  1. Dont tell anyone but I had offered Chuck on one his 4,598 alts that Jamin Davis would have the better year over Parsons.......................... Parsons should have gotten a few DMVP votes, in the three games I watch, he was a game changer......super impressive. Best D rookie since ADarnold. I even remember him doing pushups on the sideline cause he needed the work.....legit and I was wrong about him not being worth a top ten pick.
  2. It's correct, the WR salaries are insane and nearly QB levels. You could put TMJ here too if he lives up to his hype. props to panthers staff.
  3. This thread is a good window in the current thoughts and actions of people. It's maybe the biggest problem the USA is facing- defending wrong. Dislike someone, some group, some opinion, some numbers, now you have to dig in deep and hate everyone else about that person/group/topic etc. Just sad. What happened.....
  4. I would take iants two 1st for the 6th, try to squeeze a couple late rounders...but i would do it for 2 in the mid.
  5. I need more points. top 6 jump form 29 is a whole different deal. Many teams only give 16 players 1st round grades. Im not getting a first rounder in talent if you are drafting 29th. Plus all the work the scouts put in and now the plan is totally different? Nah I need more.. as busta says- "gimmie some moar!"
  6. Its fine, minor draft fun addition.
  7. Yea i need more than that. About my fav moment form the draft late year was Tepper- " DONT CALL US WITH NEGATIVE POINTS!!!!" While Finnesser and Rhule were in full war room mode. 1-6th is a prime spot.
  8. Just a nice fair friendly bet, no mortgages involved. Just ava picture rights and lite ribbing.
  9. @LinvilleGorge I came up with a good fair bet. Terms- If howell is drafted 1-29 you win. 30th= push 31 and back me Avatar rights until first real panther game. Deal?
  10. I take 1,2,3 for 16 everytime. I know the unwritten rule is a future pick is worth one round less than a now pick. Doesnt work with 1st, and frankly that saints pick has a better chance at being much better than 16 next year. It is a comp 3rd, still a great pick and better than 4-7. Again simply the trade is for 1st for 1st, and iggles get a future 2nd and comp 3rd. Even the value number is off the on trade charts. Iggles had 3 ones and that allowed this trade. You could get about ANY player in the league for a 1,2,3 even if two are in the 23-24. This is Everette Brown Smarty Marty Herniay bad and it can be waaaaaaay worse if the saints finish with a 4-13 record.... If the saints needed _____ that should have offered that same package and got a proven player. I do see the short term vs long term deal, but this draft doesnt have 16 elite players, I dont even think it has one. Its a high risk trade with terrible odds.
  11. tony has draft sources and has been around long enough. I think Cross is the worst case. like no trade back packages, Neal, and Link are off....
  12. You duke fans suure live up to poo-stain rep, the level of smug needed to talk after UNC closed out Ks career TWICE. Pure clown move and foolishness.
  13. Hold on, Mick Mixon had a fan?? Not taking the bait, troll given the copy pasta.....
  14. Its a little confusing, but this how it is in simple terms- saints- 16th overall pick iggles- 1,2,3 Yes the 1, 2, and 3 are future picks, but I would do this deal form iggles side, its a compete 1 one-sided. Like we trade 1st *AND* you give me 2 AND 3???? I take that alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day. Think of this- that 1,2,3 saints gave for a unknown young player. That 1,2,3 could be traded for 99% of the league, that return is a star pro-bowl level package for a proven player. Only way like works out for the saints, if they have a deeeep playoff run. They lost all-pro LT, all-pro S and a top 5 HC. The guy replaced HC has a worse W/L than Matt Rhule.
  15. They should count 3x, hes a repeat loser that reid covered up for more than few times.
  16. I think theres a decent chance thats hes still staring at his phones until day 3, agains his draft spot is the hardest for me to pinpoint. I do think Pitt will past on him with their 1st, but if hes still there form their 2nd......
  17. Where do you truly believe Howell gets picked? The number, i will not use it like I have with my Allen and Herbert comments. For me Howell is hardest player to pick for, just curious.
  18. Other teams have to feel like I do, but all it takes is one and my god there are some dumb teams.....iants normally are among the brightest and they pulled off this herniay-like trade.
  19. I want Neal about as bad as I wanted Sewell last year. These QBs are not worth where they will go, I got three in the 1st round, all will be reaches. I can be talked in a DE, cause Im a DL whore. If iants want to make the biggest mistake in their history, I will allow them to do so....Not even going to try to predict what happens next. MHS I told you this draft would be as crazy as the free agency, this was one hell of a start....
  20. I badly wanted to make a friendly bet with @LinvilleGorge about Howell, but QBs are the true wildcard and I know better....but I see Pitt passing on him and a few other QBs going before him.
  21. Yea i heard the dallas stuff, i doubt even in his poor mental health jerry would fork over 1st plus for him. Theres ways around it, one is for Payton to come back as a OC, but hes the real HC, loopholes is what built jerrahs empire.
  22. thanks for carrying the huddle this past year.
  23. Something something counting your chickens before they hatch...
  24. Where you land sometimes is the most important part. Going back til that draft, I correctly had Watson as the best QB and it was 50/50 between him and Garrett for the top spot overall. Laughed my ass off at the Corey Davis pick, some had him as a mid 2nd rounder.....weird pick.
