Yep, this recent talk of firing him is just beyond insane to me. Is he struggling? yes. Also he got to the AFC championship nearly each year during those 20 years, that was the floor.......the AFC championship..... In the hardest eras, he won 6 SBs in which they where facing the favorite/best offense that year. A fluke helmet catch and hed have 18-0 record and the 7th SB. Hes always had a top 10 defense and few times it was ranked #1. When NFL changed all the rules for scoring, Bill was holding teams to 16 points and the next best mid-20s. Just insane to talk of his "firing" imo. NFL DCs just copy his game plans cause they have worked. Hes even able to have alllll that success while drafting in the late 20s/32 alll those years and he sucked at that... This should never been a topic.

100% yes. Something like 80% of the scout herniay hired are still here. You know the ones that have like a 5% hit rate in rounds 2-7. Dave didnt replace anyone and just added a cap guy. Fitterererererre hired a couple seahawk dudes thats it. The same never was group.

odd deal is besides the 6 SBs, 9 trips, 17 out of 20 fielding a top ten D.......bill sign a extension this past off-season. it was kept form the press. I think kraft wants bill to break the all-time wins as a patriot, then retire. how can you fire a guy that won 6 SBs, during the hardest/FA era??

I think ben johnson as well(*stayed with lions). There was a GM that passed when fittererereerer got the job(guy was with the panthers for years, young too(i think he was with the titans)) If frank is fired, tepper would be full toxic to many coaches..... hes already there with some.

Being honest and the bar is at the lowest, frank is sligthy better than thomas at calling plays. This is sorta like when Phil Snow got replaced by Al Holcomb, it proved phil was better.

If young can not elevate the team like a franchise QB does, then there are no real solutions.
