  1. The darnold trade made me 180 on where I wanted QB taken. Before I was all for Lance falling to the panthers, now I want all 5 QB drafted before the panthers pick so guaranteed one of Sewell, Pitts, or Chase with be there.
  2. It involves 80 grit sandpaper, industrial stapler, and staircase banister......lube is optional.... Bet was Trey lance would go within 10 spots of Justin Fields....
  3. Some slid, some rise before the draft, he slid. I give credit, verge was one of the first out of anyone to make that claim. I never wanted him at 8, I said that was the ultimate Herniay pick, back when it was first discussed and Marty was still GM. Jamin davis, JOK, and maybe even Zaven Collins have passed Parsons on a few boards. Its not all the teams, someone may still have him as a 1st and lock at that. He still could go later first, he odds have sure dropped some.
  4. @Varking you still feel comfy about our bet?.....
  5. @45catfan you didnt know you where making a forum bet with a top decision maker, huh??......
  6. Lots of work and effort went into this post.
  7. I got him a mid-2nd. CB are a funny bunch and recent drafts show you better draft them one round early than where you grade them. Look at lasted years draft- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_NFL_Draft Jeff went 3rd overall, before QBs Tua and herbert. (struggle hard too, pride looked better..) CJ went 9th...9th for a CB in a great draft Failcons reached hard for AJ, most had him in the 2nd, but he went 16th overall Raiders reached harder for Damon Arnette. most had him as late 2, even 3rd round guy. Dolpins took a 5'8 CB with the 30th pick, reach as well Viking took their normal CB in the first and thus killing more fans via alcoholism. I like Joseph, but hes not among the top "hopes" for the panthers 2nd/39th overall pick. Im basis towards SEC players. He played petty good against NFL level WRs and has the numbers you want(check out his proday) at CB. Plus its a must that the CB has INTs in college, got to have ball skills and he does. Most may grade him as a 3rd, so he should go in the 2nd. I hope after hes around the panthers 3rd pick, put the odds at 5%.
  8. For as big as he was, he sucked hard at blocking. Smitty was 3x the blocker KB was.
  9. KB needs fellow big guys to give him tips on dressing, o god he needs to be saved....
  10. Lets wait to see what happens, if most show, having all those Balyor/Temple players will pay off some. I hope Rhule told the whole team- players who show up and work, will benefit and be ahead of those who dont... Poor guy didnt get all the rookie HC stuff, Id hate to see team react by taking this away too. 5-11 team needs to improve and this helps, but you got all these BS agendas now-a-days..
  11. Two things- vets with workout bonus, is the "team" or union going to pay my 150,000 bonus if I do not show?? Vets dont want younger players to take their jobs. Its that simple, so they make-up a bunch of BS convid, unfair, need more moneyz, etc. Its all BS, the only way for young players to get better is reps/snaps, watching film, and working out. The vets know this and what to stunt rookies growth, such chicken poo!! Imagine getting paid the league minimum 660,000 just once for your life. 20 games in 365 days, yea theres much more to it than that, but its not "real" work for the normies. Then you complain constantly, dont want to show up for.... what 6 days....( 3 hours per day??) of film watching and lifting. Then you go back to your vacation, what a fuging joke..
  12. Kadarius Toney may go in the top half of the first and even before Devonta Smith. Lions like many others are looking to trade down in the draft. RB ranking on the the top 5 vary greatly among teams. Corners Patrick Surtain (Alabama) and Jaycee Horn (South Carolina), along with offensive talents like Kyle Pitts (Florida) and Rashawn Slater (Northwestern) are the final four for the Blowboys
  13. Keep fighting the good fight Huddler!
  14. Why the jets didnt want him or why Denver may want him? Panthers may have offered to most of the guaranteed, and that still didnt work for the Jets. Teddy was a jet for a TC, he may have leftd a bad impression on some important people still there.
