Dan has been signing " mobile QB " this and that. He feels its a huge point to extend plays, he said so very recently. But to pick Pickett, just ... -
His tape isn't that good, ups and downs. He's just like anyone drafted outside the top 5 or so, he needs coaching and reps. Yes the Neals, bectons, have hurt giant stocks, but I feel Proctor going to break that. He only allowed one sack in the SEC and that was in a so-so year. He's got ELITE feet and great hands, that's rare. There's 0.0 chance he's lasting to 19, he's just too much of a player. If not for a couple players combine, he would have the best one. I feel it was top 5 after styles, Thin, etc.. I wish they let the guy do his 850 squat and 550 bench, but thats unfair... like people forgot he had a 32.5” standing vertical at the NFL combine. For a giant that's insane, nothing like Neal or brecton.

Best I know nothing has changed for the surgery part, but the recovery has been reduced. Plus you need to see all the damage in the knee, many times you don't know until you look.. Then the surgery just lasts longer and rehab is longer too.

What's Your Draft Day Shock Move by Carolina?
Basbear replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
They get an early future pick.. -
Rethinking the Philly game- white needed to start to match speed Sit kon, rookie vs George is not a correct move. Bridges is guarding George now, except on switch out etc.. white and bridges also focus the scoring, via make them work both ends. use the bench when needed get the 20 point lead and win.

Proctor feels like a top ten lock. Unlike the recent giant men, this guy can move with the best of them. He does have LT movement for the NFL. I even think theres a good chance he's the first OLman pick, no idea why he's got such a negative mock rank. Its terrible how bad people have this wrong. Reminder, it just takes one team one GM one OC one OL coach to pick the guy. I still can not believe the amount of bad press he's getting while being a elite trait prospect. Im no lover either.

Lance Zierlein's Position Rankings 2026 Draft
Basbear replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Its against my rules to draft a FS in round one, but Thien makes its super hard to not break that rule. He does look like he'd change a defense for the better. Value value value, you just never see Cs or true FS in the 1st. Im thinking more about a trade in the works. I do not like the group * of teams around 19. I like the player pool below and into the late 20s.. -
Its Lloyd, he just said AZ will have a great coach after him... Billy is plan B if LLyod changes his mind, but by all counts he is the guy. Now I got to learn about him, zero clue on him.
-
ball has to win this game. it should be 30% miller 25% kon 20% ball other the rest. for the offense game plan and play calls. white is offense of the rest.
-
I do not want to play Philly any more...
-
thanks for updates and opinions!

I no like when hornets only have a single digit lead.... I swear they need to run plays for Kon and they be even better. Is white the best 6th man offense in history??, he feels like more PG ready Crawford. His points per minutes feels 1.4, I hope he stays at that role...... I still think of how this team would be with duren at C, fug you MJ, you cheap mofo!!

BREAKING: Panthers have interest in Deebo Samuel
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Brook is 4x the QB BY wants to be. He's been in the top 12 since his first snap, Id nearly let Juan murder someone for that... -
I got the most unreal draft for the year. Protor is going top ten. TY is going top 15. CJ is going top 50. Brene thomp was just the best offense move I could make. Zuhn is a future OC York ST demon and maybe ILB John Michaelm is one of my favorite picks in the whole draft, Id spend either 5th on him, steal at 200.

Lance Zierlein's Position Rankings 2026 Draft
Basbear replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Lane is spot on and I do respect his opinions. ROUND 1: Best value: Edge, Wide Receiver, Cornerback. I predict overdrafting OT and a run on edge will drop WRs and maybeCB lower and a great value could land in our lap. Could we do it again? In the words of Brittany Spears, “Oops.” Corner? Well, I think we will move Smith-Wade to FS at some point. Smart, calls coverages. Jackson is gone after 2026. . Get a nickel later, however, unless a stud CB falls. Please don’t draft TE here. Edge? On paper, we are strong, but you can never have enough pass rushers. We will leave awesome at one position that we may not have listed as a primary need: Edge, CB, or WR. ROUND 2: Best Value: Linebacker. I do not see us drafting another position here. LB–Hill (longshot), Rodgriguez, Golday. Edge (second tier–Height, Jacas, Moore, Young, Howell–would be hard to overlook, but our GM is a former LB) S A Haulcy is a darkhorse possibility. ROUND 3: Best Value: Defensive line. Halton (OK), Jackson (Fl. St), Durant (Penn State). ROUND 4: Best Value: Center. Slaughter, Hecht, Jones, Lew, Coogan, Jones, Zuhn. This is the only real option. We should take our center in round 4. ROUND 5: Best value: They will be looking for a developmental OT here if not addressed sooner. Jude Bowery ((BC), D. Crownover (RT-Tex AM), Wagner (RT-Notre Dame) seem promising. This is the way. Great summary and I feel its on the right wave length. -
Processing Blue: immediate draft needs

I like this line of thinking. I would move WR3 up, but the positions are on point, but ranks I feel are off. Plus I like you included "rookie" into the thinking. Im a edge whore, like ultra whore, so I feel edge needs some love in this, but I get your list.
