  1. My best case is maybe too real for most. Draft a QB and hope its Lance. Keep TB for this year only, cause no one wants to pay him 10 million in guarantees. Facts are the panthers are a long shot to make the playoffs. 37 minutes after the week 17th game, cut TB and get ready to make noise in 2022.
  2. Mond in the first *like*, or 3rd? I got him in the 4th rounder, early at best. Long ago I questioned Lawrence being the next messiah type, I didnt see Elway. I came away very "meh" with his 2020 games. Before those he already had the next big thing label. I liked Burrow more than him for sure. With Convid it was a totally different season and changed the valuation of everyone too.
  3. Im still hammering out mine, its gotten much clearer over the weekend. I like boards that are different, even if I disagree. I got Fields in the late 20s currently, doubt I move form that. Plus my main focus is panthers, I quit doing 150 players with sleepers. One main difference compare to all others I have is Kwity Paye as the 7th overall and not to mention Lance as 1a. Guess I have some BS clickbait in me too...
  4. The defenders are posting the most "correct" ranking and not his final one. Even though hes saying; "this isnt for clickbait, guyz", its for clickbait and reactions. The amount of clickbait BS has to bust at some point, its the worst year by far for the clickbait farming. It needs to come back to earth, enough is enough.
  5. Im about 50% sure its going to happen, only players higher are baylor/temple players. Its fills a need, want, and price *should* be low.
  6. Que the "Make him a coach" posting...
  7. Major Props to Simms for forming your opinion and NOT just repeating then same drool 95% of the others do. That said, dear football gods.... Jones and Mond need to land in perfect situations for his predictions to be right. Seen the years before, this is a total new year Chris Simms. Mond a first?!?!?!?!?!?!? I like him as a 4th hope and pray type, not a fuging 1st. Hes got the numbers and all, but also his results are very poo too. I can see Wilson over Lawrence, but not Mond as the 4th best with a firm 1st round grade. Then Jones as the 3rd best, dont care about your past ranking, these 2 haunt you big time. His ranking also change and he does lots of double talk to cover his future.
  8. Ringer big board has Fields as the 2nd overall best player.
  9. Well I finally stopped being dumb with Pitts. Broke one of rules with ignoring the competition Pitts put up strong numbers against. I now firmly have Pitts as the 8th overall player for the panthers, up form the 20s. If all the good QBs,LTs, and Chase.... are gone, Pitts should be along the final players for the 8th. Shame on me for continually to overlooking SEC opponents that focused on Pitts and he still had great games. I can/should not place too much for blocking, if he is a real game charger. CMC on the left hash and Pitts on the right hash mark, that would/should put most Ds in panic mode.
  10. Smitty has a hate boner for him too. Like sorry moore doesnt carry himself like you steve, he still puts in work. Smitty even talked about he got calls form people inside the team, bout issues with Moore. Im amazed with moore being able to finish with GREAT numbers(minus TDs) while having weeks of poor showings during the season. As others have said, hes had some of the weaker QBs group throwing him the rock. ANderson started like the true #1, but as the season aged Moore took that back.
  11. Owner- spends 2.3 billion on a team Fans- "He better not involve himself at ALL!!" I want my owner to at least care about the product, but not be obsessed with parts they have no knowledge in. Tepper saved the panthers AND kept them in carolina. Honeymoon is over with many moves- cam BS, stealing super fans seats, firing long term workers, pitting nc vs sc, keeping herniay(and calling him the best, bloody hell), etc etc. He at least admitted about his learning curve. It takes time to be a NFL owner, far as success. Start good, rocky couple years, looks on the upswing. He continues to pour money and resources into the team. He spend no time buying and installing a bubble(Jerry refused). Gave Rhule(whom i had big questions) the richest deal for a 1st year NFL coach, along with co-signing on hiring 25 coaches. Panthers have maybe the largest coaching group in the NFL. Hired all sort of science, nutrition, lifting, wellness experts to the already huge staff. Building a 200 acre super football complex that does help the locals, Richardson would have N-E-V-E-R done that. Ive gone form 8 happy to 3 upset, now about 5 neutral.
  12. Hes know for leading the league in PD for DLmen. I know about him cause one of my FF leagues had equal defensive scoring with O. At times JJ lead the lead in scoring mainly cause PD were worth 20 points to help CB score points too.
