Rodney Smith Needs to keep his Jersey
Basbear replied to Carolina Cajun's topic in Carolina Panthers
His blocking is great and that part of a RB is vastly under-rated. He put out some great tape form that dallas with biltz pickup, ST play, hands, and ran well too. He for sure is on other teams radar now, I wouldnt be shocked for a team to sign him shortly. I like freeman, but if they are not going to use him, do him a favor and keep Smith. -
Meanwhile, over at that other expansion team...

I havnt seen that but i dont go looking for it either. Both got caught. Honestly Im shocked this doesnt matter more often(for both). Have good PI follow around all the players&coaches and show what happens during a couple weeks....... I doubt we'd see many doug christies. I believe douggie got caught and that was part of his "plea" deal, better than a kobe ring i guess.... In my traveling days, I stayed all around EC and NC was one of my states. Meck county was doing great and I stayed in Hunterville a few times. Wingate was my fav spot to stay(rewards member) and I got to know a few of the front desks people. She knew I was a panther fan and after some road talking, she spilled the beans that Shane Burton had gotten in trouble recently. Seems he been staying there off/on for a while and sending whores at all hours. Most times they ignore, but he got out of hand and law was called. -
Feds have already asked 10+ lawyers/judges local&big-time how they are looking with the mountain of evidence. Most times they have YEARS of it, along with people on the inside. They even pick out the weakest ones or ones with the most to lose(kids, $$$, etc etc), have 50 charges waiting, grab them up and "arrest" them. Then the screwing starts,- "we can make ALLLLlll of this go away, if you do this simple task ______ " for us.......o and sign these papers as well...... They dont make any mistakes and you are DONE if they are busting down doors. They have spent millions and unless you have better lawyers(LOLOL)/beyond lucky(why the arrest then??) or have some real proof that was over-looked(big doubt). They have you dead to rights.

Take your pick all OLmen are looking bad. One thing that saves Erv, he is the LT and they go against the best DLman most times. I know for a fact hes playing better than Paradis or Daley. Miller(super bad Dallas game) and moton could make a case for "best" one, but everyone is playing poor(including moton)
-
I was wrong about him being active. He looked in better shape than I guessed, no blame for that perfect rainbow TD pass. Only had 18 snaps out of 61, he will be starting before too long. I still can not believe this trade happened and if horn comes back 100%, best pair of CBs in the league.
-
Chance he lands on the PS replacing Martin who replaced him on the 53. Like Zob said, if you can not make this OL.....
-
Yup, this game like many others was won in the trenches. Dallas lines controlled Panthers lines, it was shocking that panthers got within one score(mainly cause dallas took its foot off and Diggs was out as well). Dallas has the 2nd best RB group in the league, pollard is a stater on about 10 other teams and Zeke looks in his best shape while being a top 4 RB. Only browns have it better...

Moton has played at the same level as the other OLmen, petty bad/average. In fact the best looking one so far is looking like Erv, but tallest midget blah blah.... Im off the daley bus, gave him 4 games and he is neck-in-neck with Paradis for worst OL. Looks like every single one is playing with a bad injury. Weak as well...
-
Wat??? Beside game one hes looked great. For the first time he has taken cardio serious, he looks lighter than before. Pollard looks like one of the better backups, like right after Hunt..

I dont think its equal or close. I feel that Dak&Zeke are best QBRB combo in the league. Dallas O carries the team, OL and WRs are top shelf as well. D is mid-late pack missing DL and DB talents. If the snow show continues, Panthers O is good enough for their normal 27-ish points and that should be enough. I feel Sam will perform better than Teddy w/o CMC, but this team has a better O group than last year..
-
Hell yea!!
-
Snow needs to find better roles/positions/placement for him and Chinn needs to do better also. I heard they wanted to prolong his career, so the move to S(plus LB was a huge hole last yr). Not going to be one of those "always find faults" guys. The D has allowed the OL, ST, and TEs to play poor while still winning. Just CMC is a huge lose, no matter my RB feelings, Chinn and others need to pick it up.....Its almost first quarter season, i need CHinn monster tackle game or couple TOs him to finish it out.
-
Already excuse for the blowboys. Main event is Dak vs Snow, if its like the first 3 games.....Panthers stomp
-
With CMC out, Chinn needs to step it up, cause he has been sorta ghost-like this season.

My analysis of C.J. Henderson and body language.

sicilian pantomime- a woman's got twenty, but a guy's got seventeen... If you want, watch one of better scenes in movie history- checkout True Romance christopher walker and dennis hooper. -
Sam is playing better that I thought he could this season and this early. That said plenty for him to improve on and Greg is right like most times. Reminder than the OL is playing like late 20s level and Sam is still moving the ball along with getting a couple scores each game.
-
Hes better than our current kicker, Finesser go for the crazy move, it will not stop the blowboys talking.

I echo the getting there.. He had the hardest start for any HC in NFL history last year. That team lost close to 60% of the snaps and stats, not to mention the leadership. Besides a few quarters, they were in every game til the end. Major props for that feat. Now with one of the youngest team hes got them 3-0 with never being behind currently. My main worry is Rhule getting to the smelly his farts smug ego levels or leaves for ________ . He is a great follow to John Fox 1&2, sick of the archaic 20 years they had that beyond ran its course. I enjoy watching panther football again, same for last season too.

Is this the best Panthers pass rush in franchise history?

If you only view pass rush, marquis haynes is one of the better depth pieces. -

Jenkins had elite pass rusher DT skills for that time period. This is a tough call this early. Even the Hardy, KK, Star, CJ line is up there if not the best. Judging just pass rush, this current group is climbing ... too soon for me to call Zob since youre in a too soon mood, why not ask the real question- Who is the better defensive mind/coach - John Fox, Ron Rivera, or Phil Snow ??? What say thee? -
How can anyone see him? I need to start smoking again, my eyes are failing..
