Huddle needed this badly, thanks @The Huddler

I like Little some, as in 4th round love. Unless theres a insane run on OT and hes there in the 3rd round, sure. I did catch some of the pro-day, he didnt look NFL ready. I know there was some 2019 1st smoke and then he had a injury AND then he opt-outed. He looked like a drive bar bouncer and his numbers where meh as well. But Im an line-whore(mainly DL) and he plays OT, so why the hell not.

Not bad at all and this could very well happen. Its unheard having 5 QB go before 8, but this is the year it may pop the cherry. One minor issue is Grant going 2nd is tooo soon for me and I know Rhule raved about him. Safety maybe the one spot with decent depth(depends on Chinn too). I really like Sam Franklin at safety and the coaches like Burris big time. Just not a spot of focus for me in the draft.

Panthers prospect pro day workouts/meetings thread

Word is Moton wants top LT money, thats 23+ million per.......Its been that way for years too. I say tag his ass again in 22, explore trades and either play it out or get some picks. Hes in the top 8 RT, no issues off-field and a great pro. But Im not willing to coming to even 20 million per for Moton. Need to plan for a Moton-less future right now. Since 2017, Ive been begging for the panthers to draft 2 OT each year!!! By 2019 I gave up and asked around. Seems the old staff mainly John Matsko viewed every OT after the top 5, as street level talent...... So they never spent a mid-late rounder on OT, nothing to develop "cause current street FAs are just good". Look Im aware that college rules have made it difficult, but you can not give up, thats horse poo. Im ALLLLL for adding talented players and first the draft falls to where Sewell is the first and Jenkins is there at 39, DRAFT HIM.(so long no medicals issues). Jenkins can play some OG this year, or be the best insurance. I mean come trade-deadline and panthers are out of it and Some playoff team has a Stanley injury hit.... deal Moton for boat load of picks.. -
Most important part of the draft. BY FAAR.

All they owe is the 10, panthers can make it easy or get dirty. Again the big issue is panther cap saving vs panther dead cap. They can cut him right now, plus they have one extra post June cut. Most QBs/players want to find their bearings in training camp with new team-mates. Most coaches want QBs on the team asap, that was a reason for Darnold trade. It takes time to learn a new language/verbiage, timing with WRs/TEs, and new environment.

Got 6 more picks to address the O. DL talent falls into a black-hole after Paye gets selected. 2-6 have has plenty of O talent, DL starts back in round 5ish. -
All true. My increase would come form getting Teddys' contract reduced to make it possible for a team to give up an asset. Not buying Ians' report, I believe its teams asking - "when you cut him, can you send us his medicals....k thanks bu-bye" I see it as a turning a negative into a positive, in everything thats a hard task to accomplish. Fritts talks Teddy/agent into pay cut AND finds a sucker....I....mean smart team looking for a mentor to trade for him..... first time Fritts will give me hope hes legit GM.

That 7 is not guaranteed, panthers could cut him today and hed get only the 10 million. The issue is dead cap for the panthers, that would add up to 15 million in dead cap(rough numbers) this season. Thats the biggest issue cap saving vs dead cap. Seems like they are on talking terms, teddy could hold firm about wanting ________ . Now it gets messy. His contract has active game bonuses and week one bonus(I think that is tied to 7 million). Panthers *could* use the deactivate tool like Tampa Bay did with Meshawn Johnson. Make up a reason like - " Gave a inappropriate look to Sir Purr". Tell him hes not longer allowed on team grounds. No bonus or NFL snaps for Teddy. They also could wait until the day before the first game of the season to release him too. Now hes faaaar behind and an after thought for teams who already have their 53 rosters set. I believe its already to the point where Teddys ID card doesnt work nor the number code. Its a understanding of sorts. Teddy may want to stay fresh, get practice reps, and find his bearings on a new team. Its better than losing a prime year of your career. Panthers know Teddy wants a real shot at starting, thats the benefit to Teddy. Panthers would give Chipboard jesus or walker the keys before Teddy at this point. Teddy also needs to be where he is wanted, thats NOT at 800 South Mint Street, Charlotte, NC.

Theres plenty of bad/questionable moves this off-season, par tho. Im still not buying any team wants Teddy above a lower vet type deal. Hes got to give up that 7 million and maybe then (with other stuff), a team would take him as a mentor/insurance guy. Hes going to be getting than starting Cam too...Herniaymagic leftd a upper decker in Teppers office.....

I just like to state this- Panthers lose WFT game. 3rd pick is theirs, they turn down 49ers mega-offer and draft Mac "********" Jones.
-
I thought he was headed to Dallas?

Love this pic-

Ill say this- Scot Fritterer is putting in work and it shows. He hasnt slowed down since the Darnold trade.

Report: CB AJ Bouye close to deal with Panthers
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Person is the best beat report we got(paaaiiiin). He was right about the panthers being only interested in Sunshine and Wilson. He is lacking hard in the "contacts" deal, I feel they feed him bad/wrong infro most times.
