Im very similar to Ron in being a company/league man. But that ends after the third head hit, I would have lost my religion. Then after I got kicked out of the game, Id 100% be dropping nukes in the after-game presser. fug you fine me whatever, I am going to protect my QB and since logic and reason isn't being used, I can be the bad guy. The replays showed clear evidence, Id feel no shame in cussing out a crew of chicken poo refs. In fact Id tell the video staff to play infractions on a split screen during my press conference.

Honestly the 2024 draft class(minus brooks). All are in line to be starters, expect crumedy who's fighting for a 53. Still that class was looking terrible, is now looking like 4 starters and maybe 1 depth. Anytime you draft 2 starters and a key depth piece its a good draft. 4 starters are rare and that's with brooks who could have made 5 starters if not for awful luck. That draft also helped land starter Michael Jackson in a round about way, big bonus..

GOD DAM! Shams Charania @ShamsCharania Free agent center Mason Plumlee has agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets, sources tell ESPN. The Hornets get some frontcourt depth, completing a contract with Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports for Plumlee's 13th NBA season.

Refs had it out for Cam after that. ED was chief king poo among the refs, they had to defend their boy...

I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3. Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys. I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.

Part of the conspiracy about remmers was they did give help in play calls, according to Darin Gantt. Just for whatever reason the players missed the play call numerous times. I mean until that point, they never had to shift protection that whole season. They hadn't practiced it either. My biggest beef with the whole Cam era was Ron Rivera never blew a fuse by cussing out the refs or go on a epic rant that cost him 100,000 calling out the hypocrisy with player safety when defenders are head hunting my QB. I know he sent in plays and had contact with league officials, it didn't stop the blatant behavior of scrambling Cams brain when the league had great focus on protecting QBs. The nice guy routine didn't wrong RON and you just didn't want to upset the NFL by going off during and after games. I do know this as well, after Cam told the reporters " Youre not old enough for that call ". The refs had each others back worse than the cops or married folks, from that point on it was open season. Such petty BS should never happen in a professional league.

Incoming rant-, clouds, gold, and such..... After time has passed along with the sexton trade, maybe there is something to this "culture". I know this, the current crew minus a player here and there, is bitach made. Ball is soft and goofy. It's like a virus has taken over and no one wants to get healthy. That said, I still maintain you can not pick Matt Carroll errrrra Kon Knueppel at 4th overall. I don't even think you can pick him in the top 10 or lottery for that matter. Still I spent too time and more than few reputable draft "gurus" had him at 3rd overall. Many had him in the 4-6 range. I still don't see how, but I have been wrong before. Just not to bag on him, he's a "role" player and 4th overall is not the time or place for that type of player. In order for Kon to be successful, you have to run the system for him....... You are telling me Ball, Bridges, Miller and other pros are going to let a least athletic guy smart his way into shooting the ball??? I need to witness how this plays out... I have huge doubts. Enough bitachin, Im starting to turn into hornet player. Some good is for a 29 overall pick Liam McNeely is what I have Kon comp as. The guys at CBS loved him and the whole hornets draft. So did many others. Yea instant draft reactions are _________ . I was not a James fan, but Kalkbrenner fits in with tough culture with high IQ. I do think James can D up tho.... Maybe they can tougher up those baby wipe soft hornet players. I say let the 2nd and 3rd units grid out those bitaches just cashing checks. Sexton is a legit tough guy willing to drive and take punishment without going on IR like a weakling.... I hate that I've been given hope.

I believe Stanford is the highest all-time player in NFL salary terms. He was the last year of those crazy rookie contract, so day one he was a top 5 guy. Lions paid him well after the deal and so have the rams. He's been weeeeeellllllllllllllllll compensated for playing in Detroit.

