  1. Ive heard some talking head say this- "Its much easier to find a good-great WR than good-great QB".
  2. After too much research, I bring one name to the fold- Darin Walker Yea it's not a WR, but he is a difference making weapon and rumored to be on the block. Frank also talked a few times about wanting a pass catching TE. Send Tremble and mid rounder for walker and a late rounder, that maybe all it takes. Contract was like moores, just signed and three years. Ive warmed up fast.....
  3. Will you be a watcher or fan this upcoming season? Or to avoid pain via seppuku?
  4. I think the ELF deal is more interesting than "GAWD CUT HIM!!!!". If for whatever reasons you can not come to terms with Boze, you better keep Elf. With the little, daley, and anderson deals....its a tiny chance you can find a trade for him too. Plus given the two OGs are injuried......again ELf got starter snaps on his resume, even a new type contract *could be on the table too. Lots more......
  5. What's the reaction when finessererererer trades back from 39th to the late 50s, when two prime WRs are the board along with 2 prime edges??
  6. I think they are looking like prime monica bellucci, if jalen carter falls to 9th.....given recent actions, thats very possible.
  7. Looking at the current WRs, RBs, and TEs.........by odins beard they have some work ahead...with not much cap space either. I will wait until FA and draft, before I go full @Carl Spackler .....I may need to see a preseason game or two..... may need to add a couple regular season games too.
  8. If young was 6 inches taller and 40 clean LBs heavy, bears would turned down the panthers offer. Answer the OP question, yes. Last two years paint a great picture without his best game still....
  9. I wouldnt say fact, it makes the path much easier. 49ers got the NFC championship without a QB. Ugh.....the broncos won a SB with dead arm QB. Success can be reached...........just have one top 5 D and luck....
  10. See how he deals with the overwhelming heated pressure....
  11. After one night's sleep, heres my feelings. In order to simplify I will use numbers instead of picks. Along with pointing out the here and now. Finally contracts. Panthers got the rights to one pick, the first pick and most valued 1st- 2023 ________________________________________________________________ Bears 9th- 2023 61st- 2023 DJ Moore- 2023-2025 team friendly control for 3 more years 14th- 2024 guessing on where the panthers finish 47th - 2025 "" Looking at the "now" haul or 2023, man thats looking great for the bears *if you view DJ Moore as a solid #1(I do). Like others thats the sticking point for me and his conctract has 0 dead cap AND no more guarantees. What a bargain even if you view him as an "average" #2. Speaking of team friendly contracts, it seems the QB market has gone insane again with the Carr, Jones, and Geno "one year wonder, Im still Geno" Smith. *If the panthers land top 12 level QB play, huge swing towards panther side. If panthers win now and keep winning onward to playoff runs, another huge swing for panthers. The last factors are having a man like David Tepper as owner. Reports were in 2020 and until Watson got traded, he was telling folks at any cost watson would be a panther....then came his fully guaranteed 250 million demand..... Tepper stopped singing his tune. Now looking over the panthers TEs, RBs, and WRs................ given the trades of DJ Moore and CMC were needed and its leftd the weapons room empty.... I think this traded favors da bears. But it's not one sided. Looking at recent history at the cost of trading up towards the top- Commies, Bears, 49ers, Rams, Eagles...they show its a higher cost to land the rights.....but I dont want to think about the results of their QBs...... Keep praying.........that CJ Stroud is the savior...
  12. Its may have to do, best they have. I know its a looonnng limb, players do get better, TMJ did after rhule leftd. Again may not need a top fight WR, given franks love of 12 personnel. A rookie QBs best friend is a TE. Still havnt seen these posts about Moore replaced by Shenault. more time passes, moore I miss moore.
  13. Im lost at the thought of posters saying he could replace DJ moore. I havnt seen this. I see nothing wrong with him in the same role, gimmick or not. I do not believe he can step in for DJ moore, link me these statements, please. End goal is SB. WR-wise is very complicated. TMJ, smith, and Shenault. That may have to be the 2,3, and 4. Frank runs a heavy 12 look, may not need 6 WRs. Finding a late stage vet to act as another #2, that seems the realist solution.
  14. Hes not? did someone say this was possible? Id put it at low single digits, but I also wouldnt call him calm bait either. Whats wrong with putting Shenault in the same gimmick role?
  15. You got it, I thought it was weeks later. I know he got hurt as well, tad unfair to judge that too. Or do we need to put more dirt on him?
  16. He had a 2 one along with around 1200 all-purpose. DJ was ultra weak for TDs, you know that.
  17. I think it was week 6? around there, I think it was his first game as a panther as well.
  18. Need to fast edit that zero then bro.... I will say this- frank and doug seem to run similar systems, best I can tell. Doug gave away Shenault for what choosen anderson got after his value with less than zero....... Panthers may need to find another WR along with a new #1. Id tell Shenault to put on 15 clean LBs and hes my new hybrid RB ala deebo patterson.... He could be cut, I see that too....
  19. The dead cap is hella bad, I dont defend wrong. Just too add- CMC was one of hernaiy parting gifts. Rhule the "boss CEO" was BFFs with island boy. Moore, looks like he didnt get to stay on a team friendly deal. Still you can not continue to operate with teddy dishwater, CMC and these supreme dead cap figures.
  20. You remember that great catch and TD run against the iants?
  21. Here is the way. If either young or stroud sit out their pro days, thats who the panthers will pick. If both sit out, Cam newton is coming back and Bijan Robinson is the pick made by new GM Marty Herniay!! keep pounding
  22. Been looking around, its slim pickin' Both the FA and draft dont have the star level. Like a bunch of mid-2s. Its not going to be easy. I originally wanted to use the 39th on a edge(yea i am a BPA stan), just wanted to add a stud and thats a fair/good spot for this draft. The other spot when this pick happens- WR fyi Shenault was dealt form a fellow that frank should use a similar system, so........ buckle up it maybe a rough go for the next 2 years on the WR front... the pre-tag 2024 WR looks insane, tho.
  23. you have a open mind and see this......trying to reason with others on this, given the tiny likelihood, its open season........
