Warson was plan A,B,C,E and F. Teppers' thirst for a QB was boundless, like my guy @SizzleBuzz states fritterer reports to Tepper and does his bidding. Darnold was plan X. Other plans H,J,M etc were trade up for a QB. Darnold was the 2:57 am girl in the club parking lot.

GM came in 2020, hes new too. No one there drafted Sam Darnold or paid Robby Anderson. Recently Joe Douglas admitted he made a mistake about not re-signing ANderson. Im sure its still floating around goggle.

Joe Douglas(ravens org) is the new GM, 2020 I think. Hes only had one year and look at the difference in draft with FAs. His only big mistake was Robby ANderson and he admitted that. Darnold was my favorite QB in 2018, since then hes put out nothing but bad tape. 3 years using many different QB ranking system/metrics - SAM Darnold was the worst QB. Much like I was fan of Cam Erving in his draft, hes also graded one as one of the worst. Only one with lesser grade was the newest panther Pat elflein. Plently of excuses for each- Sam needs more weapons and better OL etc. Fact is for 3 years hes played very poorly. I dont judge rookie year, still 2 years of play and nearly all metrics/ranking have Darnold as the worst QB (with minimum starts.) Good thing hes young and can improve, hes a panther now and hope he leads them to superbowls. I echo much of the 2nd round price dislike. Seems panthers didnt want to trade a 3rd and 5th this year, so the jets came back with 2022 2nd and 4th. Sewell, Chase, and Pitts....one please be there at 8!!!

All you have to do is check around the league, theres not even 32 true LT in the league. Save you the time, more legit QBs than LTs. Hence why its harder to find. Value wise, its QB all-day and 3x on sunday. Numbers wise its LT and its not getting easier. I did see where Sewell had maturity questions, well thats 100% of the other draftees too. I hope the panthers do not make the same mistake 6 teams in front do.

I think DT is the lowest overall rated group. TE is carried by Pitts and couple of 2nd(late) guys. DT only has Levi Onwuzurike, who is rated everywhere. Id much prefer focus on OT, OL, CB, QB, LB with the first 4 rounds. Marvin Wilson and Barmore are about the only ones worth 2-3 rounder. Just a super weak class, value doesnt match til about the 5th for me. I disagree with their being value in 3rd, still what names do you believer will be there and worth the 73rd pick? I feel WR will still hold the best value advantage over DT, but its not a big need. I dont believe Paye is a DT, you may feel different. I still feel the edge group will be loaded for the 39th pick tho...

Ive heard that same thinking a few times, Shanny wants Jones and scouts/performance crew wants Lance. Shanny is like Rivera/Bilacheat, hes got nearly full control.

Same thoughts as well, I may have even started the quality LT >> quality QB deal. Just name good LTs vs QBs, theres more QBs. College Rule changing have almost killed OLmen, which is why Im perplexed about Sewell dropping. Honestly I would not care if panthers drafted back-to-back OT in the 1st and 2nd rounds, someone/moton is playing OG tho. For sure LT & QB >>> WR & TE, Im a big value guy too. Be such a relief having a elite LT for 15 years.... I think some of my first posting here in 2017, were comments about the panthers needing to draft 2 OTs. I followed it up each year, been years since the panthers had a good swing tackle too. lastly if you build a great OL with great OTs, QBs will be BEGGING to play here..

I concur, I had these same thoughts months ago about Lance vs Fields/Jones. For your last statement; personally Pitts and/or Chase would make me happy as well. Many think WR/TE isnt a need, but both Moore and Anderson are 2022 (currently). The price to sign one looks to be 20 million per........ be very hard to sign both, so Chase on a rookie deal is welcomed. Besides 3 WRs would be the base, hes a starter getting starter snaps so long he earns them. TE i feel is vastly under-rated in the NFL. Pitts....6'6 245 LBs Pitts would fill the TE and he can be flexed out to WR given his 4.4 time/skills. Longest wingspan in the draft and Panthers need a red zone threat. Many said the panthers were big losers with the 49ers trade up. If they take Mac "&G*G&H(BUO" Jones....panthers will be HUUUUUUUUUGE winners. No insane price and one out of Fields, Lance, Sewell, Pitts, Chase will be there.

Ill add- every single top 5 QB, when they took the field, only 2 games had less talent than the opponent. One was the OSU vs Clemson, the other escapes me currently( think the other was bama vs OSU). So none of those QBs had to over-come a talent deficiency, each where never tested except in 2 games. I was not a wilson fan, so I went back and my jaw got hurt doing the "wOw" face. Hes got some the best arm talent Ive seen. I think the surgeries made him better. He is this years Burrow, about coming out of no where. Youre right about that.

Seems Watson believes IG is for finding masseuses, what are we up to now, 40? You know Watson has already ran threw the locals masseuses, hence why he was flying some of them in. I dont agree with Bucky on much of anything, but I do here. Very very simply- RPO. If jones does RPO, ZERO respect form the defensive. ZERO. If Lance or Fields do RPO the defensives must account for it. RPO is a staple in college and more than a few NFL run it as well. Well the D may fall down in laughter form Jones during a RPO, so he may get some yards after all.

You could make a case that lance played better competition, many still havnt got over his CC game. My issues with Wilson are his size and 2 know elbow/shoulder issues.

If the rules havnt changed, Tre Boston relief will not show until june 1st. He was one of the "post-June" cuts, before june 1st...... hope that isnt confusing since my wording is always trash.