  15. Only saving grace about Pat was I heard he had a thumb injury that prevented his ability to workout. Plus the Coach Rhule poster layed out a good point for him being cast in a bad system. Hes needs a zone system with space/pulling to maximize his abilities. Hes been graded 80th out of 82 for most of his career. Ive seen faaar too many gifs/clips of him getting bulldozer by DTs. Vita Vea will push him out the stadium if he doesnt get loads more stronger. Thats been hes big issue for me, he looks and play weak. Hope Rhule genius Baylor strength coach can work his magic.
  16. Call this at the start and was label "crazy". Said they finish 16th/mid pack. Right now with the current left said......3X would be the first number Id pick.
  17. No idea, but if Denver lands a early QB in the draft.....that may kill the only hope to trade him. Been nice to move Teddy in the Darnold deal, to mentor Wilson, but it seems the Jets wanted no part. (they did trade him to saints for a 3rd a couple years ago)
  18. O you guys.....I know its hard to believe, but its still Mac Jones going to the the 49ers. Dont buy recent hype over real insight. 98% it will be Mac "******" Jones LOL at 49ers
  19. I think he gets cut too, BUT look at this - https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/carolina-panthers/ Look below the dead cap and saving column. Change it to post june trade.... You see the difference in dead space is 20 and 5 million? Of course panthers will have to eat some salary, but thats why they want to trade him. Cap saving if cut= 3 million. Cap saving if traded 18 million. (number would change some for a new contract) Thats why I mention to @SizzleBuzz things could get messy, cause we're talking about huge differences in a tight year. Still think he gets cut, but you see why they want to trade him. May have to add a draft pick like 4th+Teddy for Denvers' 7th to get the dead/saving benefits. Post June for sure.
  20. Just heard Frankie and Sewell are friends.......hmmmm need that tin foil hat fellow to make a post.....
  21. Good post MHS Bloodly hell that OL...... Moton, Miller, Paradis are "decent/ok" but only ONE year of control. Left is a black-hole currently, need Daley and either Scott/Little/Erv to shock the world... My opinion, Elf is the 2022 C in waiting and may play either OG in the mean time. Something needs to be done at WR far as long term for either or both Moore/Anderson TE for me needs a average NFL starter, I do not know if Dan is up to that task. Im done with Thomas as anything more than 3rd option. IF the panthers had the best DL in the NFL, ID STILL WANT MOOOORRRREEE. Need depth across the line for sure, I do no know what the plans are for CMiller, I was once real high on him. Need depth at LB. Orr or Clay Johnston(he needs to be put on the list) may be able to fill the depth. Mack is coming back too, I liked him as a 2020 UDFA This may be the surprise form me- I like the current DB status, it depends heavily on Bouye and DJs' health/issues. Pride and STO are good young building blocks. Melvin is a vet and can play those first 2 games. This best group and Id never would have believed this starting 2020- Safety. Big Sam Franklin fan, I think Krob could step up this year too. Hartsfield can play S/NB and looked petty good at seasons end. Burris is one of the most under-rated panthers, panthers struggled when he was out. Chandler is one of the Temple guys (Rhules trust). This is the only group where I do not feel need draft picks.
  22. For me its a little personal. One game he looks like hes challenging Sunshine for #1, the next game he looks like a different players and high priority UDFA. I personally hate those types. Plus as much as I try not to, .05% of the ranking is due to Dwayne haskins freshness...
  23. Yep, but all teams are drafting BPAs off their board and never reach blah b lah balah. All teams will improve in the draft......well except for the texans and seahawks.. To play along- 6 wins is my current number and its very shaky...
  24. Sure are loads of names left at DT, I like Richard but havnt kept up with him since the star era. He was a force 5 years ago, and at one point was the better DT. I did see 2 days ago he was talking up the browns D, and now they cut him. I always hate to see that happen. must have needed the coin for Clown Clowny who stole another 8 million.