  13. I think he was, but hes the type to have a flask at arms reach 24/7. Sad part is this type of thing happens too often.
  14. Mail it in Peter King, god dam what happened? I stopped reading his vomit ten years ago, when he couldnt stop talking about coffee in football pieces. Pulling a bruce Willis, retire please you're embarrassing yourself.
  15. Im telling you, watch out for this name- Jacob hollister. Should come cheaper than the names you listed, has top 12 toolbox, frittereererere knows him well.
  16. Two Jones takes I have heard. Johnathan Jones called the his panther sources about Jones being Mocked to them, he said they gave him a hard laugh. No chance they said. Another is if you compare Tuas season with Jones season, Jones looked better with about the same team. Tua was picked 5th overall with a terrible injury. Im no Jones fan at all, but its very easy to see why Jones could be a top ten pick given this simple comparison. I want constant playoffs appearances that lead to SB wins, Trey Lance can give that, Jones can not(unless on a team of all-pros).
  17. This is mine take. I feel everyone should have the same top three. Im a DL whore, fyi. Some varies depending on system, climate, stadium, left handed QB, etc . 1- QB 2-Edge/DE/3-4OLB 3. LT(could make a good case for #1, much less great LTs than QBs) 4. WR 5. CB 6. DT 7. RT 8. TE 9. C 10. OG 11. RB 12. LB 13. Safety 14. Kicker(could/should be higher) 15. Punter 16. LS/FB/Gunner/Ace/H-back About 7 years ago I had OG rated lower, RG and LG vary on worth too. At times RG is asked to block the 3tech DT, you need a stud for that task. Follow the money and that gives you where teams feel value is.
  18. https://fanspeak.com/ontheclock-nfl-mock-draft-simulator/draft.php?d=oykzkg Steves list, Like my LBs better in this one. Getting Tucker is steal in the 2nd, have 0% chance of happening. 8: R1 P8 QB Zach Wilson - BYU 39: R2 P7 G Alijah Vera-Tucker - USC 73: R3 P9 DL Marvin Wilson - Florida State 113: R4 P8 CB Tre Norwood - Oklahoma 152: R5 P7 OT Dillon Radunz - North Dakota State 185: R5 P40 LB Isaiah McDuffie - Boston College 195: R6 P9 LB K.J. Britt - Auburn 223: R6 P37 TE Shaun Beyer - Iowa
  19. FYI fanspeak now has comp picks included. Able to fill more needs/wants. https://fanspeak.com/ontheclock-nfl-mock-draft-simulator/draft.php?d=qizmwz Love my first 4 picks, feel strong about each being a starter somewhere. I will not pass up a stud DE, WILL NOT! Rochell is a boom/bust type, Slanton is a 360LB mountain. Only regert is not finding better TE and LB, but again not passing up a stud DE. Little may could start LT this year, depending on his rehab, but at one point had a mid first grade late 2019. 8: R1 P8 QB Zach Wilson - BYU 39: R2 P7 DL Gregory Rousseau - Miami 73: R3 P9 C Landon Dickerson - Alabama 113: R4 P8 OT Walker Little - Stanford 152: R5 P7 CB Robert Rochell - Central Arkansas 185: R5 P40 DL Tedarrell Slaton - Florida 195: R6 P9 LB Monty Rice - Georgia 223: R6 P37 TE Noah Gray - Duke
  20. Look again Juan, they already gave him the signing bonus. Hes "cheap" for a nfl OL. Isaiah Wilson signed a 4 year, $11,568,389 contract with the Tennessee Titans, including a $5,973,376 signing bonus, $11,357,982 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $2,892,097. In 2021, Wilson will earn a base salary of $1,135,836, while carrying a cap hit of $2,629,180 and a dead cap value of $5,384,606. 21. They already paid the signing bonus, so it would be around 2 million per year with no guarantees. Id take a shot for a late rounder, panthers need OL more than 31 other teams. BTW, were you the OG about the working at the bar and panthers personal kept coming in talking about trading for watson? If so, bump that thread, need to doll out some pie. I looked for 20 minutes, huddle search system is poo.
  22. I approve, youve been killing it for months Willy. Keep smoking whatever strain youre on..
  23. Him vs Surtain was a good one. Its very hard to see 250 LBs, but some players are heavier than they look. The blocks where bad ones to judge for me, I want him vs DEs/LBs.