Moore, Frankly is insurance. Its what he should be at this stage of his surprising long UDFA career. If the evil injury monster grabs one of the top guys, Moore can help with filling in. If Moore doesn't make this team with knowing he is a system guy, that's a great sign. Plus like was posted above, he can play on the PS. People have been counting out Moore every year, including myself(I recall his 1st panther run...). He just keeps cashing NFL checks while the new wave of rookie WRs figure it out.... I heard he became one of those super serious healthy types with his body at this stage too. I mean, horn was the 208th player picked, thats UDFA zip code......horn just sold Dan the GM on his "Miami" mindset. Horn already had a hamstring deal and missed valuable reps, Moore could be the guy on the roster and they risk horn to PS. I heard a sort-a crazy idea with Coker as well- let him transition to a hybrid TE/WR given the lack of TE with tremble hurting. I mean....... its nice to have a "deep" WR for the first time in like ever to come up with this idea.....

dookie white guy that can not create his own shots while being meh on D........ sounds like MJs wet dream for the 4 overall pick..... my gods this can not be right?

Honestly DBrown is the DMVP and effect was like a house of cards. Still evero should have done much better.

I hate how accurate Vegas always is. I agree with their assessment, nearly to a T. I will pass this 22K golden nugget for you gambling freaks that like long shots. I think Cards shock the league this year and upset lots of hopes.

Heres a good piece and update on this topic- https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/agents-take-what-is-holding-up-nfl-draft-second-rounders-from-signing-rookie-deals/ Third year seems to be a issue and the amount of that's guaranteed. Part of the issue was Texans allowing the first full guarantee, but in the piece its states the current hang up is Saints 40th pick tyler. Qbs always are harder to pay, 3rd round Milore is also messing up. Every player drafted close to any great contract, they want the same. It honestly looks like some 2nd rounders could miss TC reps, including Panthers Nic. Its a showdown, no agent will want the title "didn't get my 2nd rounder full guaranteed like the pick before". Teams may have to conclude in order to end this mess.

BREAKING: Panthers interested in Justin Simmons
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense. -
I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud. It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes. I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
-
Also maybe the biggest part is his fromer college buddy, Lord Lamar told the GM to sign him. It was done nearly right after and guess who was the first person Alexander met at ravens stadium??

Brother, you have to forgive us fans. Six years of the worst win % across all sports has made me very upset. On our behalf its changed us and I don't want to feel this way..... I even been getting poo from my friend who I turned into a Panthers fan, lots of it....

Yes I agree, the future RT could easily be christ. When he shocking re-signed here for the cheap, he said part of the reason was the OL coaching staff. I've already thought too much about 2026. The RT has all the options, including resigning Motown. I was never a big fan, but he's solid and peptides and stem cells can fix a gippy knee. If he makes it though this year and wants to return, why not for 2 years 16 million?? Or like you said give the job to Christ or draft your RT...... that I feel is the best current method. With both OGs in the 20 million per cap range and Icky......ooooooooooo boy he could be the first 30 million per OLmen in NFL history. That's a huge portion of cap space for the OL, which I agree with, but in order to offset those 20 and 30 million deals... you need cheap rookie contracts. (unless Motown would take a huge pay cut and whoever the C will be). This is the deepest OL I can recall in Panthers history. I believe Morgan should try and trade either Kingston or Zavala. I didn't even talk about Yosh, Tarquin, or Walton. Yosh is same age as christ and why not him as RT after good swing tackle years? Tarquin is a UDFA on the prayer program, 150,000 in guarantees and why not him in 2026? Walton seems to be a OL coach favorite, he followed the Tampa Bay staff here after 2 years there and add in one year here, he's stuck around for some reason. I think they need to spend very light on RT and Panthers have lots of options, I love it.

He got 5mill per deal from the Titans. He was the tacks leader and leader of the unit, at least he tried to be in the right spot and made efforts to tackles players. They gave the brinks truck to Tre'von and couldnt fit that 5 mill with him I guess. I was a fan of woods and he did what was rare in the NFL he stayed for the whole length of his contract. They also fired the safety coach. -
I'd say or believe the RB room has or will improve. Rico > inches. Then 3rd RB is 4th rounder Trevor Etienne, who we don't know what he bring, should be more than last year and I heard he's got good hands. All the TEs are young, even back issue Tremble is 24. Evans is a worker and Sanders has been getting props on his body. Sighlt edge points up here too, imo. OL everyone but Motown should be better too, they are mostly OL "young" and that was the first season with the OL coaches. Did you know they have a personal coach for C, IOL, and OTs?? They got three OL coaches on this staff, I don't believe any other team has this method. You know about the talent added to WR room. It does come down to BY. If I say BY wins the MVP award, how would that look team-wise??
