  2. My guess, he/agents heard his name was involved trade talks. Called Frittererer or Rhule and they confirmed it.
  3. Too real for many to handle, brains melt when the truth is told. Okung played about 7 games total and by week 17 the panthers were starting on their 4th different LT. But its ALL Teddys fault about that, same for CMC injuries and getting nothing form TEs. Teddys fault all of it.
  4. clout is the new cancer. i think this is old too..
  5. Watson can block the whole DL along with being the starting TE and top backup.
  6. Not a fan either, but I respected the fact that Boston never took the late season for granted. He was one of the only players in 2019 to give 100% effort late season. Same for last year, he payed his best late season too. Hernaiy was about the only GM to give him big safety money, have fun in washington Tre..
  7. Draft is where my focus would be for improving the QB spot. I believe theres never been 4 QBs drafted before pick 8(i think it happens this yr/anyway...). Im just not dumb, pathetic, and desperate enough to move massive resources for a team that needs massive resources due to lack of talent. I dont want to move form 8 either, but if the price is right, say a 4th&future 3rd to move up a couple spots...maybe. Houston with similar talent went 4-12 with Watson and his 2 ACLs tears. I feel like most overlook these facts. Going back to the "not dumb, pathetic, and desperate enough" part. This past draft had great examples of this. Bills traded a bunch of picks for Diggs and gave him more money. Viking took Justin Jefferson, whom looked like a young Jerry Rice while getting a rookie scale contract and control. Bills are happy with Diggs, but if they just didnt panic trade, could have had a stud rookie WR. The same thing happened with Indy and 49ers, Indy traded for Forester and made him the 2nd highest paid DT. 49ers took Kinlaw and he had a Brown like year. Panic lead to these moves. All teams are happy, but 100/100 Id take the rookie in each deal. Other QBs out other than Watson, for far cheaper cost. Minshew is worth a late rounder, Mitch is worth a cheap deal, winston is out there too. Just bad timing given the current team to trade loads of resources for Watson/3rd overall. Ask me again in 2022 and depending on the team, I may change my mind. Panthers waaaaaay over performed this past year, dont drink the juice. Team still needs QB, WHOLE OL, LBs, CBs, TEs and depth at EVERY group.
  8. Wait til other team do cuts, but if this gives you hope ignore my statement.
  9. I defended him until about week 8. He followed the Arizona game with a dud, then another dud. Right now he should only be he invited to camp. Put on the *SAME* grading scale as the UDFAs and if he gets out-played, either trade to the wft for a 5th or cut him.
  10. I hate that some legit draft experts have Sewell falling to the panthers. He is my "watson" dream with it being harder to find a great LT than great QB.
  11. I'll start using Greg instead.....that will lead to "But Olsen retired derp derp..." comments. Tis a small price to pay tho...
  12. I understand, right there with you. Little cap space with little talent is the worst. I just want some sort of stable OL, before putting a highly invested resource behind it. So many example, recent examples - Luck, Burrow, Carr, CAm, darnold. Each where ruined by awful OLs. I DO NOT what to repeat recent history, Ive learned and aware. Great part is, with some luck....2022 the panthers will have a stable roster and ready to compete for a playoff spot.
  13. All the rumors point to him wanting LT/top tier money. All Ive heard about Moton is hes a true professional. Hard worker, no off-field worries, and very smart. No idea about how his agents will handle this. Honestly before it gets messy, you could tag and trade him. Personally I wouldnt pay top LT money. He could play out the tag if thats the case. A issue is RT money is very close to what LT money is now. If you only will play for top LT money, sorry we do not know youre able to play 16 games there. Play the tag at LT and go form there, if thats his issue. Other options tag&trade/reach a fair contract.
  14. How long have the panthers been fixing the OL? The new GM came form Seattle, how long have they been fixing the OL? You also have no issues with Watson behind whatever OL the panthers have in 2021, forget even going to ask about depth.. But you got- LT- ???/2nd rounder *thought this would be in a watson deal, so..... come up with another soultion* LG-fix the f***ing OL C-???/Paradis/fix the f***ing OL RG- fix the f***ing OL RT- One year of Moton Depth- fix the f***ing OL Put Watson and his 2 ACL tears behind that? WHy so he can lead the panthers to a 4-12 record like the 2020 texans, but he'd be on the IR with the panthers. Got a better solution, if you do please fix the TE, CB, LB group too. They ALL need starters and depth also.
  15. Wow real thoughts??? No good huddlers are in QB heat, theyre not in control. Ive been planeting seeds about the lack of talent and depth, they dont care. Blinded by the QB light. I'll just add both Robby Anderson and Moore are 2022 FAs, burns needs 20 million per very soon too.
  16. I said that in the quote, check the first line and look at your own question.
  17. He looked awful, Im FIRMLY in "Panthers got faaaar too many holes/dont overpay for Watson/early first group". FIRM! No one of the trade everything for Watson crew has answer my question about the OL or how they feel about putting him behind it. NOT ONE. They must feel watson can block the whole DL, be the starting TE, and not get injuried during this. Walker isnt Teddy, since many have a hate boner for Teddy.
  18. Copy pasta?? Need more light hearted posting here, thanks. I could help with my years of fantasy football, 90% with average 3rd out of 12 finishing. 40 leagues exp and I specialize in leagues with defenders. Doesnt matter 20 team, H2H, points, 8 team, weird points system, I still finish no worst than 3rd most times!!
  19. I always hate it when the good ones leave the living. It seems booze had its iron grip on him, but he still made real efforts to give back to the people/community. Going to be a sad day when Warrick Dunn is gone too, NFL needs more Warrick Dunns. Thomas Davis has done a great job and hes retiring this year too. I wish it was super popular being like Jackson, Dunn, and Davis.
  20. Rhule had the best first year for me, if you take everything in count. Fox is right there with 7-9 after a 1-15 season. I change my mind, fox had the best first year. RR did the same with going 6-10 form 2-14 quiters. All impressed, Rhule feels different tho..
