Frittererer is now 1-4 But my god the injuries, everyone has a long injury history.....
-
I agree about the start, but thats just it, its just the start. Plenty of time to improve this roster, in fact FA has not started. Im ready for wave 2, 3, and 4 for the value/bargin players. Plus the draft. Panthers stumbled out the gate, but its yard 1.8 in the 100 yard race.
-
I should have waited til the first waves of FA is over, but Kerr cut made me change my mocks... https://fanspeak.com/ontheclock-nfl-mock-draft-simulator/draft.php?d=pbyxuf 8: R1 P8 QB Trey Lance - North Dakota State 39: R2 P7 OT Jalen Mayfield - Michigan 73: R3 P9 LB Cameron McGrone - Michigan 113: R4 P8 TE Kenny Yeboah - Ole Miss 151: R5 P7 DL Bobby Brown III - Texas A&M 192: R6 P9 CB Robert Rochell - Central Arkansas 220: R6 P37 EDGE Jonathon Cooper - Ohio State 224: R6 P41 G Calvin Ashley - Florida A&M

Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Alll that late season IR adding... Season end presser; Herniay - " Disappointing about the way the year turned out, I think it starts with having a league high 23 players on IR"..... -

Another Herniay special " Well we had a lot of injuries ".... I bet that was his goto for getting another shot. BS excuse, it NFL football all team get injuries every year! -

REPORT: Panthers interested in Texans LB
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I like that. I mean part of reason for Herniay firing was he stuck with "profiles" and didnt look into other methods. So teams knew what the panthers where going to do. Now being in every deal....panthers dont even know what they are doing!!! -
5 Mississippi fo sure!

Panthers interested in Falcons Keanu Neal

I feel no different too. I hope he start getting some value buys on legit players and not on suspect injury-prone players. I thought Rhule wanted players that played hurt, nearly every player linked has a long history of injuries. I get buying low, just give me some hope Fritterere! I want to meme on your smart GM moves and your ruining that for me!!!1!!! -
He has loads of knowledge not just on the panthers offensive/strategies, but he was a 4-faze special teamer..... He called the blocks for kicking and punting, must re-name the calls now....
-
Wrong panthers are joining many teams with suspect OL for a new rule. Now the defensive has to count to 5, before they rush the QB! Panthers with future 800 IQ moves...
-
Dont worry our OL can cover up not having a Blocking TE/FB... Wait Im being handed a card....Ooo noes!!

I dont know Loins or Phillys plan, just believe neither Goff or Hurts are good enough to pass on Wilson/Lance/etc. Just like when the panthers took Cam with Jimmy was last years first pick, Cards took Murray with 10th overall Rosen last yr. 3 firsts is the going rate I believe for either SF or NE. SF could flip Jimmy for a pick too. Offset some of the cost. It could a QB musical chairs type of effect. Cam only had 3.5 million in guarantees, they could cut him or its a great spot for a rookie QB. Teams could trade for Beaguals pick, Lions pick, Phillys pick too. Its doesnt have to be #4, just before the panthers #8.
-
Texans are the new Browns, dont forget that.. Plus the leadership down there is, well not football driven but belief driven
-
Denver has been in talks for many QBs and wanted Fitz also. Lock still acts like a rookie. I heard he puts in no film or lift time. They have soured on him, no matter the fluff. SF is 12th with future picks. NE could do the same about trading future 1s/2s. Bill always has comps and is used to drafting late. Loins and Philly could trade up for a QB too. Goff and hurts are not good enough not to stay put if you love Wilson Fields etc.

Panthers interested in Falcons Keanu Neal

I like Neal, hes a great person too. I know they loved him in the draft. He can lay the wood... LOLOLOL I swear....... hes been hit by the injury bug, hardcore. - Panthers free agents must have a history of injuries and games missed. -
Panthers sign OT Cam Erving - 2 years, 10 million, 8 fully guaranteed
Basbear replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
We dont have to say that, the tape does. What was your stance when they signed Matt Kalil? -
Maybe the plan is have Joe play at RT or LT.... idk it was a odd move and a waste if you spent that on a OG with neither OT filled. Funny thing is they had Cam Erving and it seems they didnt want back for what the panthers got him for. Maybe Andy is going to suit up!!!

Denver, SF, or NE are in the market with good picks. Some wildcards like Pitt, Chicago, WFT, and no telling what Jets/Miami could pull off.
-
Thats honestly the biggest "WTF" signing for me. Is a combo of team, position, money, timing, cap space, etc. Joe is petty good, just not 80 million good. AND KC would have been the last team I would have placed him on, they give half a billion to Kermit. Just signed Chris Jones(2nd highest), TE Kelce is the 2nd paid TE, honey badger got dumb money too. Plus we are past the cap friendly first years, those deals are hitting hard right now.
-
12 million is the going rate for backups- Cam, Winston, and tyrod...
-
Im shocked they had the space to do so.
