2day i seen a legit report that the saints are going to be heavy players for carr.....I didnt think any team would trade for him, but thats now looking wrong... You can easily turn carrs 41 million in signing bonus and thus its gone....but I dont thinks hes worth that type of cheese......he needs to rebuild/one year type deal....but other teams looking like they still view him as elite....

I would say wait til their 2nd round pick and the drop off would be tiny in DL terms..........but steelers robbed them blinded. Another kicker is that pick was the 32nd so it is a "1st", just no 5th year......but still not worth claypool.

I had the same/sim thoughts over one month ago, just two days into my draft class update...... "theres no chance one of the top four makes it the 9th pick". It started with looking at the "meh" cream of WR, LT, CB, and DE/edge........ there are no insane cannt miss guys form the top valued groups. Sooooo more teams will just go for the QB dart......(imo) Plus I feel AR will own the combine, hes a true freakshow. If he lays down 4.4-4.59 40 along with other eye popping numbers, his stock will jump into the top 8.....even if the current top 8 dont take the bait, some team behind the panthers WILL. I keep reading Levis, levis, levis reports as well......like 0 chance he makes it out of the top 5.....and hes got a good odds at being #1 overall.....not that i agree. So.......panthers are in deep waters.......this will be a true test for finessererererer. Huge poke hands being played this year and if you/new HC must have one of the top QBs, you got to trade up.....its not going to cheap either.....

If you truly wanted payton, just hire him as a consultant or _________ . Hes the real HC at HQ, but not labeled as such.....now you dont have to give the saints all the draft capital.....

@Verge how do you take my prediction about 4 QBs going before pick 9? (said over one month ago)? Whats the sticking power? Plus levis has just as good chance to go 1st as any player?

Romo started out insanely good, mainly cause he didnt care about some of the unwritten rules about talking about the stuff when they meet with coaches and players. Deal is after his recent huge bagged contract, he doesnt have the same energy, not predicted plays as much, and gone full sucking off super star ______ instead of calling the game. I do not care to hear how god-like Mahomes is, call the game on the field. Olsen passed him this year.

Personally i pull that when the comp picks are included. Its no longer 32 picks. Plus there are year were the NFL takes picks, pats were hit the most. This year the phins dont get their 1st..........{pushes taped glasses up} so ackshually the first second round pick is a late first........... I go off of 32 picks per each round.

Hell I wanted a DT and late flyer developmental type IOL too......its just impossible to fill every spot without doing the trading back......but this draft I didnt want to move, got nearly who/position I wanted. This was by far my best at "finding starters"..... maybe 6 day one starters(if you include nickleback and slot WR as starting). I got no clue on what Chinn or the safety spot will be. I know woods is under contract, but dont know the wording. Im a big franklin fan, but like you said hes not a FS...... I may need to move it up my list, im not the biggest wood guy either.......Chinn needs to plays closer to the LOS. nope...but i was more let down by Dak. the 2nd half was a total joke by moore too. far too nervous and all you had to do was scheme against the CBs and hope dak gets 3.5 to throw.
