full years, and barley stable year 3?
