He looked like the best overall player in the whole draft one game, next game UDFA. I hate those types with a passion. If the new staff can solve that, watch out NFL I was driving the Trey lance starship. Plus didnt fields have the worse 1st game in NFL history, something like 46(or was it 14 yards?) yards and like 2 ints? Found his barrings on route to a couple good ones and then a couple Sam Darnold ones. He'd be the clear #1 in this class, one team would trade the world for his rights.

Fyi People are joining the walker #1 hype, hes nuclear hot right now. My hardest read is Hamilton, best overall player on a many boards, but plays S. I go back and forth daily about him going top 3 then wake up clear mind with him closer to 10. I like your panther trade and i 100% think philly and carolina have already talked about that same trade. Its one of those win-win-wins and makes too much sense. I did not care for Fields, but 20/20 hindsight blah blah.... I suuuure would take Fields over ALL the QBs in this class 10/10. They believed in Sam, faaar too much, that is about the 5th massive QB mistake this gang has made, including passing on fields and even mac "peak malebod " jones. Even Davis Millis is better than any QB in this draft(even before his season). I need to bump some of my older Davis Millis comments, more than few and right as rain...

Im not ready to stamp/call the 2020 class, tho if you force me to make a statement, it did overall disappoint(mainly due to a injuries). Just my rule never to judge a class until the 2nd full off-season(*unless they are cut or all-pros). So this coming year is huge for that huge class. The biggest jump in ones career is form the 1st to 2nd year, *normally*. Horn is back, TMJ should be ready, Christ looked ok, Tre is the current #2 in O that likes TEs, hubbard wellll....., Nixon looked good with limited snaps coming off ACL, Taylor played great for a 5th, Smith welll........ Brown got a new chance with power type line, LS what a joke......., Hoskins looked great as a 7th. Mixed bag, i need to see who took the current off-season to grow. Just happens the panthers do have a decent haul at the value part of the draft(4-7). Last year the value part was late second til 4th.

Opposite can happen as well, Howell was thought of as the easy 1st overall among many... As a group the NFL is much better, but no one can predict the future thus far...weak teams are much better at drafting than 10 years ago. Theres far less 6th/late round players that turn into elites.

Also missing our 4th, got the Rams 4th, thats SB winning waaay back pick. My simple line of thought is its either Neal or trade back for a juicy haul. It feels this year the late 4th-7th has the best "value". No cream, but the bottom bun is heavily heaven...Once its over the UDFA may be the best in recent history as well. Lots of teams have turned in the most scouting reports ever. That means they feel theres more draftable players and not to mention coofus had a effect, bigger than some are seeing. I hope Tepper doesnt hold back for the UDFA pool, like he did for Watson...

I thinki most teams are willing to wait until the comp pick formula/draft is over. Unless the player is willing to sign for much less than they want.

Before his senior year Joe Borrow was thought of as a 5th rounder at best. Lots of change happens in one year for some. Other examples.

I think one will be gone by panthers 6th. Giants should be in the market for a QB, who knows if they believe one of the remaining QBs is worth the 5th.....that also could be a great trade spot for a team that feels the panthers are center sun hot for pickett/willis/corral. 2 *could be picked before 6th, its not insane thinking now.... If you asked me about where QBs were going months ago, I thought it was a struggle to have more than one in the mid-late range(and that team is stoopid). Now is what you see above.

If Finesserer knows its for a QB, you can squeeze A LOT harder. Its sorta like if I called a food catered company and need food for 200= one price. Call them up and say I need catered food for wedding size 200 = one price x 30%.

Yea its like most of the posters here bypassed their 8-27 years and woke up as 28 year old angels. I member one of my lucky deals. At a high class wild party. Im with my gf and its towards to end of the relationship. Im having a good time, in fact enjoying myself. The gf, is not having any of it and unimpressed with the surrounding. In walk some performers, fire tossers, jugglers, exotic animals on hot women....... gf- "WTF is that?!?! SO......why......(over and over)" High ceiling mansion and they put on one hell of display. (even had a midget running around tapping people on and side, then run off, too funny for the hour+). Well gf could not NOT be the center of attention, so soon after they left.....she jumps up on the huge dinner room table and starts dancing........You name it or think it. That ordeal flames out(i did pick up over a couple hundred bucks...) Somehow she gos back to "Im not having fun, lame etc....)mode. "I want to go home, take me home..." Never one to fight and she knew that....now Im about 1.5 bottles of jack into this. Ask my host friend to borrow one of cars, to drive Ms. "I gotz to be the center of attention" to her home(about 25 miles away). Tosses me the keys to his suped-up supra and out the door we sent....o btw I took another sealed bottle of jack with me..... Turn on the music, LOUD and start down the highway slippin while driving. She finally stops long enough for me to enjoy the tunes..... Im flying now cannt even tell Im going 130ish..smilin too..... Well if you never go that fast, you dont understand how fast you pass things. I past a cop and freaked out, i should have kept going, but I slowed down to a respectable 75ish. Again you can image the noise coming for passager side as I also tuned down the tunes..... Nothing happened and the cop even passed me back......compete shock, ghost face.......Dropped off the problem and went straight to my home and thanked the lucky starts along the way.....Phones calls and next morning nosey neighbors end this story.

At one point many moons ago, I thought Howell was in the discussion at 6th. One weekend I dove in and he was the one player I truly soured on badly....I dont even have him in the top 6 QBs(of a class i hate) and the 6th QB I never researched....... Avoid til late 4th-5th at best. He needs to land at the perfect 3rd QB deal and pray. Plus dont spend any of the NFL bucks...

Starting in last October, I dont think any QB was worth a 1st. Time passed, same deal if not worst. More time passed- no QB is worth a pick until mid-2nd at best. ......... About three-five weeks ago, well some team/s will draft a QB in the first, but not the top 10. Seahawks make a trade, senior bowl, combine happen, well one QB could get drafted in the top ten. 3 are going 1st. Current - one QB will be picked in the top five, 2% chance at two. 3 are locks in the first. Remind myself- all it takes is 1 out of 32 to value a player. Teams make mistakes and my QB opinion doesnt mean squat to those teams.

I think the draft will be just as crazy as this past 1st wave of free agency. QBs just vast difference of opinions and they are the king&queens of this leagues. I think 8 teams have multi 1sts, just going to lots of moving. Theres going to a run on either/both of the LT-DE-edge groups, some teams will panic and some will be ready. Theres even talk about wanting future picks form a few teams. I also think there will be a couple of trades for current players for picks, rare but this should be a crazy one. The teams that are best prepared will win the draft. Bucket up AND put a helmet on!

I think Walker is going high and I think NFL teams agree. In fact- Id take Walker over Hutchinson 10/10. Penning feels better than Cross and had a great combine/senior bowl. I spend one weekend hitting on the cream of this class, with Cross I never got a firm opinion. Not his fault, team strategy was get the ball out fast and not enough rushing attempts. But that school is maybe the best at making LTs, props to coaching and recruiting. Thib is one of those were some teams will have him off the board or 2nd-3rd round grade. Others will have him as a top 5 lock, are those teams drafting in the top five??? idk...
