Im weird about the agent deal, personally Id pass if I was some elite college player. The contracts are mostly done, just get a real good lawyer to overlook (cost 300$) and sign the dam thing. Now come free agency.....this hurts my cheap-wired mind....maybe getting an agent is correct. The big part is the team has to trash the player to the agent to show they want to pay less. No matter the player, theres something you can point out- example the DJ moore contract. Panthers Sal- " fug you, moores TD can be replaced by a WR off the streets if given the same snaps!!" You can not trash the player to his face, thus the agent buffer maybe needed. Plus agents also bail you of jail, find endorsements, get more money, etc....I just cannt do the fee, I like to keep my money, its MINE!

I know west coast has the sigma of being pass heavy(mainly due to Andy Reid doing 60/40, before all the cool coaches did the same), but the running part is just important to the other west coast coaches. Bill Walsh more than few times emphasized running the ball was more important, cause it setup up the passing part. Had to force the teams to adjust and when they did, hit one of those 8 slates for an 60 yard TD. West coast also use FB which are nearly dead as well. Ive also said before all teams run all offensives now, theres no _______ . I still think thats the best solution. Penning, Raimann, Lucas and a few more all can be LTs and drafted in the teens later. I like the LT group, even a few later round maybes. Just too many panther holes.... I think there are some real teams that want to trade up. DE group is worth it. Theres is some reason to protect young players egos. I know many are just like me and they are their own worst enemy. I remember Byron Bell being super hyped about getting in and making one play- his reaction was 'HELL YEA, I CAN PLAY IN THIS LEAGUE!!!" He was over joyed with a 15 yard gain so told Jordan Gross. Right after gross said, " Thats great and all, but we have to do that again right now " Still Rhule and all his people should have prepared the young ones better and they should have gotten more snaps. Its possible to end a players career. You can not convince me Miller and daley practiced better than Brown and Christ, no chance Im buying that. Maaaaayyyybe fewer mistakes/misalignments/etc.

I dont know if Luke wants to cut his teeth in coaching. I believe he was already asked that and give a firm "No not for me". (could be wrong, if so please enlighten) Tried his hand at scouting and lasted 1 year? First rounders with millions saved, just dont do coaching. Who knows tho, luke is different. Fishing is tons less stress than getting a 2022 LB group to perform week-2-week.

I think the main reason for hiring Ben Macado was his NFL QB success. Rhule and whoever else has been making the QB decisions since the day 1 Rhule era, needs to be banned for all QBs decisions. Give Ben ALLLLLL the QB power.

Baker would be just a test to see if hes sticks. 2020 Baker was pettty dam good, recent was meh... I mean panthers not only need a starter, but a backup.....AND maybe a developmental type as well. I could see drafting one AND adding baker/minshew/jimmy. Plus Im not 100% Sam Darnold is pure trash either, hated the move for him, but for 4 seasons he has been running for his life nearly right after the snap.

I got him about in the same area, maybe a little lower because this draft has a better 1-6(overall). It would say a lot if Christ was on the bench, I mean in terms of panthers OL Levels.
